Julia (10/5): Fabulous base to explore Pico! - After a long flight delay, we had a wonderful few days here - the perfect base to explore Pico. The place as everything you need for comfort. It was nice not having a TV! Fabulous views over the bay. Laura was the perfect host and helped us have the best time on Pico. Nothing!

Danijel (10/5): - The apartment is a cosy place with a well-equipped kitchen and stunning views of the island of Sao Jorge, and Laura is a wonderful host that took care of us even before we arrived! She sent us detailed instructions how to get to the house and where to buy groceries (which were very helfpul as Google Maps are not very accurate on Pico!), and after we arrived, she was always ready to provide advice and help. You could say she was the best part of the whole island of Pico :)

The house was spacious and very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. Laura was incredibly helpful and always responded to our questions with a smile. A nice place to rest and enjoy the landscape and sea views of Pico Island. We only stayed for 2 nights but we realise that it's a place to stay longer.

Beautifully decorated with all that is needed for a several days stay. Very good stable and fast internet. Laura the owner is very passionate about her property and Azores. She was really fantastic and helped a lot in providing very valuable tips. The property has amazing views over the neighbour islands. Is located in a very quite place surrounded by nature. Idilic. Well I scheduled my trip last minute and was not aware that most of stay (2 week workdays) were landing on top of city / island holidays. It was fun and in the end a very good experience to mingle with the festivities, but I could have done more in those days had I had planned differently.

That is how much I liked it ...there is so much to say about all the details that make this property as a top notch one ...but I have limited space here . Not to mention the host ...an encyclopedia of knowledge about the island its locations and its people .....the professionality of the host STARTS way before you even arrive. She will be available for any questions or doubts way before you arrive ...and she will continue to make sure that you have everything you need till the end of your stay . She has designed the property from the point of view of an experienced traveler as she is ( and I might add in good taste ) .... both the apartments ( a small one and a much larger one ) have been remodeled and designed with great taste and both units will have just about all the items you might need to make your stay comfortable. The place and the location are beautiful ...( if you like quiet and beautiful) the only thing outside anyone s control in this equation is the weather ...... nothing ......

Thomas (10/5): Areias da Prainha - Beautiful houses in a rural setting. I rented the apartment downstairs. It has a great little kitchen and a comfortable bedroom. The patio has stunning views of Sao Jorge Island, and when you look up at night all you see is stars. Peaceful setting. The owner, Laura, is kind and welcoming. She'll tell you all about the restaurants and sites to see on the island. She loves Pico, and you will, too!!
