- gary (7/5): The shanty festival weekend - Well equipped very clean and a good size and lovely owner and well situated For the town and docklands..we had a good time but mattress and ants need to be dealt with and it would then have been a perfect stay.... The mattress was old and very uncomfortable i could feel the springs sticking out the sides when sitting or lying down and gave me a bad back for the weekend. Also a problem with ants coming into the kitchen and onto the counter tops

- Janet (9/5): - Tidy house, close to railway, buses and shops. Renee was most helpful and her instructions for the house very concise.
- Mai (7/5): Meet the needs. - Spacious and well equipped kitchen. Front appearance could be improved with a new coat of paint and tidy garden, it was just weeds and not really a garden!! Struggle to have 4 people in the flat, we have to move the kitchen table to the lounge whenever we had breakfast and dinner. Hair dryer could be replaced with a normal one instead of one of those attached to the wall with the base and one has to hold the whole thing to dry hair!! Most unusual!
- Adam (9/5): Hidden gem - Being greeted by heather was actually really cute and although the reviews were already pretty good, we were actually pleasantly surprised by how quaint and clean the apartment was.. Fantasticly located for a short walk to town harbour and pubs.. And although situated on a link road, it was also relatively quiet and not a peep from other guests either... Would definitely recommend and stay again.. Good work H đđŒ Bed was slightly uncomfortable, but my partner and I are sufferers And could've done with a TV in the bedroom

- Katharine (9/5): Good comfortable stay for meeting up with family. - Bright and spacious with plenty of room for the three of us and our dog. Good facilities and beds were comfortable. In a good walkable location for a choice of supermarkets. Free onsite parking a bonus. A little noisy with traffic in the evenings/night due to property being located at a busy junction.

- Sheila (9/5): Great accommodation as long as you are not disable. - Great accommodation. The host was very friendly and let me store my disability scooter in their hallway. The only problem was the amount of stairs I had to climb up to get to and fro to the apartment. Not really suitable for a disable person.

- Mark (9/5): Great stay, great value - Heather is lovely, didn't see her to pay until the last day, and she was far more relaxed about it than I was. Easy to find, get in and park. All kitchen facilities you could possibly need. Washing machine does a fast wash and dry, which in the middle of a record breaking, extinction level heatwave (according to people that are ignoring 1976, for example) is a life saver. The property is a little tired, but at it's age it's going to be, the tiredness is being addressed, and I saw nothing that was in the least off-putting. The only other thing that I would like, is a TV in the bedroom, but it's certainly not an expectation given the price.

There is a bar in the front room and an honesty system for payment. Something different. Loved that we were able to self-cater and cook after being out all day. Car parking behind the building. Nothing.

- Christine (8/5): Omfortable and friendly and spotlessly clean in apartment. - We were not booked for breakfast as sproperty was self catering The front of the building was very tatty, we were put off at first, but when we went in, looked dark, but the people who gave us keys were most obliging and the apartment was bigger than expected, it was called Bluebell, they gave us milk, tea and coffee which was kind and the water was always hot for a shower. We were very comfortable there. It was next to a main road, but we slept well and wasnât woken with anything. We had an enjoyable stay there. So do not judge by first impression, it is very good.

- Cheryl (8/5): Very pleasant place to stay in an ideal location - The information was not the same from the booking.com website and the property's direct website. It wasn't clear which one took precedence. I wanted to leave home with a very clear idea of how to book in, and wasn't able to. Once I did get in, everything was fine, and the staff were all helpful and friendly, but again it wasn't that clear that if you wanted something when and where would you find someone to help The bath towel provided didn't even wrap around my body (and I'm quite skinny) - but to be fair when I found someone to ask, a better one was provided immediately. This place is a bit of a curate's egg, but ultimately the good things far outweigh the niggles

Lovely and clean and loved all the vintage bedroom furniture, lounge and kitchen area bigger than I was expecting. The apartment had everything we needed and the location was excellent.

This was a wonderful old property offering a comfortable apartment ideal for our weekend stay. It was full of character, somewhat old fashioned but in a comforting way that was very homely. Excellent shower with all the facilities we needed.

It was a lovely spacious apartment and it was easy to get parked right outside. It was only a 15 minute walk to the ferry. It was a little warm in the living area on a night. A fan was provided but was noisy when trying to sleep on the sofa bed.

Heather, and Mike, were really friendly and accommodating and were great hosts. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean, the kitchen well equipped and the bedding was great quality. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Nothing all was good.

We will go back. - The landlady was particularly helpful and did some washing for us because it turned out that the washing machine was not functioning properly (this was immediately fixed as well). The premises are being renovated to a high standard, starting with the rooms, but the entrance has not yet had a makeover and was tired / dated. There's no need to be put off by this.

- Key (10/5): Home from home in Gosport! - We spent a few days in each of the apartments whilst in Gosport visiting family. Both were absolutely perfect in terms of comfort, facilities and location. Heather is very helpful and a lovely host. Will certainly recommend and use again as our 'home from home'! Nothing not to like. Everything was spot on with great attention to detail.

- Hollie (10/5): Brilliant location, lovely staff, very peaceful, weâll be back soon đ - Great location, apartment was like home and home everything we needed and more, staff very helpful and friendly even finding us a car parking space when there wasnât initially one there for us. Honesty bar is a great idea and very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back. There was nothing I disliked, the only thing I will stay is donât be put off by how the building looks from the outside because once inside the decor is keeping in line with the building era.

The bed was really comfortable and Heather is a lovely lady. Although we did not use it the honesty bar is a great idea. The drinks looked very reasonably priced. Wonderfull place to stay. I honestly can,t think of anything to put here!
