Guest Reviews
- Lori (10/5): Away from it all - Brian, the owner, is a wonderful person and a great host. He made sure we saw the sloths, frogs, and dolphins. He got out paddle boards and canoes for everyone's use, and organized for us to go snorkeling and to Zapatilla. Loved the shared dinner table and listening to other people from around the world's adventures. Food was the best. Although we knew ahead of time, the heat at night was uncomfortable. However, the jungle noises were soothing just a couple feet away.

- Marco (10/5): Unique stay in a natural paradise - The best experience, stay and host, really special and unique experience.
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere, a real place, difficult to find it anywhere else in the world. NA
- Emily (10/5): -
- Patrick (10/5): Perfect spot to watch the time slow down. 🐬 - Absolute amazing spot with great and welcoming crew. Food was excellent and Brian very generous. Nothing to say here.
- Carolina (10/5): -
Nuestra estancia a estado genial
- Lazar (10/5): Absolutely recommend! - Brian and the entire team are fantastic at what they do; and create a totally unique and frictionless experience from start to finish. As avid travelers, who rarely make the same stop twice, we’ll absolutely be back!
We hadden fijne gesprekken.
- Danielle (10/5): - De locatie is prachtig. We hadden fijne gesprekken. Niets.
- Mark (10/5): Sounds of the jungle were amazing. - Location and our room were beautiful, Brian and the staff were all very friendly. Brian was very knowledgeable and was an excellent host when taking us out to view Dolphins before dinner and the walking tour through his Jungle Garden which clearly is a labour of love.
- jennifer (10/5): - Beautiful property- loved the location, the house and the pool. Brian took great care of us. This stay was an 11 on a scale of 1-10. We will be back.
Intakte Korallen, so schön..
In unserem Fall zudem vegetarisch.
Macht bitte weiter so.
- Yannik (10/5): - Everything, just a magic Place in the rainforest
Nix...alles bestens.
- Maximiliane (10/5): Wonderful jungle experience!! - Everything! The boattransfers are 50$ each way - keep this in mind. I loved the jungle walk (10$), the most incredible boat tour to see dolphins!!!! Kajaking to the snorkelspot was great. Alle the nice cooked breakfast, lunch, dinner, lemonades! The familiar dinner with other guests from all over the world. Saw so many frogs, an opossum, a caiman, lizards,.. the room was just amazing and it got cleaned every day. We lived to hang out on the outdoor ,,living room“-area. I appreciate the reforesting of that part of the island, that Brian is doing! Thank you for that. -
- Ell1981 (10/5): So Special - A real hidden gem. Brian the owner is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about the jungle and it's animals.
Days can be spent kayaking around the bay finding the abundant amount of dolphins, going on snorkel trips, jungle treks or just sitting by the pool. Beautiful rooms (just 4) and stunning garden amd jungle!
I have never stayed anywhere quite like it and doubt I ever will again. A perfect blend of luxury, homeliness and adventure.
- Gagné (10/5): -
- Bruno (9/5): -
- Kristen (10/5): This was a perfect and amazing stay nestled between the jungle and the ocean! - The property is like a dream: jungle, flowers, hummingbirds, sloths, dolphins! The rooms and buildings are very comfortable, well laid out to enjoy the grounds both by the water and in the trees and have everything you need for a most relaxing stay. Brian and his staff are so welcoming, warm and helpful. The food was delicious! The activities and access to things to do was a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure big and small. Thank you Brian for the best end possible to our Panama trip! Nothing
- Jonathan (10/5): - Amazing place. Brian and his team are fantastic.
- Cristancho (10/5): -
- Robert (10/5): - Brian was a great host. He has a beautiful property and a great staff supporting him! Jose is a man of many talents and his cooking blew us away - amazing 🤩
- Sam (10/5): Full of wildlife and an incredible place to stay. - What an incredible place! I can’t recommend staying here highly enough. The setting is amazing, beautiful gardens and surroundings, overlooking the bay.
I saw such a wide variety of breathtaking wildlife, including sloths, beautiful frogs, birds, butterflies and the local snorkelling was simply stunning. Brian is a fantastic host and has such impressive knowledge of the local flora & fauna. The food is delicious, as well as the cocktails. The staff are all really nice and friendly. I will definitely stay again if I go back to Bocas and strongly recommend anybody with an interest in nature to stay here. Nada
Rien !
- Christian (10/5): Stunning location, warm hospitality, and unforgettable moments. - Not only was the Dolphin Bay Hideaway the most beautiful location we have stayed at in Bocas del Toro, but Brian and his team were also the most welcoming and attentive hosts we have met during our travels. The scenery is breathtaking, surrounded by rich nature and abundant wildlife, and the food was simply outstanding. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches—like early morning coffee, the relaxed atmosphere of just spending time at the Hideaway, and the freedom to shape each day as we wished. Brian is a truly remarkable host: knowledgeable, generous with his time, always ready for a friendly chat, yet never intrusive. We left feeling not only rested and inspired, but also deeply grateful for such an unforgettable experience.
The combination of the stunning location and Brian’s warm, engaging personality created the perfect mix for a memorable stay, leaving us not only rested and inspired, but also deeply grateful for such an unforgettable experience.
If you wonder whether reality can live up to the glowing reviews, imagine it actually surpassing them. Nothing.
- L (9/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): -
Nichts. Es hat uns alles gefallen!
- Kathleen (10/5): A little slice of paradise - Beautiful, quiet and serene escape into nature. My room was slightly bigger than expected, great food, the grounds are beautiful, there's no end of wildlife to watch and Brian is really passionate about regenerating the land. A personal highlight was doing yoga in the pavilion one morning and having a hummingbird hovering over my face during savasana. I'd recommend 3 nights here, as 2 wasn't quite enough. Nothing - perfection
- Berjan (9/5): Superb - The food and location was amazing. The staff was very friendly and made sure we were not lacking anything.
- Aitor (10/5): All really nice - Very nice location and surroundings, nice activities around to do. The kitchen is very good and all the personal as well.
- Leslie (10/5): A must place to stay!,, - Incredible magical place with the best hospitality, food and location with dolphins actually swimming in front of the pier.
Brian provided everything and more to help make our stay the best it could possibly be! at dinner we met the most amazing people from other parts of the world. A beautiful experience overall! We even had massages while we were there on the property. The staff are some of the friendliest we encountered on our 2-month travel journey. This is a must for anyone traveling to Panama. Thank you Brian and team for everything! We hope to return someday but have so many countries to explore Everything was perfect!
- Elizabeth (10/5): Amazing week at Dolphin Bay Hideaway - Brian and his staff provide an amazing vacation experience! This eco-lodge is very small (5 rooms) which allows them to provide very personalized service. You do not need to plan your activities in advance, Brian will ask you over breakfast "what do you feel like doing today?' and whether you want to snorkel, or go to a nearby beach, take a nature walk in jungle or take a kayak out in bay, the staff will help coordinate everything for you. you can also just hang out on the huge porch and relax and read or play games with a lovely view of the bay. The food is amazing with great variety and lots of fresh produce from the area. Several pods of dolphins regularly visit the bay and are fun to view from a kayak or boat. And you can see sloths, monkeys, tree, frogs, rays, and many birds everyday. If you like off the beaten path vacations in a beautiful nature setting then this is your lodge. We highly recommend DBH!
- David (10/5): Nice stay in Nice place - Very nice place, VERY quiet, charming, very good cooking, you better speak English or Spanish. Perfect place to stay 2-4 days. No need to go fareway on Zapatilla...
- Swati (9/5): Perfect getaway in Bocas Del Toro. - So much wonderful wildlife on/near the property: dolphins, sloths, poison dart frogs, birds. Brian took us out on a boat in the evenings to go dolphin watching in the bay. It was easy to coordinate excursions to area attractions with pick up and drop off right a Dolphin Bay Hideaway. Beds were comfortable and they had plenty of fans to help cool things down. There were comfy places to hang out and read and the vegan options for meals were very nice. Really nothing. It was lovely.
- Sanne (10/5): We absolutely loved our stay at Dolphin Bay Hideaway! 10/10 - The excellent service (thanks a lot Brian & team!), the great food, the beautiful location of the hotel, the available tours
- Nancy (10/5): Would absolutely return! - Our experience at Dolphin Bay Hideaway cannot be beat. A few highlights.
1. The grounds/lodge. The grounds are beautiful. Very well taken care of without looking too manicured. It was wild beauty. We booked the Island room. It was a good size and came with small organizational areas for luggage and putting items away. The bed was comfortable and had two fans attached to it. There was also a floor fan to point at the bed to help stay cool. We went in February, so it wasn't too hot. The bay is also beautiful. I get seasick easily but could swim in the bay without issue. It's like a saltwater pool. I kayaked out into it with my son without any worry.
2. Meeting other guests. The lodge is small and intimate. Everyone eats together around a large table. You also meet the other guests on occasional excursions. It strikes the perfect balance between privacy and community. On our trip, we met people from Germany, the midwest USA, and NYC.
3. The service. Brian is phenomenal. He's a great host, and strives to make sure that you can have the experience you want. My son loves to fish, and Brian arranged an afternoon outing for my son to experience how the locals do it (trawl fishing). It was different from anything my son had experienced before (we are from the northeast USA so fish primarily with rods). Even though the fish weren't biting for him, our guide caught a few fish, and the novelty of it all led my son to list this fishing excursion as the highlight of the whole trip.
If you dislike the sterility hotels and loved the backpacking/hostel community in your youth, but are old enough now to appreciate a nicely appointed room with amenities - Dolphin Bay sits in that intersection. Nice rooms. Beautiful lodge. Beautiful grounds. Beautiful location. Community and warmth. A lot of lunches were "out." In the sense that we'd take a boat out to eat. This is not a criticism and more of a lack of knowledge. It's pretty isolated so there's nowhere else to eat if the kitchen isn't open for lunch, and you can't get anywhere without hopping into a motorboat. If we were to revisit, I'd pack some instant ramen for those days when I didn't want to be on a boat and just wanted to sit around the lodge and do nothing. That being said, the places we were taken for lunch were delicious, especially Deja Vu Cafe.
- Lucy (10/5): A jewel of a place - Dolphin Bay Hideaway is a little gem tucked away in a beautiful mangrove-lined bay where Dolphins hang out (yes they really do) and surrounded by its very own rainforest that the owners have worked tirelessly to regenerate. This is the perfect place if you want to get off the beaten track, relax, eat delicious food (and drink amazing cocktails), in beautiful surroundings, with lots of options for swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking straight from the dock, or boat-ride excursions, such as snorkelling or visiting palm fringed beaches (deserted if you get up early). Brian is a warm and welcoming host and had thought of everything to make our stay a special one. Nothing. Everything was wonderful
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - Un véritable paradis
We wish we would have stayed longer !!
Thanks so much Brian for the jungle tour, the boat tour with dolphins and the sloth adventure 🦥
The food is delicious 🤤
- Peter (10/5): Wonderful. -
- Johanna (10/5): fantastic! - Thank you Brian and your lovely Team!
I had chosen the accommodation with high expectations from home in Germany (cold and gray in February) and was really looking forward to it. My expectations were even exceeded: Brian's hideaway is enchanting: it is quiet, the garden and forest and rooms are lovingly and tastefully designed in every respect, the food is incredibly delicious, Brian and his team are extremely attentive, caring and kind and the rooms and all communal areas are super clean. The tolerant, loving approach of Brian and his team is not only evident in their hospitality, but also manifests itself in nature. They are reforesting the existing forest and focusing on diversity and naturalness; the renaturation will bring back animals, and they also rescue wild animals kept as pets. The fact that they are saving areas of nature and networking with neighbors brings hope and confidence and I can definitely recommend a stay at Dolphinbay Hideaway (yes, you will see dolphins :-)). nada.
- Louise (10/5): Don’t want to leave - The location is a perfect place to unwind. Bryan and the staff are perfect hosts. The food is generous and flavoursome. Free use of paddle boards and kayaks are a lovely bonus and daily dolphin sightings make it a wonderful place to stay. If you come try Bryan’s signature passionfruit daiquiri- yum! Nothing
- Jorge (10/5): Paradise ! - This place is truly a hidden paradise on Earth, but what makes it even more special is Bryan and his incredible team. They are the perfect hosts, with a wonderful way of making you feel taken care of and ensuring you enjoy every moment here. We even extended our stay because we just didn’t want to leave! They’ve done an amazing job transforming this place into such a paradise. Don’t miss the chance to spend time with Bryan – he’s like a walking encyclopedia, full of knowledge and stories. The room was beautiful, spotless, and everything was designed to make you feel like you're in heaven. And the food? Absolutely delicious – a true treat! C’était un régal. Thank you again for this unforgettable experience. We will dream of returning one day! Nothing!
- Karin (10/5): A Special Hideaway - Absolutely loved Dolphin Bay Hideaway! The atmosphere and staff were amazing. Amy and Brian really made us feel welcomed, and it will be a place we will always remember.
JA's food was outstanding!
Brian's nature walk and evening boat cruise were highlights of our stay.
Dolphin Bay Hideaway far exceeded our expectations. Liked everything.
- Rachel (10/5): A magical place to visit - Such a wonderful piece of paradise. We loved staying here, welcoming and friendly, wonderful food and great location. We enjoyed a wildlife walk in the surrounding jungle, seeing lots including a couple of sloths. We also went kayaking and saw coral and starfish….but the stand out activity was a sunset boat trip to see the dolphins, something that will stay with us for a long time N/A
- Federico (10/5): Heaven on earth - Dolphin bay hideaway is like heaven on the earth
The location is really relaxing and immerse in the nature
Brian is super and making you comfortable at the best
The staff helping Brian is perfect; food is great with local organic fresh ingredients
To go to Bocas, this location is the best Casa de piedra, where we were based, is under renewal so not 100% same level than the main house
- Melanie (9/5): Special place for dolphin lovers - Fabulous location tucked into a bay 20 minutes away (by boat) from the more visited areas in Bocas, surrounded by trees, mangroves, sloths, birds, butterflies and DOLPHINS galore!! Stylish rooms, comfy beds + superb meals, large decks to enjoy calm ocean views, + free use of paddleboards and kayaks = 3 days of paradise. Very boutique experience with only 4-5 rooms. Hosts have made major replanting efforts on surrounding land (where they guide guests on an informative easy hike) and have a strong relationship with the adjacent village. Kudos. Those not accustomed to heat may find it hard sleeping, as the rooms can stay warm all night (no AC). If you don't want full board package, bring some food along as there are practically no options in the area. Hosts were accommodating about stowing stuff in their fridge/using kitchen gear. Visibility underwater was low in the bay during our stay, so snorkeling was better on nearby islands that are accessible by a short boat ride.
- Lisa (10/5): special stay at dolphin bay - a special eco-lodge on a beautiful island. Beginning with the boat pickup in Bocas, a picturesque ride across to the lodge it was beautiful!! the owner was an amazing tour guide as he described the property. His knowledge of the fauna and other things we came across (insects, bugs, sloth, etc) teaching us about the area was very interesting.
the food, all prepared on site, was delicious! anything we needed was provided. the room was spacious and clean. It is quite warm here and humid so you need to be ok without AC.
- Havovi (10/5): Felt like visiting a dear friend in Paradise - Host - Brian shared his knowledge of the jungle and his work to remediate and plant native species. The lodge is a paradise with beautiful gardens and birds. The meals were delicious and created with care and the presentation was impressive. Take bug spray
- Harrisson (10/5): Was this a dream? - Dolphin Bay Hideaway is the perfect name for this hidden gem. If you’re seeking an escape on a remote island in Bocas del Toro, nestled in the middle of a lush mangrove forest with breathtaking views of the bay, look no further. From the deck, you’ll spot dolphins jumping during every meal. Grab a kayak at sunrise or sunset for a closer look – it’s truly magical.
The service provided by Brian, JA, and Potin was exceptional. Their dedication and care to ensure every guest’s needs are met is unparalleled. Brian’s deep knowledge and care for the local flora and fauna enriched the experience, and they were always attentive, creating a homey yet adventurous atmosphere.
The food was balanced, fresh, and delicious, making every meal as enjoyable as the company. This is a place that truly takes you away from it all – but be warned, if you’re looking for a sanitized resort experience or the convenience of a shopping mall, this is not the place for you.
Anyone who cannot appreciate the beauty and serenity of this place does not deserve it. I will absolutely return. This is a stay I will never forget. Nada
- Matthias (10/5): Unique - The location is amazing . You can kayak with the dolphins every time you like directly from the hideaway . A unique place and the host Brian makes this accommodation even more unique !
- Laura (10/5): A piece of heaven in Bocas - Dolphin Bay Hideaway is a piece of heaven on earth! It’s the perfect place if you’re looking to connect with nature and enjoy calmness and the beauty of Dolphin Bay. Brian and his team have been exceptional providing everything we needed and beyond. We enjoyed our hiking across the area looking for sloths, discovering plants, frogs and birds, as well as our snorkeling and kayaking around the bay. We saw dolphins every single day we were there, watching them jumping and be playful from the main deck. Looking forward to coming back! Nothing!
- David (10/5): A tropical garden of Eden - The highlight of our trip to Panamá. The location is simply spectacular: set in a gorgeous, colorful garden, surrounded by jungle and with beautiful views of the bay from the rooms and upstairs dining area.
The waters were super calm, clear (snorkeling was excellent) and - best of all - teeming with dolphins.
The rooms are spotlessly clean and have all the amenities you could possibly need. Staff is super friendly. Meals are copious and delicious.
The owner, Brian, is the nicest of guys and went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as he possibly could. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the local fauna and flora: a true community minded ecologist and a lover of good music and excellent cocktail maker to boot.
Thanks again for a truly memorable couple of days Brian!
- Ariane (10/5): Like backpacking, but for grown-ups - unique & highly recommendef - Outstanding experience in a very familial setting; there are rooms for only up to 11 guests and Brian and his staff do an extraordinary job in making this a special stay. Besides Brian & staff the key is the shared veranda. If you can choose, go for the upper rooms (more light)
- Ben (10/5): Everything you could wish for and more! - It's difficult to put in to words just how much we enjoyed our extraordinary and very special stay here, however, it might explain our experience if I say that we originally stayed in the bungalow, which is set apart from the main accommodation, for 4 nights and then changed our already complicated travel plans so we could come back for another 3 nights at the end of our holiday. Brian, Amy and AJ (who came to expertly cook for us) couldn't have been kinder or more helpful - patiently helping us with travel plans and day to day organisation for a family of 5. Highlights were the secret snorkeling spots, a fantastic Easter meal, phosphorescent water at night, a forest walk with sloths and a trip to Zapatilla island with leaping dolphins accompanying us home. Nothing!
- Kate (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): One of our most memorable holidays thanks to the place and Brian and Amey and their staff running it - Dolphin Bay Hideaway is absolutely lovely. We stayed at Casa Piedra which is a detached villa some 10 minutes walk away (through a jungle path) or a 5 minutes boat ride from the main lodge. Lots of room, views over the bay, a fully functioning kitchen, gardens and direct access to the private jetty with paddle boards and kayaks. We had our own chef, AJ, who came over from the lodge each day to prepare breakfast and dinner using provisions he'd brought over from Bocas Town.
It was a delight staying at Casa Piedra from start to finish.
The owners, Brian and Amey, made us feel very much at home and nothing was too much trouble. Brian is full of knowledge about the area, the flora and fauna, and the way of life and organised a number of trips for us. Amey invited us to join them and other guests for a lovely dinner at the lodge on our last night.
We were sorry to leave. If we are fortunate enough to visit the area again, this is where we would want to stay. That we were unable to stay longer!
- Niki (10/5): Idyllic - A slice of paradise with wonderful hosts, personalized care and great tours to explore the area. So much appreciated the efforts towards conservation and community engagement. An ideal place to disconnect and relax. everything was great -no complaints whatsoever
- Guy (10/5): - Dolphin Bay Hideaway is an experience in natural Panamanian beauty. The tour will immerse you in the flora and fauna this island has to offer. Meals are much like dining at that friends house that is the ultimate host. Kayak with the dolphins, then take an adventure to one or more of the neighbouring islands in this beautiful archipelago.
The eco resort experience is about natural simplicity, not hotel luxury. Adventurous types will love it.
- Marlene (10/5): If you want to get away from the noise and craziness of Bocas this is the the place for you. - The food was delicious and good variety. Brian’s knowledge of the forest made our hikes so interesting. We saw sloths, monkeys and also dolphins all on a from their beautiful property.I loved all the different areas where you could relax with nice comfy furniture. The bed was also very comfortable. You can swim off the dock but not the best.
- Wendy (10/5): Just perfect! - Brian and Amy truly made us feel as if we were family returning for a visit, rather than first-time guests. They did everything possible to make sure our stay was what we hoped it would be. Highly recommend doing a nature walk with Brian. The meals were excellent and we had a great time with the other guests around the table. A very relaxing stay!
- Elysa (10/5): Is it possible to give an 11? - What an amazing place! A real hideaway in the nature. Brian is so kind and authentic, he does everything to make sure his guests have a great time. Amy cooks the most amazing meals, super delicious! It was great to get to know them, and get to know the other guests.
This was the highlight of our trip to Panama. Nothing
- Chris (10/5): Chill, eat and enjoy the nature! - What can we say about Dolphin Bay Hideaway that hasn’t already been written!?
Brian and Amy are doing amazing work hosting guest and running a nature sanctuary. Brian’s infectious knowledge and passion for this conservation work is a must see. And Amy’s hospitality, drinks and welcoming is the perfect compliment.
Kayak with the dolphins, go in one of Brian’s walks and eat their delicious food. What more do you need. The hot water can be a bit intermittent and be prepared for no AC - they do have fans and dehumidifier - but it can be quite a sticky night.
- Maarten (10/5): Amazing place! - Had an amazing time here! Best place we stayed at during our trip in Panama and Costa Rica. We took a walk in their garden with Brian where he showed us sloths and frogs that have all the colors you can think of and he showed us the reforestation project they are doing there with a lot of passion. Great to see!
Amy made sure we started and ended the day in the best way possible with an amazing breakfast and dinner.
Almost forgot to mention their place is located in Dolphin bay. We grabbed a canoe one morning and within minutes ran into a school of dolphins that were swimming around and under our canoe.
If you have the time, definitely go and stay here!
- Noah (10/5): Dolphin Bay doesn't disappoint. - Beautiful place with great hosts and delicious food.
- Geoffrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ihw (10/5): perfect holiday away from the crowds, in harmony with nature - Right place for spending fantastic holidays away from the crowds of Bocas del Toro. Nice, colorful clean rooms, view over the bay where you can see dolphins jumping. Brian and Amy are just marvelous hosts that offer very interesting tours (snorkeling, dolphin spotting etc.) at fair prices and excellent food (on a long table with the other guests). It is not only called Dolphin Bay, there are really a lot of those noble creatures, apart from sloths, frogs, humming birds etc. Highly recommendable if you look for sustainable tourism (no plastic, renewable energy and careful usage of water). nothing ;)
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional - We really loved our stay in Dolphin Bay Hideaway. It's one of the most beautyful places we ever visited. Brian and Amy are great hosts. The food was absolutly amazing (the best we eated in our on month stay in Panama). Brian took us on two jungle walks where we saw a lot of different plants and animals. The room was really nice with a comfortable bed and lovely equiped with everything you could possibly need like beach towels, bottles for drinking water, a dry bag and beach bag... Additionally they have kayaks, a kanu and paddleboards that you can use for free. We could go out in the bay with the canu and paddle with the dolphin wich was an amazing expierience. We are really happy that we stayed there and would recomend it a lot! Thank you for your amazing work! Absolutly nothing!
- Fabian (10/5): Very unique accomodation with 2 sensational hosts - Evertyhing was just brilliant.
Amy and Brian are everything you could ask for from a host. You feel welcome the minute you arrive. We will never forget this experience and highly recommend anyone to come to this wonderful place on earth. Nothing to complain.
- Laura (10/5): Great place - This place is really amazing for everyone who wants to get away from the touristy places and experience something extraordinary. In short: it’s great!!! -
- Kathleen (10/5): Wonderful stay at this unique property - attentive owners and staff with breathtaking views. - Wonderful owners and staff. Loved the home in stunning location. Screened deck was amazing! We ate all of our meals there. Great added value to include use of kayaks and paddleboards. More fans or one room with air conditioning would have made for more comfortable sleeping.
- Rob (9/5): The stay and environment were absolutely wonderful. HIGHLY recommend - Brian and Amy as well as their team were awesome. Like being in the Garden of Eden with Breakfast and Dinner every night. Mosquitoes
- Alzbeta (8/5): Very good - The hosts are very helpful, they are trying to the maximum for your comfort. The place is really hidden in the mangroves, you can see the bioluminiscence from the peer! We were not much comfortable with the fact that you do not know what is served for breakfast or dinner before, and you do not have any other options there (no other restaurants, no choice). Also the swimming pool was out of order which was uncomfortable for us as the water in the mangroves is not to everyone's liking.
- Julia (10/5): This hotel is beautiful, small and very welcoming. A lovely place to chill. Excellent trips out. - We liked everything about this property. The rooms, the views, the wildlife, the food, the owners, and their amazing staff team. There wasn’t anything not to like. For us it was perfect.
- Ariana (10/5): The best trip we ever had! Brian and Amy created a hidden spot in paradise and share it with their guests very dearly. H -
- Elzbieta (10/5): Outstanding - Outstanding owners and staff. We have been helped every step of the way. Individual approach, so much personal attention given to us. We felt very special and taken care off. Various tours offered so you never get bored. Amazing food and drinks. You find yourself in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by pure nature, which turns out to be an exact place you should have been. Brian and Amy our respect for all that you're doing, hope to see you again! As you are so far from civilization, you should realize the only way to get there is with water taxi, so you can not be that independent traveler. Fortunately, Dolphin Bay has kayaks and their own boats to take you any direction if asked.
- Antje (10/5): Paradise - It is a true paradise. You stay in a Bungalow surrounded by tropical plants. There are dolphins in the bay and you always can just put akyak. You will get served amazing food. All people who work there are amazing. There are interesting tours you don't want to miss.
- stanton (10/5): - Amy and Brian are great hosts! Beautifully nestled in a jungle setting on a calm bay. Brian gave us a personal tour of the property and showed us the good work he is doing to maintain and rehab the jungle’s flora and fauna! Had a great snorkel experience. Very peaceful and relaxing! Food was great! Highly recommend!
- Olivier (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wahl (10/5): I will definitely be back and send friends. - Super hosts, fantastic location and food! Brian’s knowledge of plants and animals is amazing! They have also done so much to preserve and restore the native surroundings. Look no further for a lovely place to stay. Nothing
- Ben (9/5): We were a little apprehensive about how we were going to get from the airport in Boca Town to Dolphin Bay Hideaway. But, - The location was perfect. It is about a 20-30 min boat ride from Boca town. All the islands, snorkeling, dolphin and wildlife sightings we all within east reach. It was quiet and relaxing. At night the lack of light pollution resulted in a star show of a lifetime!
- Joan (10/5): Exceptional - Kayak into the bay and dolphins all around us. Saw Sloths, even one with twins. Relaxing, hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. Food was excellent.
- Ilenja (10/5): Exceptional - super friendly staff, the place is perfect to chill and relax, and Brian and Amy are running the place in a super eco friendly way, and we have loved that!
