• Pauline (7/5): Central och hemtrevlig lägenhet - Supercentralt läge för shopping. Fin, rymlig lägenhet och hemtrevlig. Fanns både micro, brödrost, kylskåp och vattenkokare, så man kunde lätt ordna egen frukost (fast vi hade inkluderat). Frukosten beställde vi upp på rummet, helt okej utbud. Jättetrevlig och hjälpsam personal. Även restaurangen är bra, med bra utbud av mat. Vi fick först en lägenhet som stank av cigarettrök. Inne i rummet fanns ett typ spelbord, och inuti den var det fullt av cigarettfimpar, så verkligen inte trevligt. Men vi bad att få byta rum och det gick jättebra. Det står överallt på hotellet att det är rökförbud men hotellrummen är ändå försedda med askfat. Poolen är en pool, inget mer. Finns inga solstolar och det är precis bredvid restaurangen, så man vill inte precis gå runt i badkläder där.

• Donna (4/5): Fine for a night - Spacious - large apartment with good range of facilities. Air con was good. Smelt very strongly of cigarettes. Blinds were broken. Very very tired and run down. We were knocked up at midnight by the staff to pay the bill as we were leaving early. We had made this clear when we checked in and had assumed we could pay on departure.

• Avni (8/5): Spacious and comfortable apartment and noisy from the rooftop bar - We loved the spacious property, rooms and bathrooms were good sizes and the location was ideal You could hear the karaoke from the bar upstairs well into the early hours of the morning. Being mindful of residents and the events on the rooftop should be taken into consideration
• Tomáš (7/5): Bazén na střeše do 15h., při check-inu ve 14h. prakticky nevyužitelné. Jinak je ubytování nádherné, toto mu ale hodně ub - Ubytování je nádherné, měli jsme apartmán, tři ložnice, patrový, v 6. patře. Krásné pokoje, hodně místa, velmi velkorysé ubytování, každý svou koupelnu, velká prostorná kuchyň. K dispozici pračka. Personál se stará. Snídaně na pokoj. Velmi milý recepční. To, že nikde není zřetelně uvedeno, že je bazén přístupný pouze do 15h., což prakticky při jednodenním pobytu znemožňuje do bazénu jít. Byl to jeden z faktorů, kvůli kterému jsem hotel vybrala, a to bylo velké zklamání. Při pobytu na jednu noc bazén nejspíš málokdo využije. A druhý faktor - hotel absolutně neřeší noční klid. Pod námi si partička Korejců udělala mejdan, celou noc pouštěli nahlas hudbu. Vůbec jsme se nevyspali. Za toto hotel jako takový nemůže, ale doporučila bych, důrazně, uvést nějaká pravidla ohledně nočního klidu. Nejsme žádní puritáni, ale do hotelu se jedeme vyspat. Hudba hrála ještě v 9h ráno a to celou noc. Nechápu to!
• PRATIBHA (9/5): Excellent stay for family or group of friends. - Rooms were good with balconies. Bathrooms were great. Though we didn't give the keys, Room Service cleaned up the rooms and topped up the tea and coffee sachets. The apartment had everything we didn't have to ask for anything. On the first day we were there evening tea and coffee itself was slow in the restruant. So the next day for breakfast half of us came 15 minutes early and ordered for all of us but still ended up waiting a long time. The day after we went out for breakfast. We did not try the rooftop restruant for lunch or dinner.

Good for families. - The place had great air con, good large spaces, a fully stocked kitchen and a washing machine which came in handy as we were on the road. The managers and staff were kind and very helpful. The pool felt a bit out of bounds because it's placement. This was no big deal but if we had planned an evening dip after our day out, it would have been disappointing

The apartments itself came with whatever you nee - Stayed for the day while passing through Colombo on my birthday. The staff were nice - Riyaz especially was very friendly and helpful - they went as far as sending a cake to the room as they realised my date of birth on my ID! Pleasantly surprised by this. Not much to complain about but perhaps it could have been a little bit cleaner. Again, can’t complain too much about this as most other areas were covered!

Swimming pool was in the restaurant bar area so not very personal. The noise from the roof top bar kept us awake at night. We vacated early.

The answer is no, there are nicer places in Sri Lanka for the price we paid - It was ok, people were easy to communicate with online, face to face was difficult. Place was clean, beds were comfortable Needs some love and attention, broken cupboard door and stained furniture is easy to fix, attention to detail is missing. Location was a little out, not much near by, need a tuk tuk to travel to liberty plaza, nothing is walk distance away.

It's very rare to get a clean and nice apartment like Roccoco residence. The receptionist ( gentleman) is very good and helpful. The security and housekeeping were really nice . • Syed (8/5): Very good - The apartments are great, very spacious and well furnished. Very clean and have decent views from the balcony. Very good value for money. Very well located as well, right in the heart of Colombo (with every thing relatively close by). Please beware that there is a rooftop bar/club in this Residence, which is great if you want to party, but terrible if you are here with family and just want to have a good night's sleep because you will hear the music until late at night (especially) if you have a higher floor. Also, i had booked a breakfast included stay at the property, however, there was no breakfast available for us in the morning and we were told that we have to inform reception that we want breakfast the day before (which seemed kind of pointless to me, especially if you have booked a room with breakfast). The staff did give us a refund for the breakfast though.

• Aslam (8/5): Specious 3 Bed Appartment, very good for a family stay. - We were saying in a 3 Bed apartment, which is a spacious and well-designed 3-bedroom apartment with a pleasant layout. The amiable and cooperative staff at the property have been highly accommodating throughout the process, ensuring a seamless experience. Moreover, the apartment's prime location in close proximity to Colombo city centre provides the utmost convenience and accessibility to various amenities and services. We didn't like the pool, which is fairly small and with a bar. Never use in our stay.

Rococo Residence seemed a bit expensive to us but it turned out to be worth every Rupee. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Our apartment was flawless. This is just a place where everything works! And Oh, that smile of the receptionist!
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Arranged a driver to take us to Galle for the day, also taxi to airport. Hailed metered tuk tuks whenever we needed them and advised on the purchase of train tickets to Kandy. Rooftop pool was larger than expected and such a bonus. 2 bed apartment was perfect and much larger than it looked in the photos. Central location was very convenient with supermarket round the corner. Didn’t have a chance to sample their restaurant. Free bottled water each day was very useful.

It worked really well having the space of an apartment for the 4 of us and the rooftop pool was an added bonus. This is an excellent place to base yourself to do Colombo and trips further afield. We hired a driver for the day and visited Galle stopping off on the way to visit the Tsunami museum at Telewatte.

We picked a winner. Our apartment was fantastic - spacious, clean and quiet. Colombo is a noisy, chaotic city and Rococo Residence was an oasis, ensuring we had a great time with great memories. The staff were warm and friendly and catered to our requests without hesitation. Rococo is only a few months old so everything is in great shape. It’s in a great location with the CBD close by as well as other attractions. We also stumbled across an old war memorial to Commonwealth soldiers which made us feel more connected to the area. We would have no hesitation in recommending Rococo Residence as a fabulous place to stay.
