Guest Reviews
- 92imanem (2/5): My experience in my loft Anfa - First thing the staff working there was not responsible ( night shift ) , we checked the room they gave us ، bedding was so dirty , stinky smell around we checked another room and it was worst more like disgusting we couldn’t sleep there and we went to another hotel at night , it was the worst establishment i experienced it . I don’t recommend it it all , and when we did the complaint they didn’t take it seriously and they didn’t gave us the refund we are still waiting for it .
- Darren (10/5): - This was the perfect compromise for being right near the central medina and all of the things it has to offer, but still being insulated from the noise and crowds. Nice staff also.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Do not book here - The rooms were dirty there was mold on the air conditioner. There were no towels in either room. The key didn’t work so we didn’t have a key the 1st day! And we were locked out from the entire hotel when coming back from dinner
- B6051LDdonnas (2/5): Not good experiences. - Our guide had reserved a room with two beds for my friend and me. At check in we were told the only room had a large bed. When we got to the room, there was only one towel and there was a pair of dirty socks on the closet floor. Also, there was no one to help with luggage. We left immediately.
- Umer (10/5): Convenient Location - Convenient location with made to order breakfast, street parking available in the neighborhood.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Everything was good except the bad smell coming out of the toilets. The flush system does not work well and there is a continuous bad smell, they need to solve this issue. It makes the mood of a person very bad to smell that.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location, plenty of restaurants within 5min walk, very friendly staff.
BUT, upon my arrival on the first night, the hotel was overbooked and did not have a room for me despite my reservation. This was very annoying after a days travel and being very tired. However, they did find me an alternative hotel for the night and arranged my transfers. Other than that, I had a pleasant stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was very good experience
Overall property was very nice
Room was good
Location was very good
Staff was very friendly and helpful
We like the location
Air conditioning unit was good works
Few small things needs to fix I let them know
Other than that very lovely 😊
Thank you 😊
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The stuff were super nice I felt like I was home thank you !
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice comfortable place! Friendly staff and very close to Hassan mosque II.... We had a long connection back home so i got the hotel to see a bit of Casablanca and this hotel worked out perfectly
Restaurants all around it and close to most of the highlights area
Definitely would stay here if i go back to to Casablanca
- Travelers2019 (2/5): - Location and staff trys to help but they look bored as place is
always dead thats about it. If you are going to Morocco or Casablanca for 1st time vaca i wouldnt stay tbere as i just did and learned the hard way.
Breakfast poor basically juice, cofffee and mini hard breads. Inedible croissants. Sliding doors wont lock. Toilet dont work. Reported both issue got no feedback. Language big issue unless you speak arabic or French.
- Yannick (10/5): Great location - Great location and very helpful staff, very welcoming, would recommend it!!! You also have your own cooking facilities in the loft everything you need inside
- NoExcuses_TravelOn (6/5): Modern decor and nice hotel with some nuances - Some of the reviews were harsh. This is a fine place to stay but don't expect the service of a nice hotel or cozy Riad.
Pros
Cost. Paid 70US
Area. In nicer part of town near business district. Felt safer at night.
Modern decor
Blackout windows (no the windows did not lock but I never saw spiderman. Also for all i know it was user error. The electric shades were great)
We felt very safe and someone was always at the front.
We needed rush laundry and they made it happen (at a cost but worth it)
Good aircon
Addressing other complaints on TripAdvisor..
Yes it will be hard to get nespresso pods... just go get $1 coffee with locals
No the couches aren't really meant to sleep on.. this seemed clear in photos.
It does offer a kitchenette which is very basic. If you are counting on this, there are no sharp knives and you may want to call ahead to make sure enough silverware is available especially if you have 3 ppl. We didn't use so not sure if they have knives available. Could be a safety thing.
You have to pay tax on way out. Hotels.com did disclose this in other detail. Annoying on hotel.com part but noticed this everywhere.
We didn't try breakfast. Hotel was empty and assumed it would be easier to grab a pastry.
No one spoke that much English but I am in their country.
Cons:
The service isn't that attentive as others mentioned. The decor was unfinished. Missing lightbulbs, towel rack, drawers didn't close easily. Doors weren't installed properly. Nothing to write home about but a little annoying as they advertise as new and great.
Service. Took 2 hours to get toilet paper.
We started with 2 towels. They cleaned room now we had 1.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fantastisk - Veldig fint sted. Bra beliggenhet. God standard.
- Kim (4/5): Never again - my room was nothing like the pictures on your site . I got a suite that showed 3 single beds and got 1 full size bed . I made the reservation for 2 . But ended up having 3 and had np when there was additional. Once we got them to understand that we were not sleeping together , we ended up with a person on the sofa ( which so happen to be comfortable , a person in the bed and a person on a cot ! . Aside from that we were never given enough towels to accommodate all of us. The balcony doors didn’t lock , we called to address it and was told “we would be . We are on the 4th floor” needless to say I won’t return
- Verified traveler (8/5): Lacking in the details but good location - The place is an apartment-hotel. Has 24/7 reception that I found friendly and attentive. I didn't need much besides check in and out and few other questions but all went smooth. The decor in the room is nice but finishes are lacking. The room was not clean to my satisfaction with random hairs on the bed, toilet could be cleaner with droplets marks, had no towels ready in room but was immediately given without asking as the guy who showed me in noticed. Overall the place is nice, didn't use the kitchen and saw the coffee machine had no capsules so can't rate it. The place needs more attention to detail and cleanliness. Price is just ok for what you get, at a little bit more you can already sleep in the 4 star Barcelo hotel which I stayed few times but wanted to try this to know other options.
- Thuyvi (6/5): Modern hotel for a fair price - Shower was clogged, but was fixed in a timely manner. Overall, a decent experience for a group.
- Kristin (10/5): - Super servise, rent og pent, og bra beliggenhet. Anbefales.
- SSD (10/5): - New property, studio-like suite apartment, great location and value. Friendly and helpful staff.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - (- :
- CL (10/5): - Great modern hotel, 30 minutes walk to Hassan Mosque. Very clean and spacious with two balconies and a small kitchen. Staff is friendly.
- nadlerus (2/5): Beware of Fraudulent Credit Card Charges - The room was nice however we had several large Visa bills noted by Chase fraud protection. Since they were all on our first day, and this was our only credit card use we can only blame Myloft. If you choose to book here, check your statements carefully.
- Cristina (10/5): Spacious rooms in city - Very clean and large rooms. Good location. ~25 minutes walking to mosque. Friendly staff members.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Lovely Riad - The Riad was very cute. The staff were very welcoming. It is extremely tough to find so I would suggest having them pick you up. The Riad is very close to the main market and convenient to walk to everything.
- 783raquelv (8/5): Great place to stay - Stayed for 2 nights and payed 134€.
The staff was very friendly, they explained everything we need to know about the city.
When we wanted a taxi they went to the main road to get one for us.
The room was clean
The breakfast is very good and cheap.
- Alaa (4/5): - They look at you as a walking dollar bill!!
I asked the guy at the counter that I needed to exchange a $100 bill and he offered me to exchange it for me.
I agreed and later on that day I found out from an official exchange place that he gave me 200 dirham less.
- Janiece (8/5): - Lovely little boutique hotel. Beautifully decorated spacious room..Very helpful staff.
- Charlene (6/5): Over priced and over rated. - Good location. Spacious. Was not as good as the pictures appeared. We used several taxis and they all had difficulty finding the hotel. We had 2 sliding doors and neither one would lock. The sheets were clean but there was hair on the mattress underneath the sheets (no mattress cover), one of the pillows was stained. It was advertised as a queen bed and 2 sofa sleepers; they were not sofa sleepers as we in the US know them, they were simply sofas that you could sleep on. Overall, it just didn't feel safe or clean and seemed overpriced.
- Megan (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay! Staff was very helpful and I loved my room.
- Johnny (2/5): A bad place in an area with good alternatives - The place is not well maintained (see pictures), my room was dirty, and the staff was not really friendly. For US $ 100 a night one can find much better in this area. They could not even get the coffee cartridges into my room within 3 days, so the coffee maker was useless. That is all to be said about this disappointing experience. I shortened my stay for these reasons.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not worth it - We booked a suit for 4, there was only one bed, 2 of us had to sleep on sofa (not sofa bed), they even asked us to pay extra for 4 people. Night rate was expensive (>$240), not worth it.
- Stephanie (8/5): Ideal for a couple not for family ith young adults - The only problem encountered was the extra bed. It is only suitable for children. the wooden slabs kept giving away because my son has a big built. After two days we had to remove the bed put the mattress on the floor and sleep. The food was not good either.
- Amar (8/5): - Personnel dévoués
- Nicole (8/5): Convenient & Clean - My Loft Anfa was very convenient for our one night stay. Front desk was very nice and accommodating when checking in and out. Our room had a kitchen sink and a stove top which was a nice option to have. We also had the outdoor patio area that was really cute. The room was generally pretty clean, only downfall was that in the shower the soap handle had a lot of mold and rust build up. Otherwise, everything else was perfect! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Casablanca that's on a budget!
- rachid (8/5): Excellent emplacement et rue très calme. - En centre ville. Personnel accueillant et professionnel. Hotel propre , cadre original.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice place - Stayed in a 1 bedroom unit with small kitchenette. Missed a microwave. 2 spacious decks, but no way to lock or even fully close the doors to them. No other problems. Friendly, English speaking staff.
- caique (10/5): - Muito bom! A cobertura é excelente!
Petits commerces
Propreté
Disponibilité du personnel
- Meche (10/5): Eclectic - Wonderful stay...loved loved the room...exactly as pictured...however staff not very knowledgeable on billing and my car service was not ready to take me to the airport...
- SameerDharkar (6/5): Service Apartment Hotel with limited service - This was our first visit to Morocco & we were looking out for a hotel which would accommodate our family of 3 adults comfortably & with a good location to move around in the city . yes this place served the above purpose , it was a one bedroom , one drawing room with additional bed and sofa , a kitchenette and 2 nice small terraces. while the rooms were nice and spacious with very well maintained and good house keeping service , there was one problem which they could not solve - the in room intercom telephone was not working , so we could never call the front office or house keeping or room service . On day 1 , hot water was not there in the bath and they could fix it only on day 2 . being a purely service apartment hotel it does serve only limited breakfast and u need to have all your other meals outside . the hotel does not have any Gym or other facilities . also note that the hotel does give complimentary 2 bottles of 500 ml water only on Day 1 of your stay , other days you got to buy it . for people who are used to have english breakfast tea will be disappointed as the hotel keeps only local Moroccan & green tea sachet in the room . the only plus point of the hotel is the front office person Miss.Huda , she is an excellent person and was trying to resolve all our issues with always beautiful smile on her face . a very helping person .
- Verified traveler (8/5): - On the Whole, a pleasant stay but the staff at reception didn't really speak English and were not very well informed about local attractions etc. They even forgot our wake-up call on one occasion!
- Verified traveler (8/5): City Hotel for short stay recommended - New hotel, in the city centre. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Warm welcome in the reception when I arrived. They were aware my birthday would be during the stay so upgraded me to a lovely traditional suite - this was a thoughtful and pleasing touch. Room was excellent-comfortable & very clean. The housekeeping/cleaning staff were brilliantly thorough. Small kitchenette in the suite was useful. Bathroom was modern and large
- Sho (10/5): Best selection for getting start travel in Morocco - The stuffs including the owners are super friendly and helpful even though our arrival time is quite late (actually it was midnight ) warmly welcomed us on the lovely first floor of the hotel. We stayed four days in total in the hotel and no negative experiences during the stay.
- David (8/5): Comfy - Very new hotel and new to Travelocity.
Get the breakfast option.
Rooms are very large and bathrooms are great and large.
Very central.
Off the main street.
Since it is a newer hotel they are still working on some kinks....should be just fine when you arrive.
Great value for what you get.
