• Michelle (8/5): A beautifully equipped and located apartment in San Sebastian. - This is a great apartment for a weekend in San Sebastian. The apartment is very very well equipped and is finished to a high specification. The location is also excellent, in the area of Gros, there are cafe's, bars and shops in the immediate vicinity, the beach is within 5 minutes and the old town within 10 minutes, it was also very good value for money. The situation for check-in and arrival with the keys needs to be reconsidered and reviewed, it is very convoluted, unreliable and caused quite a lot of stress on our arrival day (with people arriving at different times). You have to use a link on your phone to access the main front door; however, this link doesn't always work, doesn't load or connect, leaving people stranded outside or having to ring another apartment for access. The company are always available; however, they don't work via WhatsApp, meaning if you only have a data plan you cannot call them without incurring charges on your phone bill. I suggest having a physical key in a key box somewhere or a physical check-in with a person.

• NOELLE (10/5): wonderful day with the family of six. Everyone had space and slept comfortably. - Great location and very comfortable and spacious apartment everything was great, but I wish there was some coffee when we arrive. No problem, we went to the market. But we brought the wrong coffee and we left it for them.

• Philip (9/5): Had a great experience and would recommend the apartment. - Excellent customer service, with quick responses to all queries. Apartment had all the facilities we needed. Superb location near the beaches and shops. The walls are quite thin so the noises from the neighbours in the apartment building can travel. The first apartment access via the app is quite tricky, but the staff are very helpful in resolving this. The water temperature in the showers can be temperamental.

• Nora (9/5): Overall our stay was fabulous and the staff of Colon by Free Rentals are so helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our - The location of the property was fabulous. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The facilities were great too. Showers were spacious and enough hot water for 5 of us to have showers. Towels in every room, no air conditioning but fans were provided in each room and they worked a treat in the hot weather. Toaster, fridge etc…if you want to cook yourself. The only issue we had was the kitchen chairs. Very uncomfortable and actually a little bit dangerous as they’re made of this hard wire. As a group of friends on holidays together, we tend to sit together in the mornings for breakfast and then the evenings for some chats and laughs. One of my friends nearly fell off the chair when they leaned back in it as they’re not very strong. (It also may have been damaged previously, not sure) Then the wire parts dig into your thighs and legs if you’re wearing shorts etc. They definitely need to be upgraded before someone has an accident on one. Also the lock on the front door is very hard to open with a key. It takes ages to get it open, you have to fiddle with it abit. I’d say it’s just from time and so many people coming in and out. Otherwise have no other complaints.
