Guest Reviews
- Gail (8/5): - Not as clean as we expected
Shower curtain had black mold in many places
- Traci (8/5): - Adequate. Nothing fancy but comfortable and convenient
- Irina (10/5): - Very outdated property, but clean and decent for smb who’s coming explore the area and needs just the place to sleep.
- Aiken (4/5): - Didn't shower. Showers where too dirty. Most towels were stained. Wall paint bad everywhere. Only one main light switch at door. No bed side switch. Cables (TV, fridge etc) messy. Fridge super loud.
Mattress hard but ok for me
Absolutely ridiculous price for what was delivered. I would not write what I did if I paid $45/night and can't expect anything better
- Saba (10/5): - Clean rooms and cozy and also it’s 10 minutes walk from niagara park
- Christifer (2/5): - Starting off, it was a last minute and the price is right not soon after we got there. We realized it was a sketchy part of town once arriving and checking into the room. It looked fine at a glance but once we were there for five minutes, we realized how absolutely disgusting it was. The carpets were sticky and nasty, and you couldn’t walk on them in your bare feet without worrying about contracting some third world disease if I was able to give zero stars, I would I do not recommend this place and if you do decide to stay there, don’t take off your shoes
- Carlos (10/5): - My experience was pleasant. The hotel is well located near the waterfalls. It has parking included, since that is very important. I clarify that it does not have breakfast included, but it is fine for a short stay.
- Jose (2/5): - So old and dirty
- Jennifer (4/5): - Poor location, not clean
- Keshava Murthy (10/5): - Excellent service
- Julie (2/5): - The parking is terrible and i didnt have no where to park didn't even stay there.... paod ut didnt stay and they should know that tried to cancel but it wouldn'tlet me... the doors for hotel looked like little kid doors,
- Jose (6/5): Not to good - The place was run down, dirty, in need of repair and renovation .
The service was excellent but it needs to be updated soon
- Harsha Gurumurthy (10/5): - The property is decent for the price. We had a pleasant stay. Would recommend this especially for those looking for decent hotel and short stay.
- Luzbella (8/5): - Everything was fine, the staff was attentive, everything was clean, it was a very simple place, but the bed was comfortable and it was close to transportation and places of interest. I liked it, I recommend it.
- Guillermo (10/5): - I recommended to everyone is very good place
- Heather (2/5): - Awful out dated and sooooo dirty
- Zineb (4/5): - We were greeted by a nice front desk staff. The best thing about this property is that’s close to the falls and you have a number of food options. The bad part about this property is our room was dirty. The rug was so dirty
- Daniel (8/5): 2/4 August 2025 - Staff is wonderful. Property is dated but nice.
Carpet in room is filthy.
- Jayavel (10/5): Good - Good
- Jim (4/5): - Very Friendly Management. Walking distance to the falls.
- tina (10/5): - Very good service
- Marie (8/5): - When we first got there the service was great. We had a few concerns initially but they were able to take care of it as soon as they knew. A little smaller than usual but not terrible.
- Daniel (2/5): - It’s very old and bad condition
- Valerie (8/5): - Very close to the falls. Nice staff. Room mirror was gross and bathroom door needed painted
- Penny (8/5): - The place is outdated ! The owner/operator was very friendly and helpful ! The location was perfect to walk to the falls :)
- WENDY (4/5): - Poorly maintained outside and inside! Parking lot was in grass. May have been in walking distance to falls (5+ blocks) but there is no way you would want to walk that neighborhood at night! Especially with children. Paint peeling from walls, dirty bathroom…
Manager was very pleasant.
- Gurpreet (10/5): - Good
- Brenda (6/5): - The hotel is old and not kept up. The man at the front desk was very friendly, seems he had to do everything hisself. I never saw anyone else working there. We stayed three nights, room was never serviced but if we asked for towels, coffee etc. he promptly got them for us.
- Mariana (10/5): - Great place for a quick small trip. Staff were helpful. It’s also a walking distance to Niagara Falls park and restaurants.
- Herb (10/5): - Close to downtown and the price was right.
- Kim (10/5): - We asked for a late check out for 2 hrs. Didn't have to pay extra. Very nice and considerate.
- Ana (6/5): - El televisor no sirve, la luz de la lámpara tampico, una de las camas le sonaba todo.
- Donnie (8/5): - Staff was really friendly
- K (10/5): - It was close to the water falls, the casino, pizza shops 7Eleven and a liquor store is right down the block plus there is coffee a bar wine shops and burger places very close by it’s nice warm and cozy nice service quick check in and quick return of a
- JACOB (10/5): - Ok
- Ann (4/5): - The location was very convenient which is the main positive thing about this place. The bathroom was in disrepair paint peeling leaky faucet hair in the bathtub
For $200 for one night stay I would think they could do
- Deepak (10/5): - It’s exactly what you would expect. Very courteous and helpful staff and located really close to the state park.
No complains.
- Aniket (6/5): - The property was in a great location, close to all major attractions, with easy parking access. However, there was no hot water in the shower or sink. The shower curtain was quite dirty—yellow and smelly. Otherwise, the room was clean, but the Wi-Fi was quite slow.
- Sandro (8/5): - Ok
- Zach (8/5): - AC unit is great, although wifi could be improved, cell service a little off, nice staff
- venkata (8/5): - Good
- Olesya (6/5): - The location of the Inn is very convenient, walking distance to all the famous places.
- Sai madhu (2/5): - Don’t book this it’s too worst
- Joyce (10/5): - It was alright for a place to stay a night or two, but wasn’t fabulous. Would stay here again. Price is reasonable. It’s within walking distance of the Falls. The gentleman that checked us in was very helpful and pleasant. We appreciate the service.
- Cadence (6/5): - the wifi doesn’t reach the room and the door was broken so the guy at the front (who was very sweet) kept having to come open the door for us
- brandy (4/5): - Like that it was close to the falls on sight parking staff very nice. Did not like the room. Needs updates done to them.
- Charlie (4/5): - The building is in sad shape. No bedside lamps, bathroom walls and tub were sad.
- omar (8/5): - It is walking distance to most place in niagara falls
- Devika (6/5): - Bathroom
- Cassie (2/5): - A
- Sophia (6/5): - Close to the border
- Verified traveler (4/5): Convenient to Falls BUT, BUT - Clean but tiny room. View is of a brick wall Insufficient parking. A place to flop for the night but that's about all
Owners hard to communicate with.
- Yinan (6/5): - The hotel is safe and well-located, and the staff provides excellent service. But the price is relatively high.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Traveler - Close to falls, live in workers are helpful but condition and service are not so great need little more attention.
- juan (8/5): - Its very dirty, they don't clean the rooms...NOT GOOD
- Sulochana (8/5): - All good
- hasthi (10/5): - Staff is very friendly and this hotel is walkable distance to Niagara State Park
- Tai (4/5): - Bad smell in the room, bathroom light blinking all the time, they clean 2nd floor room too early interrupted my sleeping.
- Shahnaz (2/5): - nothing was great about this property, the carpet was so dirty that our feet became black. They didn't even come to the room the next day to add coffee cups and coffee.
I do not recommend this Inn as is very dirty.
- Md (10/5): - soo nice
- PAULO (8/5): - The price was the best when you consider the location! It is almost a 10 minute walking to Niagara Falls Park.
- Shafi (2/5): - Bad
Customer service
- Tevfik (2/5): - Smell was incredible. Very very old. Sorry but this place should not be listed.
- Kristina (8/5): It was overall worth it . - We chose this hotel for the price and distance from the falls. Although the weather made us decide not to walk it was an easy possibility. It was a little sketchy looking but nothing bad happened. We almost didn’t stay because of the reviews. Staff was friendly and allowed us to check in early which means a lot. Hotel is definitely dated and the bedding was clean but with previous stains. Bed was not very soft or comfortable. HOWEVER, after spending all day at the falls and being tired none of that was really noticed as we hopped in and went right to bed. The bathtub initially gave me yuck vibes but once again, by the end of the night I was soaking and ready to sleep and start a new day. I would stay again but I would also check out other options first. It wouldn’t be my first pick but for the price and location I would do it again. Oh and the smell - it was an old outdated smell. And the floor was a little weak in one area. But again, hardly noticed after a long day.
- Alicia (2/5): - Property was extremely dirty. No vending or ice machines. No staff besides manager which is not very friendly. Says the property is in the center which is not true.
- christion.m (10/5): - The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. We could walk to Niagara Falls and all the restraints. The room was safe and restful. I would stay at the Passport Inn - By the Falls NY again.
- Rafael (2/5): Dirtiest Hotel By Niagara Falls - This was one of the dirtiest hotels I ever stayed in. The floor was so dirty, I had to wipe my feet every time I place them on the carpet. Never again. I booked a 3 night, I only stayed one night and I’m never going back.
- Lisa (10/5): - Location is amazing 👏
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff is very friendly.
- Catherine (10/5): - This is a small quiet place. It was inexpensive and nice. It was very clean and the man in the office was very nice and answered my questions.i would definitely stay hre again.
- Elena (6/5): - Clean carpet.
modern A/C
- Stephanie (6/5): - Walking distance to Falls and attractions.
- Bibin George (8/5): - The property is ok. Niagara Falls is walkable from there. Convenient. It’s a little old, but fine. It was good for our needs. Economical.
- Steven (4/5): - Wasn’t the cleanest and the key card stoped working
- karla (2/5): - The room had a foul odor and keeping the door open was impossible and unsafe. The rug was disgustingly grimy. I had to wash my sandals before packing and made my daughter throw out her socks because they got so gross from walking on the carpet. The bathroom had mold everywhere. I felt stranded and nowhere else to stay within my budget. It was the worst experience I've ever encountered. I have to disinfect all my clothes when I get home. Everything about this place felt dirty and unhygienic.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - For the amount they charged it was a small room with creaky beds and nothing else
- Siddharth (8/5): - Good for short stays
- Bijaya (10/5): - Good
- Ronald (2/5): - Terrible, strong bad odor, not clean, not for family stay
- Paresh (2/5): - This property need renovation.
Bathroom was not clean
Most of area was rusted
Really property needs to be updated
Was not happy with that place
It was very dirty
- Verified traveler (6/5): Just OK - Very dated hotel but not terribly. Bed was comfortable, bathroom fairly decent, staff are nice, 10-15 walk from falls and main areas. It was affordable and I didn't have high expectations.
- linfei (10/5): - Very convenient
- Pamela (6/5): - ..
- Jo (10/5): - This was a budget stay on our road trip. We thought its location on 3rd was perfect for us. We have a toddler so about 1m walk to Niagara Falls but amongst the few shops and eateries we found. Basic but comfortable. Room had fridge and coffee maker and microwave and two beds with shower over bath so it worked for us and the little one. We would definitely stay again. Thank you
- geraldine (4/5): - Thin walls. Can hear others doing stuff. This place is just plain old worn out. Not very clean. Dried vomit stain on carpet. Bad neighborhood this is in the ghetto of Niagara Falls.
- Reva (8/5): - It’s not the most plush place nor it is luxurious. But it was very clean and it was perfect for a place to sleep which was all we needed
- Gordon (8/5): - Very accessible to the falls and other attractions. The room was pretty basic, which we expected for the price point, but it had everything we needed and we were also pleasantly surprised that the TV had free live cable and on-demand streaming.
There was a small amount of mold in the bathroom (no smell) and it could get somewhat noisy at night (but we could still sleep). The staff were very receptive and around to provide extra towels and blankets when we needed them.
- Matthew (6/5): - Clean no frill budget inn near the falls. Don't expect amenities that a higher standard inn would have.
This being said, it has the basics. Each private room comes with the standard Towels, soap, clean bedroom and bathroom.
Don't expect laundry services or breakfast
- Leah (10/5): - Good place to stay
- Miracle (2/5): Won’t stay again - Please do not let the pictures fool you! I will say that the location of this hotel is awesome. It is in walking distance to all of the local attractions. Cleanliness out of the window! Space in the room very little. The staff is pleasant and helpful.
The linens and towels were stained and do not look to be washed well. The tub was peeling, the bathroom was not clean, the lock on the front door was junky and the Wi-Fi was bad.
- Gary (6/5): Ok stay - This place is really run down, needs a lot of updating. Bed was comfortable, quiet neighborhood. Kind of a sketchy neighborhood.
- Aman (2/5): - Room is terrible and smell like public toilets. Bed sheets are dirty. Toilet door handle doesn't work. Only good thing about property is that it is close to Niagara falls park.
- Leah (10/5): - Staff always very friendly and kind and always feel comfortable in the tooms and peace and quite
- Sikder Monoare (4/5): - not a good hotel, old and it’s a motel
- Jimmi (10/5): Clean - Very close to all the attractions. Friendly people.
- Lilly (6/5): - The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean except the carpet was damp and dirty. We booked last minute as we had to extend our trip and the hotel that we were staying at was sold out and couldn’t accommodate us for another night. The Passport Inn is what you’d expect from a motel but the owners were so nice that I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. That is until I woke up in the middle of the night to a roach crawling on my arm. Spent the rest of the night with my phone light on making sure I didn’t see any others come back out. Luckily I had a 5am flight and didn’t have to stay much longer.
- Aakriti Kumari (6/5): - The Wifi service is really poor.
- Snezhana (6/5): - -
- Leah (10/5): - Staff is really nice and makes you feel welcomed
- Michelle (8/5): - The price was right! We literally planned our trip to the falls last minute, we were basically only in the room to sleep. It was very basic, but comfortable. I was surprised how comfortable the bed was, and the air conditioner was really cold. It was in walking distance of everything. And the man who ran it was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.
