Andrew (6/5): The main reason we were disappointed with the property, and the reason we won’t stay there again, was the afternoon staf - The property is well maintained and cozy, and we liked the fire pits. The garden area is very pretty. Some minor issues in the room made the stay less comfortable. There was no iron/ironing board, no dresser or desk on which to put things, the bathroom had no space to put toiletries, and the hangars only attach to the rings on the bar. Definitely made the room less comfortable.

I spoke with him stating we would be a late check-in. He set it all up and gave us names of restaurants that would still be open if we needed to eat first. The recommendations were spot on. It could not have gone smoother. I will definitely be back if the opportunity arises. 🧡

Beautiful esthetics, amazing garden , a combination of luxury and utter peace . Outside gardens/seating areas are lovely. The light for the patio seating area outside our room was inoperable- no switch and no bulb. Tissues (ie Kleenex) in the bathroom would be nice.

Morozova (10/5): A perfect and charming retreat - I absolutely loved my stay at Lantern Light Inn. I spent six nights there, and it truly felt like my home away from home. The patio with swing chairs was a favorite spot—perfect for morning coffee or a relaxed lunch—and the garden is beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The location is excellent, with easy access to hiking trails and the shuttle, plus a great health food restaurant, coffee shop, and bakery right across the street. I also appreciated how quiet and non-touristy the area feels. The in-room coffee was surprisingly good, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I’m so grateful I found this special place—it made my Sedona trip peaceful, relaxing, and truly memorable.

Patricia (5/5): - Staff was helpful when they were there. Our room was nice but not worth what they charged. There was no one on duty to help outside of regular business hours. I cut myself and needed a bandage at 7:45 am. NO ONE responded until 10am and we had already checked out. Our room was nice but our friends were not happy with theirs which was about a third smaller at the same price. Patrick said that was because they had the lovely patio but it rained the entire time we were there and the room had a bad leak so the furniture was soaked.

Michael (8/5): - The hotel was quiet with a comfortable outdoor seating area. No dining on premises but the staff was willing to make a few recommendations of restaurants in town. Traveling by motorcycle and unsure of arrival time. We arrived @ 1:30 for a 3:00 check-in. Our room was ready and the staff let us check-in early. We paid a premium for a late reservation on a holiday weekend. The price did not match the level of amenities provided.
James (8/5): It’s a beautiful place for a romantic getaway - The gardens were beautiful. Our private gardens and seating area were great, romantic mood setting. The pillows provided on the bed were too flat. My wife and I both developed neck and shoulder pain during our stay. There no tissues provided in the room. People traveling from more humid climates to Sedona need tissues! We requested a cleaning of our room that didn’t happen in the middle of our stay.

Clare (10/5): Totally unique property. - The property is unique with quiet areas to sit in the garden with lush vegetation and statues. It inspires calmness and serenity The rooms are beautifully appointed, each one different in its decor. The staff is so helpful and kind. The property is close to the highway so there is traffic noise during much of the day sitting outside, but the rooms are quiet. It is worth the noise to stay at this inn that feels like a retreat.

Saad (3/5): Unpleasant stay - The location was good. We weren't near the busier sections of Sedona, but close enough that we could drive there easily. Less than 10 minutes to some scenic locations and 20 min (with traffic) to Tlaquepaque, where their restaurants and stores were. Unfortunately, there were many things that kept the experience at Lantern Inn from being pleasant. 1. The heated electric fireplace wasn't working; we had to rely on the A/C unit which takes a while to spin up 2. The center of the our room had an open skyscape which lets light in, but the blinds inside it was broken, so it let too much light in 3. Our door code was reset the second day. We couldn't get in. We were lucky the staff who knew how to reset the code was there, through a complicated process that only she knew. She explained that due to two people trying to book the same day, the system thought we were checking out a day earlier, and reset our code. 4. They didn't clean our room during our stay, maybe due to the glitch, but for some reason they came in the room and opened our blinds. We had to ask for fresh towels the second day and the bathroom toiletries. 5. The floor was dirty, the carpet was wet for some reason
John (10/5): A perfect getaway location. Clean. Near most everything you'd want to see and do. We shall return. - We really enjoyed this facility and wish we had more days to stay. It was clean and cozy. Loved the fireplace. The location was also great and was in the middle of everything that we wanted to see and do. We'd like to return in the future. The front door didn't close properly and we had to use a lot of force to close it. All of the windows and doors were open when we checked in and there was a cleaning rag in there so we weren't sure if we arrived in the middle of the room being cleaned. Not big negatives and they didn't detract from our stay. Just something to maybe correct for the next time.
