The kitchenette was a nice feature that added to the comfort and value. I believe the address given for the site might be in error. My GPS took me to an unrelated bank parking lot about a 1/2 mile away from the property. I suggest, based on the GPS, that 4351 El Camino Real, Mountain View, CA might be a more accurate address. The shower was a bit small but adequate.

The room had a full kitchen and was very spacious. Was walking distance for meetings at Tesla following a nice trail system. The bushes in front of the rooms could use a trim to improve the parking access?!? Small complaint:)

There is a paved pedestrian and bike path just around the corner and off the main road where I have taken short walks. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Free parking! Very nice pool area although we did not use the pool. Breakfast used to be more substantial with healthier options. However we understand that everyone has had to cut back due to increased expenses and we really are not breakfast people anyway- happy with the coffee and apples. Plenty of places to eat near by and with a full kitchen it is easy to prepare breakfast as well. Nothing we did not like.

• Alma (10/5): - Customer service was great and check in was easy. Rooms are nice and spacious, has a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Remote for t.v. and a.c. There is a book with local information. My brother is getting treatments at Stanford the location is convenient.

• Jay (9/5): An all-around good place to stay in an expensive city - The room was quiet, better than at many area hotels. The room was spacious and comfortably arranged, without an excess of decoration. The kitchen was large and well appointed, with dishes and cups and tableware all suitable for our dinner in the room. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. Everything about the stay was good for us. Although the cost was high, it was lower than most other hotels in the area for the night we booked. Really we have nothing to complain about; it was a good room at a reasonable price and just what we needed.

If you plan on leaving a tip for housekeeping, please be sure to bring cash, since they can’t charge the tip to a credit card. Very friendly and helpful staff!
• Pamela (10/5): Diamond just shining among the big guys! - We used this motel as other hotels we normally use were booked for a convention. I was nervous to stay here as it is not a “chain” and traveling with a medically fragile child for an appointment to Stanford I like knowing what I am coming into. When we pulled in to the motel the two disability parking spots were full so I parked as close to office as possible, Eric came out of office and asked me if he could help seeing it was a tight squeeze for my wheelchair van. He brought me my room key to my van and even changed our room to the disability room which we did not reserve. Then asked if he could help carry our bags to the room. Service was 5 stars! I was shocked by this little diamond tucked in among the big buildings. Room neat clean comfortable, had fridge, microwave, two bottles of water and even two mints on the night stand! I liked that it had a booklet with information of surrounding area and the tv channels!! It listed it had a grab and go breakfast, but I didn’t get it so just mentioning it. The two things I will mention as cons are. If you do use a wheelchair all the rooms except disability room have a small 6? Inch step getting into room on first floor. And the disability room has carpet which is harder for wheelchairs. Other than that, shout out to Eric for being so polite and attentive!

• Neal (8/5): Good hotel for the value, in PA, with no frills but just what you need for a short business stay. - Rooms are large and simple, but in good shape. Parking just outside. Pool in summertime but never had the chance to test it. There is no breakfast to speak of and location off of El Camino isn't amazing. Place is super simple, but price is right.
• Carebear1953 (7/5): Loved the very friendly staff - The breakfast was really only coffee and fruit. The upstairs (steep) were a bit difficult to navigate for an older person, with no room to walk around the maid carts since the aisle is narrow.

Would have been able to stay comfortablely for long periods if needed! Close to Stanford Hospital and eating & coffee shops! Rooms with kitchens are only on the upper floor, no elevator, but only 5 stairsteps up turn then 5 steps more!

• 873petere (2/5): Rude Manager Threatens to Tow My Car - I am a food delivery driver and I was delivering to a nearby apartment building. I decided to park at the Country Inn Motel and walk over to the apartment to deliver to the customer. As I was walking there, a guy, probably the manager, rudely told me that the motel was private property and I was not allowed to park there. I told him that I was delivering to the nearby apartment building. I also told him that didn’t feel safe parking on the street and I would only be parked at the motel for about 5 minutes. He told me that that wasn’t his problem and threatened to tow my car if I was going to be longer than 5 minutes. I understand that the motel was private property and I shouldn’t have parked there, but the manager didn’t have to be rude about it8

• Federico (4/5): - This hotel has gone downhill unfortunately. The bathrooms are very dated with mildew in the showers. The rooms have poor insulation so they get very hot and the AC is anemic. Also, they are very judicious with the water and don’t have a water fountain onsite to fill your own bottle. I likely won’t stay here again.

I like that it has parking and is close to both Stanford and the adorable downtown-Los Altos which has decorated shops and many choices for restaurants & bakeries. Accessible to El Camino and freeways as needed. Friendly staff, who came quickly to help with new fancy, air conditioner unit. Would stay again! Nothing

• Darin (6/5): - I like to find mom and pop locations that may not be fanciest but are run with care, I wanted this to be one of those places but it wasn’t. Upon entering the room a lot looked newer/updated mixed with items in desperate need of updating. As others have mentioned it smelled musty/moldy. The goods are : they had an ok bed, provided little amenities like chapstick & a make up mirror, and had a small pool (which I didn’t use.) however the goods didn’t outweigh the negatives. Aside from the room smell the seal around the Fridge had mildew on it, and opening the shower door disturbed the 7-8 drain flies that were in the shower, it was very disgusting. Unfortunately I wouldn’t stay in this place again.
