Broken fixtures, scotch tape on ceiling, from previous party, broken table, scribbling on chair cushion. Pool closed after we used it once, due to poor maintenance. VERY disappointing for our grandson.

- Shar (4/5): Whew…. - I loved the location and its amenities. I didn’t like the housekeeping lady. She was very rude and unprofessional. As a member I asked for a late checkout and unexpectedly had a loss in my family that made my day drag slower. Mind you, I had kids and a baby there where I celebrated the new year with. I didn’t get a chance to do the dishes after we cooked however I did leave them stacked in place for housekeeping to clean. I even tried to clean the room a but because I understand after cooking and a two day stay there was a lot to do. She came in, seen the room and said the room was destroyed. The linen was in one pile for cleaning and dishes had to be done but was not in disarray. That was very rude I took my $40 tip I had for her and exited the building in disgust. Not sure of my return but I already went through a hassle of checking in after issues with the booking company and to go through that was more disgust. I mean ppl dont have to be nice but still..damn, compassion woulda helped. Only person that displayed that was the housemen and the front desk lady I think her name was My?

- Lily (10/5): This hotel was very convient. Metro market is right next door, great breakfast, great staff, and enjoyed the tv. We also - The property was a great location for us since we had family near by. We also enjoyed that there was a metro market right across from the hotel along with a few other restaurants. We would love to use the pool next time but their breakfast was great! They had different breakfast sandwiches and meat options depending on the days! I’ve realized in our rooms the bathrooms weren’t clean upon arriving but it wasn’t a big deal since we cleaned it ourselves. But other than that, everything else was great.

I had so many seperate charges that’s didn’t make sense upon check out - I lived everything about the property it’s actually one of first locks for hotel stays I don’t oil the facts that I was charged multiples times and we couldn’t figure where the charges were coming from

I believe they canceled the reservation to accommodate more people than they had room for because my family did not arrive in town until the evening. I still am not aware if I have been charged for the room that they did not provide for my family. The employee was more concerned about his phone than finding a solution for my wife and daughters. It was not until I had to personally call and put a fire under him and suggest he contact his sister hotel that he did anything to aid in a solution.

The pool needed to close because a group of people left it wet, with towels in the pool, and dirty, and the incident was monitored too late.

- K7970OJvickyt (2/5): Worst ever residence inn hotel experience ever - I booked a one-bedroom suite and a studio from June 28 to July 6 (one for my two sons and one for myself), both non-smoking. When we arrived, the hotel didn’t give me what I booked. Instead, my Marriott Bonvoy app suddenly showed only a studio, and no one bothered to tell me in advance. It was a clear attempt to cover up the fact that they failed to give us the one-bedroom suite I paid for. When I asked about it, the staff tried to tell me that a one-bedroom suite was “the same as a studio” and claimed there were no one-bedroom suites available. It was insulting, as if they thought I was too stupid to know the difference between a studio and a one-bedroom suite. After arguing, the employee promised I could move to a one-bedroom suite on June 30. I emailed the hotel, and no one responded. On June 30, I went to the front desk four separate times to ask about the suite. They lied to me three times that day, telling me I would get a one-bedroom suite. Finally, around 4 PM, they admitted there was never a one-bedroom suite available for me that day at all. Their deceptive behavior and sneaky action of quietly changing my reservation record without my consent are unacceptable. It is clear that they are trying to hide their failure to honor my booking, while continuing to stall and lie to me. Up to now, this issue still has not been resolved.
- Lilly (4/5): - I really wanted to enjoy this property, and by all means the staff did try to make it as good as possible. However there are some serious staffing and management issues that need to be addressed. Additionally there needs to be more accountability in terms of them be forthcoming regarding their current issues. • No internet during the entirety of my stay - Apparently it had gone out over the weekend and could not be fixed. This was not communicated to me in anyway and caused me massive issues considering I was there on a business trip. • Lack of organization and follow up - Multiple times I would request something over the phone or in person and would be told I would get a follow up. None of that ever happened though. • I was without a bathtub drain plug the entire stay despite asking 3 separate days for it. So I was unable to take a bath. • I requested towels on multiple occasions and each time I was told that either they were not ready or they had no one to bring them up to my room. • I waiting over an hour past my checkin time for a room to be available for me. Which granted I was given a free room upgrade which I appreciated. However having to wait in the lobby for “just 5 more minutes” for an hour got very tiresome. • Front desk was very often unattended at night. Meaning I was unable to purchase anything or follow up on any requests. • There was additional issues regarding incorrect booking dates and lack of communication as well.

This is a reincarnation of a previous version in a nearby location that got so run down by poor management and service that it closed. This newer version was much better when it opened, but is now going downhill. Pluses: good value I guess, good location if you need to be north of the city, good sized clean rooms, laundry, fair fitness center. I seem to recall a clock in the room (extra credit points for this - getting sadly rare elsewhere which is terrible). Stone Creek Coffee is across the street - a great place for coffee and snacks like scones and muffins. The service staff is generally good but sometimes spotty. Elevators, a/c for the summer. Minuses: the free breakfasts have significantly degraded since they opened some years ago. Almost not worth it at all (even if free). The only compensating factor is that the rooms have kitchenettes and there is a grocery store nearby. Breakfast isn't that expensive to serve - if they could just not get the cheapest and minimal items and show some care, that would be helpful.

- Redrhino1 (2/5): Go somewhere else - Don’t stay here, the place is under remodel and they never told rain the booking process. They put us in a newly renovated area of the hotel but the room was very dysfunctional. Heater wasn’t working, no water pressure. Caulking and mud in shower and mirrors. The lights didn’t all work in bathroom. After freezing on first night I requested a room change the next day. They couldn’t accommodate on a 4 night stay so I had to tough it out. Breakfast was a joke and they let all the construction crew in to eat with us so very crowded. Avoid it as it feels like operator does bare minimum and has very little concern for guests .

- rsc829 (6/5): Rooms ok, breakfast not so much - For us, great location and it's easy access to highway. Rooms are standard Residence Inn. However, the breakfast is pretty substandard. When this location first opened a few years ago* it was fine. Now, they took away yogurt, no wheat toast (or any toast), the coffee is getting progressively weaker. Good thing the rooms have a fridge and cooktop and microwave and there's grocery store in walking distance. Other issues: asked for extra pillows, which came without pillowcases! And there was only 1 roll of TP in the bathroom. The shower drained very slowly. So, rooms are ok coz the facility is new but management and maintenance feel cheap, even if friendly. Good price though.

From the second Glenda checked us in, she treated us like family! She was welcoming, friendly, knew the rest of our family by the time we got there, tried to accommodate staying near each other and greeted us warmly each time we were in the lobby. At one point, she overheard me sharing with a family member that our room seemed dark and I heard her call over the radio to deliver an additional lamp to our room!!! I didn’t even have to ask! Like, what? As my family and I walked to the elevator to go to our room upon arrival, the sweetest lady from the housekeeping staff warmly welcomed us, wished us a great trip and told us she was happy we were there! And Mika was equally fun and hilarious on the night shift! We looked forward to seeing her when we were in the lobby. Your breakfast area staff were helpful and so accommodating! And the rooms were spacious, clean; and well equipped! Our stay was for a trip of a lifetime and I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else!

- Travel_Meister2 (6/5): Rooms Need Refreshing - Staff was friendly, but rooms need to be renovated. My room was spacious but smelled like the carpet needed cleaning. The furniture was not new. Parking was easy and a few fast food spots were not too far away. Breakfast was standard. Service team was fast to respond to repair requests.

- PrescottP2 (2/5): Unsatisfactory stay; be careful if you use the pool!! - My recent stay at the Marriott Residence Inn was unfortunately far from satisfactory. Several areas of the property were not well-maintained, and my concerns were largely overlooked. First, the state of the pool was appalling. The water was a murky, dark gray color, making it impossible to see beyond a few steps into the pool. This was not just a cosmetic issue; it posed a serious health risk. I raised my concerns with the front desk, who acknowledged the issue but disappointingly took no action to close the pool or address the water quality. To my disbelief, I saw guests swimming in it the next morning. It's deeply concerning that such a blatant disregard for hygiene and guest safety was allowed to continue. Additionally, the cleanliness of the room bathroom left much to be desired. The bathroom had noticeable black mold growing in the shower and along the tiles. It was evident that thorough cleaning and maintenance were lacking in this area. Furthermore, the amenities fell short of expectations. We booked a room with a sofa sleeper for my children, but there were not enough pillows and blankets provided. After requesting additional bedding from the front desk, we were met with uncertainty and eventually received them, albeit with a pillow missing its case. Moreover, the sofa sleeper mattress was uncomfortable, with springs poking through, making it impossible for my kids to get a decent night's sleep. Overall, this stay was incredibly disappointing. My children were looking forward to using the pool, which unfortunately was not an option due to its unsanitary and unsafe conditions. Despite reaching out to Marriott Corporate for assistance, the local management failed to follow up as promised. To add to the frustration, the compensation offered was only partial (I paid with points, and they only reimbursed me half) which reflects poorly on Marriott's commitment to quality and customer support. I regret to say that I cannot recommend this Marriott Residence Inn based on my experience. The issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service are significant and need immediate attention. As a loyal Marriott member, I hope that these concerns are addressed promptly to restore trust and uphold the standards expected of the Marriott brand.
- 60howardm (4/5): Needs some love and attention to details - Great access to area. Located on Freeway. Nice front desk people. Location could use a strong maintenance crew and upgraded Materials for repairing things. Most carpets need to be replaced. Floors are sticky. AC is not optimal. Parking is easy and many easy in/out access points.
- kew0826 (4/5): 2 star max - One of the worst hotels I stayed at this year. They had no water anywhere in the hotel. When you come in late a bottled water is nice. None in the fridges and she didn’t know when it would be in. No cream for coffee in room. Asked front desk and she said she didn’t know what I meant by cream in coffee. Plus side large room but very dated and old.

- Henry (4/5): Cleanliness - Heater vents were very dirty. The carpeting was frayed and worn. On day two AM we requested room servicing and were told we'd get new towels and the bed would be made. It didn't happen. On day three PM we requested new towels which arrived but were slightly damp.
- Susan (8/5): Very nice hotel. - I was very impressed with the hotel. All of the staff were very friendly. The room was very nice and clean. It was probably the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Milwaukee. Breakfast was very good.
- Hanani (4/5): Bad management - They overbooked and downgraded our room for the first night. They changed our itinerary and charged us more than what we supposed to pay. They said they will refund us but I still haven’t gotten the refund yet.

It was like having family take care of you (but better because we stayed here vs staying with MIL). The housekeeping and maintenance people were great with requests. The breakfast offerings were amazing. We will never be staying with my MIL again, we will always stay here going forward. N/A
