The area felt safe (great bonus). Paulo was attentive and helpful, ensuring I had the best experience on the island during the low season. Since I don’t have a driving license, his recommendations for places to visit and guidance on transportation were handy.

Guests at the hostel are polite and considerate of others. Staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to store my suitcase easily, and while I didn't utilize it, there is an efficient communication system to provide rides from the airport to the hostel. Staff are incredibly accommodating and kind. There was a simple yet wide selection of breakfast items. The dining area was well organized and clean. Hostel staff was quick to provide additional items upon asking.

I don’t normally stay at hostels, but this experience was great, and opened me up to the idea of staying in more hostels in the future. I really appreciate the option for a female only dorm. The bed was comfortable, and the facilities were very clean. Breakfast in the morning is free and had bread, yogurt, cheese, juice, coffee, fruits. Paolo let me leave my luggage for the whole day since my flight was late at night for only a few euros. Highly recommend! N/A

Relativamente à taxa de turismo, mais valia estar incluída no preço aquando da reserva do que a pessoa ser surpreendida depois de já não contar ter de pagar mais nada.

Personnel très gentil et qui ont accepté notre changement. Merci à Paolo et sa collègue. Nous avons changé notre réservation pour une suite qui a comblé nos attentes parce que l'auberge jeunesse ne nous convenait absolument pas en raison de l'absence de stationnement et des toilettes communes
• Andrzej (10/5): - Właściciel Paulo jest bardzo przyjazny i pomocny. Do dyspozycji w pokoju jest autorski folder z trasami po wyspie oraz mapa. Dodatkowo Paulo objaśnił kiedy i gdzie jechać. Służy pomocą w zamówieniu taxi czy wynajęciu samochodu. To był mój drugi pobyt w Passal Hostel i rekomenduję go innym. Nowe apartamenty 800 m od głównego budynku są komfortowe, ładnie i dobrze wyposażone. Przed każdym wejściem 2 miejsca do parkowania dla gości.
• Anzhela (9/5): Excellent location, good value for money, wonderful staff :) - I enjoyed my stay at Passal Hostel. The owner, Paolo was wonderful, friendly and very helpful. The facilities were clean and the breakfast a plus. The value for the the stay and the location was good as well. Towels were charged extra. It would make sense one-towel to be given at the beginning of the stay.

• Jitřenka jnn (9/5): - Hostel byl čistý, každý měl na pokoji soukromí, čisté bylo i sociální zařízení. Snídaně byla jednoduchá, ale chutná. Hostelu bychom nic nechtěli vytknout, ale hosté se mnohdy nechovali v nočních hodinách ohleduplě k druhým, bouchali dveřmi a byli hluční.
• Anna (10/5): Pobyt bardzo udany. - Obiekt był bardzo czysty. Lokalizacja - super. Objaśnienia, co do meldunku - bardzo klarowne i podane z wyprzedzeniem. Śniadania wystarczające i dobre.
• Jitřenka jnn (9/5): - Každý člověk měl díky posteli se závěsem, lampičkou a zásuvkou naprosté soukromí. K tomu ještě prostorná skříňka na cennosti. K dispozici byly pro ženy 3x WC, 3x sprchy, každá měla závěs, židličku na věci a věšáček. Snídaně byla stále stejná, ale najíst se dalo a hlavně jsme tím šetřili čas. Ubytování se nedá nic vytknout, snad jen těžké dveře, které se dovíraly bouchnutím a vrzající dveře do sociálního zázemí. Největší problém byli ale neohleduplní lidé ubytovaní na hostelu.

• Ivana (3/5): - Dobrá lokace, čisté. Snídaně velmi základní. Jeden plátek šunky a sýru, pečivo. V cereáliích byli mravenci, takže jsme to museli vyhodit. Není možnost si cokoliv uschovat do lednice, takže doporučuji snídani jinde. Odložení kufrů pod schody na 3 hodiny za 5 euro bez hlídání.

• JG Birot (5/5): Représentatif de ce que l'on va devoir trouver à Ponta Delgada : cher pour ce que c'est. - Bien situé en centre ville (parking public gratuit pas loin). Salle de bain commune à l'étage du dessous uniquement. Pas nettoyée tous les jours. On devrait lui dire qu'en français, PASSAL porte mal son nom. Linge de bain en suppélment (avec caution). Petit déjeuner pas terrible (et rationné). Je lis que le gérant est sympathique, visiblement, on a du lui faire quelque chose, il nous a à peine calculé, préférant les hotes espagnols. On met ça sur sur le fait qu'il ne parlait pas français et peut-être pas bien anglais. Nous connaissons bien Sao Miguel donc nous n'avons pas eu besoin de ses conseils. Des 4 séjours en 10 ans sur l'île c'est surement le plus faible rapport-qualité prix et le moins sympathique (si je compare à un équivalent, l'hotel Sete Cidades dans une rue voisine). Mais le tourisme se développe sur l'île et les hotels en centre-ville ont tous vu leurs prix exploser donc on ne peut pas se plaindre.

• Lea (1/5): Eine unsaubere Unterkunft mit unfreundlichem Besitzer - Die Lage ist in Ordnung. Allerdings gibt es kaum Parkmöglichkeiten. Es war extrem unsauber. Wir hatten Bettwanzen in unserem Zimmer. Zudem haben wir eine Kakerlake und einem Tausendfüßler gesehen. Der Besitzer war sehr uneinsichtig und ist uns bei unserem Anliegen nicht entgegengekommen. Wir mussten aufgrund der Bettwanzen vorzeitig die Unterkunft verlassen. Ich würde das Hotel niemandem weiterempfehlen.

• siobhan (10/5): Warm welcome from start to finish - Paolo was an exceptional host as was Anita who was present during breakfast. On arrival. Paulo was keen to give me lots of information to see the best of the island with the view that I did not have a rental car. Anita also helped a lot and the breakfast was fabulous. I was spoilt as I was the only person in my shared room for most of my stay. I would go back. The bathroom facilities were modern and clean Nothing that was in their control. I chose a hostel as a solo traveller to have contact with other travellers but getting to the end of the summer season meant that the hostel was a little quiet. Fridge in shared kitchen would be useful.

• Javier (10/5): - Paolo y Paolo Junior son un 20. Desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos super atento a todo. Antes de llegar ya se encargó de que tuviéramos el coche disponible, no tuvimos que hacer ni buscar nada. El día que llegamos nos explicó paso por paso que hacer en la isla para que disfrutáramos de ella, y tal cual lo hicimos y todo fenomenal. Los desayunos completos, para empezar el día con fuerza 💪, habitación y duchas geniales. Como nos dijo el primer día, lo puedo corroborar, nos hemos sentido como en casa y parte de la familia. Estamos seguros que volveremos tanto a la isla como al alojamiento.

• Dalía (10/5): ¡De los mejores! Muy recomendable - De los mejores alojamientos en los que he estado nunca. Nos hemos hospedado en hoteles que no estaban tan limpios y cuidados como este hostel. Pero, sin duda, lo más destacable es la maravillosa atención de Paulo y su equipo. Dedica a cada huésped su tiempo diario para ver el itinerario y la ruta, y se preocupa de que todo esté perfecto. Incluso compró tomate para mis desayunos porque hice la consulta. ¡Volveremos y lo recomendaremos siempre!
• Patricia (10/5): La elección perfecta - Más que recomendado, de principio a fin. El apartamento era enorme y nuevo, la ubicación perfecta para desplazarte a cualquier sitio. Mención especial a todo el equipo de Passal porque desde el minuto 1 que dimos al botón de reservar ya nos estaban ayudando con información de la isla y cada día allí Paulo nos ha salvado el viaje con su ayuda y recomendaciones, una maravilla.

Nos dejaron modificar el horario del almuerzo porque teniamos que salir pronto y se ofrecieron a que nos lo llevaramos si era necesario. Las camas eran algo incómodas y los baños estaban en pisos diferentes. Nos hicieron pagar 5€ por dejar las maletas 1 hora en un rincón.

• Dana (10/5): Skvělý apartmán se dvěma ložnicemi a společnou koupelnou, kuchyň spojená s obývacím pokojem. - Klidná lokalita na okraji města, ale ve vzdálenosti 200m skvělá pekárna i menší obchod. Do centra 15min chůze, do velkého nákupního centra 20min Je to novostavba a zatím chybí vybavení na terase, což je škoda, protože odpoledne je tam stín a dalo by se tam krásně relaxovat. Ale počítám, že to majitelé brzy doladí :)

• CRISTINA (4/5): No es lo que esperaba y parecía - Buena ubicación cerca del centro. El personal es atento. En el momento de reservar la habitación doble privada no se decía en ningún momento que el baño sería compartido. La habitación es muy pequeña y solo realizan limpieza cada tres días. El desayuno es muy básico y escaso. Te obligan e insisten para hacer el checkin con anterioridad y online porque no siempre están en la recepción. En caso de querer algún extra básico (toallas, dejar las maletas, etc) te cobran.

• Francesca (10/5): - Abbiamo soggiornato in un alloggio (Passal Suites) situato a pochi passi dall'ostello. 10 minuti a piedi dal centro e dal porto con ristoranti e negozi. Al mattino era compresa una buona colazione. Alloggio spazioso, molto pulito, cucina attrezzata, bagno ampio, soppalco con letto matrimoniale e soggiorno con divano letto. Erano compresi asciugamani e lenzuola. Siamo stati molto bene. Grazie

• Giulia Poppi (8/5): - Paulo is a great host, very kind and available. The hostel is located in a central area, a few minutes away on foot from the centre of Ponta Delgada and 7 minutes away from the airport by car. The structure is new and very clean. I had a pleasant time there.

Al llegar nos sugirió un itinerario para nuestras vacaciones y nos recomendó zonas en función del tiempo. Durante la estancia se preocupó porque todo fuera bien. Nos alojamos en las Suites Passal y es un alojamiento muy completo y acogedor, tal como indican las fotos. El desayuno un poco justo.

• Laura (2/5): Schlecht und abzocke - Große Zimmer wir haben uns die ganze Zeit nicht wirklich wohl gefühlt. Der Check in war sehr kompliziert, da man online einchecken muss und der Host nicht immer da ist. Wenn man reingeht, riecht es schon sehr müffelig. Überall sind Kameras und mal fühlt sich sehr beobachtet und kontrolliert. Es gibt keine Küche und Handtücher sind auch nicht inklusive. Wenn man das Gepäck am Abreisetag noch im Hostel lassen möchte, kostet das 5€ in bar und das Gepäck liegt dann im Flur. Die Tax muss man auch noch vor Ort in Bar bezahlen. Insgesamt ist es das Geld nicht wert und wir würden nicht nochmal kommen.

• Lucía (9/5): Todo súper!! - Cogimos un apartamento y estaba muy bien, la cama era comodísima y tenia todo lo necesario para pasar una estancia de una semana. Paolo nos ayudó en todo momento y nos enseño una ruta personalizada. El sofá del apartamento no era nada cómodo, en el desayuno faltaba algo dulce (chocolate, croissant, etc) y costaba un poco aparcar en la misma calle del alojamiento.

• Sara Magdalena Margareta (10/5): Fantastisk personal - Världens trevligaste värd som hjälpte mig med allting jag behövde. Jag kände mig välkommen och omhändertagen även om värden inte var där när jag kom. Allting gick att ordna. Området var lugnt och nära till allt. Jag är mycket nöjd med mitt boende. Tyvärr ville flera av mina rumskompisar stänga av ACn på natten. De öppnade fönstren på vid gavel vilket gav störande ljud på gatan samt många myggbett. Jag hade svårt att sova i värmen och vaknade flera gånger varje natt. Sådant kan inträffa på hostel men det var första gången för mig. :)
