- Anne (8/5): - The breakfast was a delicious surprise 😋 The lighting in the bedroom was a bit dim.

- Wendy (10/5): A great location by Government House and comfy home feeling - Breakfast was delicious and presented in a beautiful fashion by Uncle Jeff. Lots of fun and a delicious meal
- frances (9/5): The food was amazing… It was a great day. - Fantastic location. Nothing I can think of
- Alison (9/5): - Excellent breakfast
- Mona (10/5): Historical gem in a gorgeous setting to relax and recharge. - We liked the beautiful historic home and comfortable community spaces both indoors and out on the front porch. The location was ideal for us visiting downtown, Oak Bay and the gardens of Government House.
The Rose room was spacious, the king bed uber comfortable and the fireplace was lovely. Jeff the host was phenomenal making us feel welcome the moment we arrived. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented.
We enjoyed the library and the fact there were no TVs a true retreat. We were travelling by bicycle and this was a perfect location and setup.
- Isabel (10/5): Wonderful stay! - The heritage architecture, comfortable spacious room, Jeff our host, and the breakfast! No complaints!

- EatPrayTravel (9/5): Beautiful manor in a beautiful area. - We love the surrounding neighborhood, its proximity to Government House and 2 options for buses to downtown Victoria. Walking from the bus stop on Fort Street, flat ground, 10 minutes. From Fairfield 15 minutes, slight slope up towards the manor. The manor is charming, the room well appointed and breakfast was wonderful. Staff were all very nice and welcoming. Erin gave us a tour of the house, and Jeff and Renee provided us with an excellent breakfast to start the day. Even though breakfast was limited to 8-9 only, coffee was ready by 6:30 for those early risers. During our three day stay at the manor, we met wonderful guests, some were repeat guests, so that says a lot. About thin walls and traffic noise: it did not bother us one bit. During our stay, we did not encounter loud guests, never heard doors being slammed shut, talking or heavy foot steps going up or down. The traffic outside was light after 10 pm. No issues there. We also enjoyed spending time on the balcony, sipping tea and listening to birds chirping away, and star gazing at night. It was a surprise to see bright stars in the middle of the city.

- Barbara (10/5): Wonderful stay in a beautiful property. Delicious breakfast! - Beautiful heritage property in lovely area.
- Patricia (8/5): - Location. Friendly staff. Beautiful home. Bed had a memory foam and was quite soft. Toilet was tricky to flush.
- Kathy (8/5): -
- Barbara (9/5): We had a lovely, quiet one-night stay. - Abbeymoore Manor is a lovely heritage home in a nicely kept neighborhood. The parking was a little tight, but we also have a full-size four door pickup, so a smaller vehicle would have no problem with parking
- Deirdre (10/5): Extremely enjoyable. Will definitely do this again! - A beautifully well maintained heritage property that is perfectly located in the city of Victoria BC. The breakfast was incredible!
- Robyn (9/5): Charming Heritage Stay with Amazing Breakfast but Some Noise - Beautiful location in a charming heritage home, full of character and a lovely ambiance. Breakfast was a real highlight — served from 8–9, and absolutely delicious. Each morning started with a fresh fruit and yogurt parfait, followed by a beautifully cooked egg dish, with a different entrée every day. Portions were generous enough that we didn’t need to eat again for hours.
The rooms are charming and very comfortable. If you enjoy a super soft bed (like I do), you’ll be very happy here. What we didn’t like was the noise level. We could clearly hear other guests through the walls, and the rooms aren’t soundproof. It’s understandable for a heritage home with original structure, but it did affect how restful the stay felt. I’d recommend bringing earplugs, especially if your room faces the main road, as traffic noise is noticeable as well.
- john (9/5): - You really need a car to stay here. The room was large and the fireplace was a nice touch. Loved the portrait of the queen.
- Linda (9/5): Characterful, charming B&B very near Government House and Craigdarroch Castle - We purposely chose an old house to stay in as we love historic buildings and furnishings. Abbeymore B&B did not disappoint. Things were modern where needed ie the plumbing all works and is in good shape. Our bed was very comfortable and we both slept very well. The ambience throughout was great.
The two breakfasts that we had exceeded our expectations! Visually stunning and very tasty! A great start to our day but when we stay here again we won't have lunch plans as we didn't want to eat so soon. No negatives. Room was warm at for sleeping so we adjusted the temperature in our room at night by opening the window which was suggested.
- Scott (7/5): -
- Figueiredo (8/5): I would stay again especially for the breakfast! - Location is Beautiful and close to many attractions, Very clean but the best part was the healthy delicious breakfast! The staff is very friendly :) I wish breakfast can be a little later expanded from 8-10, pillows way to soft, no tv in the room- a nice thing to have, our room did not have a soaker tub, tiny bathroom, but there are other rooms with a tub!
- Wedderburn (8/5): Would definitely recommend - Beautiful historic building in a quiet neighborhood
- Julia (10/5): -
- Tran (8/5): - The breakfast was nicely prepared. Staff are very friendly. The Bed was a little lumpy
- Mariano (9/5): -
- Laura (9/5): Wonderful. charming B&B. I would stay here again. - Amazing breakfast. Lovely old building and very comfortable room.
- Donna (10/5): -
- Jim (9/5): -
- Laurie (7/5): Good for a one night stay, as it is not a long drive to the hospital, a lot of steps to climb though - I could not have breakfast since I was having surgery the next morning.
Ease of checking in. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean.
The only staff I saw was very nice. There was no heat in the room, makes for taking showers cold.
The bed was very high, unless you are over 6 feet tall.
Not even a clock or radio in the room, something expected even in the lowest rate rooms.
- David (10/5): -
- CORINNE K (10/5): Lovely place to stay. - We loved it; great location, comfortable. A lovely park really close (to go for a walk in the mornings). Delicious breakfast.
- Eva-Linda (10/5): Sehr Freundlich und Lustig! - Frühstück sensationell Alles hat und gefallen!!!!!
- Linda (10/5): Lovely home, welcoming and fantastic breakfasts. - Perfect location in the beautiful old residential area of Oak Bay. A 5 minute drive takes you to the beach drive, the village of Oak Bay, British Columbia’s Government House, well worth a visit. A 5 min walk takes you down beautiful tree lined avenues with beautiful homes. There was nothing wrong.
- Tanya (8/5): - We had to leave early for our flight and they made us a delicious sandwich to go. Very beautiful location, clean room and lovely building.
- Лыков (10/5): -
- Dejan (10/5): -
- Joanna (10/5): Have stayed here before several times and will stay again! - Tasty and beautifully presented breakfast! The staff were attentive and friendly. There is free parking and the location is quiet and lovely with Government House directly across the street - perfect for garden walks! Not too much to complain about! We like a firm bed so we found the bed in our room a little too poofy with a memory foam on top of the mattress.
- Laurie (10/5): -
- St Aubrey (9/5): -
- James Hugh (8/5): -
- Roy (10/5): - Staff, very helpful. Poor lighting inyhr bedroom, especially at the wash basin- difficult to shave or apply makeup.
- Brandi (8/5): Breakfast was amazing loved the manor - Amazing vibes of old Victorian No sink in bathroom was outside of room
- Rhonda (8/5): Breakfast was the star of this stay. - Breakfast was excellent. Location was great. Other guests were quiet so overall a quiet stay. The only staff we saw was the pleasant young lady who brought out our breakfast. Good shower. Excellent communication and they let us check in early. Bed in the Primrose room was WAYYYYYY to soft.
- Thomas (10/5): - Wonderful location. 1/2 hour walk through beautiful neighbourhood to waterfront .
Fantastic breakfasts. We were there three night and each day breakfast was different.
- Mary (10/5): It was delightful. - I like heritage houses. I find them interesting. The stairs are difficult for my husband who has drop foot but not a huge problem.
- Cheryl (10/5): Charming B & B in Victoria - We loved the Inn, the location and the wonderful breakfast! The bed was so comfortable and the room and Terrace spacious and elegant. Everything was perfect!
- Iris (9/5): -
- Aaron (8/5): - Beautiful property with delicious breakfast The owner kept inserting himself in our morning conversation with unwelcomed comments about race and gender. Please read your audience.
- Susan Brouse (8/5): -
- Josephine (3/5): -
- Axel (8/5): -
- Monty (9/5): Was a trip back in time, with a modern touch - The breakfast was amazing on both mornings. Tasty and well presented. Staff was amazing, friendly, helpful, and funny. The Manor was like out of a history book, was as expected. Location was perfect for us, close to downtown Victoria, but not close, was very quiet.
- Edel (10/5): - Great spot, lovely atmosphere
- Glenn (10/5): -
- Rogerio (10/5): Feel right at home with breakfast and all! - Absolutely everything. Communication and instructions were crystal clear, accommodations were excellent, felt right at home! The breakfast was definitely a highlight as expected from the reviews I read before my visit. Excellent experience overall, will be back soon!
- Yukiko (7/5): -
- Janine (10/5): Amazing in every way. Wonderful staff, delicious breakfast, perfect location, easy late night check, -
- Rafael (10/5): - The positive points are the breakfast and stuff. The negative point, I should say, is the pillow. All those pillows are high. I believe the other point is the bathtub drainage.
- Janet (9/5): Delightful surprise & nice alternative to a hotel. - Large room, great bed. Very welcoming. Able to walk downtown. Squeaky floors-I worry about disturbing others. Too many emails (8).
- Daniel (9/5): - Value for money. Breakfast. Staff. Distance from downtown.
- William (9/5): We stayed at Abbeymoore before and we would stay there again. - Large room, comfortable bed and terrific breakfast. Abbeymoore is an older building, fairly well maintained with lots of character. We were given explicit instructions for self check in because we arrived very late. There was not anything that we disliked.
- Lazar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vonada (10/5): Great stay, perfect location, amazing breakfasts, and Jeff is a scream, we loved it - Charming and comfortable
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janette (7/5): Good - Breakfast…Excellent. Lovely presentation. Nice to sit on the porch.
- Leanne (10/5): Perfect - Excellent & considerate hosts. 5 star breakfast! It could only be better if time could have expanded so we could spend more time in this beautiful setting!
- Yvonne (10/5): Proper Bed and Breakfast. We enjoyed our stay. - It was elegant and charming. Breakfast was excellent! Jeff was informative and welcoming.
- Laverty (10/5): Exceptional - The manor was gorgeous and great accommodation for our girls trip. All 6 of us felt extremely comfortable. Jeff was a fabulous host and Erin was attentive in answering all of our questions before arrival. Breakfast was also so delicious.
- Guy (9/5): Superb -
- Ploenta (7/5): Overall was great! - The property was very nice looking. The owner was very friendly and very kind. The old house smell was very strong especially at the living room and the comforter in the bedroom wasn’t smell charming.
- Naaman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Poppy (10/5): We had a wonderful stay at Abbeymoore Manor, Jeff our host was very friendly and ensured we had everything for our stay! - In a beautiful neighbourhood on a beautiful property! Quiet and beautiful gardens!
- Kateryna (9/5): Lovely stay in a quiete neirboughhood - We had a room on the second floor we a balcony!
Loved the park nearby, no need to drive anywhere.
There is a castle you can take a tour at within 10 mins drive.
If you are driving, parking is available on the premises.
Breakfast was nice and different every morning. The bathtub was in the room, not in a separate room. def needs some maintenance itself.
The water from hot water dispenser tasted like plastic, changed the taste of the tea. I guess more guests drink coffee, so noone really notices.
- Seonae (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lindsey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandy (10/5): Awesome B&B - A beautiful and unique place. We loved the old-style house. It was very warm and inviting. We stayed in the rose room. The bed was very comfortable and a nice-sized clean room. No TV, also no USB plugs so bring your plug-in block. Breakfast was very good, started with a nice warm piece of banana bread with a glass of orange juice, and then they brought out eggs, bacon, and avocado on an English muffin-type bread with a tasty sauce, with asparagus and baby roasted potatoes. (My husband gave me his avocado and asparagus) but it was very good. You can sit inside or outside on the porch. We went down early and had coffee on the porch. The ladies were very nice. We went for a 30-minute walk to the old spaghetti factory for dinner. The next morning after breakfast we walked to the Government House down the street for a nice stroll around the gardens. I would stay again. It was the best B&B I have stayed at. No room for our truck in their parking lot but did find street parking around the corner.
