Guest Reviews
- Eric (10/5): - Great hotel
- Monica (4/5): - We chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport, but it turned out to be one of the worst experiences of our trip. After a long day of touring, we arrived late at night, exhausted and just wanting a hot shower and rest. Unfortunately, there was no hot water.
Maintenance was supposedly sent, but after repeated calls to the concierge, we were told different stories: “one hour,” then “15 minutes,” and finally, at 1 a.m., that the system couldn’t be fixed until morning. There was no proactive communication from staff despite promises to update us.
The next day, we were assured the issue was resolved, but once again there was no hot water. We had no choice but to take cold showers before leaving as quickly as possible. To make matters worse, our requests for extra towels were ignored, and the room itself was cold and uncomfortable.
- Wayne (8/5): Set Realistic Expectations - The staff were friendly but don’t speak English. The accommodations were sparse. Only 1 towel was in our room when we checked in at 1am. The hot water took way too long to wait for in the night. There’s no heat control in the room. But a short stay and the staff were as accommodating as they could be!
- Sang Hyun (10/5): - the lady at the front desk, Noamie (spelling?), was very helpful. She actually saved our trip to Pachupicchu! She arranged taxi to (2:30am!) and from (10pm) a bus station we had no idea. We had no idea where we were going! At end the taxi took us to the station nobody told us at the time of bokking! the staff was kind!
- Hazel (4/5): - Spacious room with large bed was the one good thing about this hotel. Breakfast was okay, not to many choises. There was nothing else in room other than a small TV, a nightstand, desk and chair. No alarm clock, no working phone. Tv came on but didn't turn off, had to unplug it. Room was extremely cold with no heating system to adjust temperature. Water in bathroom sink cold. Shower water got a little cooler after allowing it to run for a while however pressure was so low you had to to take a sponge bath. There was no hairdryer, ironing board or toiletries in bath as you'd find in most hotels. The only thing supplied wa a bar of soap. There were no towels in room just a rough small towel on the sink that looked like it was for standing on. When I asked for towels I was given one large rough towel. No face towel or wash cloth was supplied. One of the tiles in bathroom was sitting out leaving a hole in wall near bathtub. Staff at front desk spoke no English. There was no offer or help in getting your luggage to your room if you needed it. There was no tourist infor in lobby or in room about anything the area and city had to offer. When asked about places to eat the guy at front desk had to look up restaurants on google. The location of hotel was not close to major shopping, and restaurants. Furniture stores were all that were found in walking distance. I was suppose to stay an additional four days. Decided to get another hotel where I was much happerier.
- yadira (8/5): - Good, affordable stay
- Daniel (10/5): - Very nice for the area
- JUAN PALACIOS (10/5): - It’s nice plase to stay
- Dara (10/5): - Very clean wifi and hot water worked great
- antonio (10/5): - It's a bit far from the main attractions, but you can't beat the price.
- Tashika (10/5): - Ok
- chantal (10/5): - Good location, friendly people
- Arianny (8/5): - Very nice place to stay! Clean and comfortable
- Subroto (2/5): - we stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and the experience was very low. we booked 2 rooms. If you are fussy about bathroom use do not book this hotel. no proper drainage, no hot water, no pressure in the faucet and even no proper room service.
- Juany (2/5): - Where do I start: 1.when I arrive I was told that I didn't have a reservation. Once I show them my confirmation I was told that there was no room assign for me and they didn't have one like my reservation. 2.Once I got a room - The room didn't have toilet paper and was missing a curtain. 3.I ask for a hair dryer and it didn't work and smell like it was burning. 4.Breakfast was from 6-9 arrived at 6;50 and breakfast was not ready; the lady putting out the food and handling the bread was not wearing gloves. 5. I told 3 different front desk representatives about my concerns and each time I was told that some one from upper management will contact but them when I would follow up I was told by the next receptionist that hey didn't have any notes or complain on file. Poor Customer service.
- Francesca (6/5): - Upon entering the hotel, the hotel appeared to be clean and nice. Staff were very welcoming and kind which was a definite plus. However, the bedroom itself was only okay. The bathroom’s mirror was completely tarnished and the shower lining was discolored and moldy. When I turned the shower on, the shower head was so big that the water escaped the tub entirely and made a huge mess. Thankfully I was only there for one night but it was uncomfortable and I would not recommend staying here for longer than one night.
- David (4/5): - Mix up on our stay.
- Amber (2/5): Not at all like the photos - Brown water came out of the shower spout when I turned it on. No jacuzzi tub, even though it was advertised to have one. No balcony. None of the surrounding restaurants were open when I arrived at 7:30pm. In regards to the included breakfast, I had a 30 minute window to eat before my flight but none of the food was ready. Only got to eat one watermelon slice before my airport pickup arrived.
- Audrey N (10/5): - Their service was great and friendly.
20 minutes of city’s center, taxis everywhere and the price $5 /$7 aprox
- David (6/5): - Shower head broke on first day, room was really hot
- Catalina (6/5): - Breakfast choices were very limited and did not offer any gluten free alternatives
- Nicole (8/5): - Large room and bed, friendly staff. Breakfast is not much, cereal, bread, boiled eggs. My only complaint was my shower had a rainfall shower head, the one from the ceiling and it would spray all kinds of ways. About 6 steps to enter property, but they do have an elevator.
- KENYA (6/5): - Outside of the hotel is under construction. The first room was clean. But the floors were mopped not with a clean mop.
- Yuliana (6/5): - Hotel convenient to stay if you are going to the airport but we had a lot issues with the drainage with the tub and we got a room change but then the sink didn’t drained either. It was just one night we stayed there.
- Michael (8/5): - Good stay. Hotel needs some updates. No restaurant. They need to improve cleaning and buy a new towels
- Michael (8/5): - Nice big rooms with comfortable big tub. Great hotel to stay a couple of nights
- Jesus (10/5): - I like
- Eduardo (10/5): - Katy was extremely helpful!!! Thank you so much .
I would recommend this to anybody.
- REINIER (2/5): - Horrible hotel, staff not friendly, location far away from the center, noisy guests, breakfast horrible , resumen , its really bad.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Dirty and excessively air-conditioned room
- Verified traveler (6/5): They act like they hate their guests - Another hotel that doesn't look like the photos. Terrible service and unhelpful staff. The walls were full on chips and water damage. They refuse to clean the bedding. They just remake your bed with dirty sheets day after day. The first night, my bed was made with wet sheets. The room is freezing cold. The breakfast was tea, juice, bread and cold lunch meat. Their oxygen tank doesn't work. They offer no further assistance if you don't feel well. They offer no greeting and ignore you as you come and go.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great hotel and friendly and helpful staff. There is street noise but it does quiet down at night. Not near the Centro but it's only a 10 soles taxi ride away. Behind the hotel is a little restaurant called Tiger's Milk which if I could have I would have eaten there every single day. And about two blocks away is a great little cafe called Bunna Cafe. I would recommend this hotel to other people visiting Cusco!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing, helpful front desk staff! Extremely clean and spacious room. Very modern. Organized our in-hotel Covid testing to return to the US. In the middle of the city, but a safe neighborhood.
- Steven (8/5): One night stay - We stayed just one night, but everything was great. Huge room, very comfortable, it would of been nice to have a few English channels on the TV. We had an early flight and couldn’t eat breakfast, so they prepared a to go snack.
- Weinerich (10/5): - El Hotel es espacioso, Limpio y el personal es atento.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice property. Convenient drive to the city center. Friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Very noisy hotel - The hotel is very nice and clean and modern which is what appealed to me. Something that really bothered me was all of the sound. The hotel is open from the basement to the top floor with laminate floors so sound carries throughout all of the floors, the lobby blasts music all day and night and the hotel is located on a very busy road so sleeping wasn't an easy task . The food and service at the hotel was good though.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - the employees were very nice and friendly. For the price we paid, the overall experience was excellent.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We needed a hotel close to Cusco airport due to our flight out being cancelled
- Ed (8/5): - The food was great but for some reason they never had drinks like sodas beer etc otherwise everything else is okay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Awesome hotel
Very help full staff
Nice a clean hotel and very quiet area
Excellent breakfast
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean and lovely hotel! Close to airport and about a 15 minute ride to plaza del armas
- sk (10/5): - The building is clean and all staffs are very kind.
- Stéphane (10/5): A fantastic hotel near Cusco airport - We stayed at Polo Corporativo San Sebastian for one night only to catch an early flight at Cusco airport. After stating in Peru for nearly 3 weeks, we can say it is the best hotel we stayed at! Great friendly staff, big comfortable rooms, excellent internet and a great price to match! Definitely recommended!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - good people and great value - THANK YOU I was a day late and they accomodated that
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Not in a good location. Not convenient to the center food choices very limited would not stay there again
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Aware that this was a budget hotel. Room was basic. But bathroom was a pleasant surprise. Buffet breakfast served in hotel restaurant was adequate. What we had nit bargained for was the toilet seat being removed whilst we were out. We asked at the desk what had happened and were told the toilet seat was broken, news to us
- Verified traveler (10/5): - People so amazing front desk personnel especially Larissa thank you so much for your such a great accommodating for me on my first day thanks again Noel
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great value. American quality for $38. Coming from the states you'll love it
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Check in was terrible. One person at front desk who did not know that Polo Corporativo provides shuttle service to the airport, and gave me 3 different times when breakfast would be available in the morning. We had to be at the airport at 6am, their breakfast was not begun to be set up, no coffee in the thermos in the lobby at 5:30, no toilet paper in the restroom. The hotel itself is nice but their service is awful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excelent customer servise in everithing.
Breackfast was delicios. Best cofee ever.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Terrible location brutal sound proofing kept getting woken up by guests , staff who couldn’t help and breakfast that was never stocked . Plates , hot food, tea brutal .
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The actual location is in San Sebastian - not Cusco. For tours this means NO hotel pick-ups.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Location is actually in San Sebastian. No tour operator will pick-up at this hotel. Only Cusco hotels. The address listed on Expedia is for mailing - not physical. If you are touring in Cusco - need to stay at a hotel around Plaza de Armas of you will spend a lot of time in traffic in taxis.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean and very modern hotel her good breakfast.good
- Felix (10/5): - Excellent hotel, only ubication not is very centrical, but by 2-3 usd of taxi all is OK. Room its very clean, wifi connect its good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff Is nice and the room was very clean. But the restaurante is only open for the breakfast. The food isn't varied
- KC (10/5): - All expectations were met, location recommended for the purpose of the trip
- Laurie (8/5): - Large modern room with big windows. A bit cold and shower leaked. Room beautiful and comfortable otherwise. Staff were extremely helpful and kind. All the young ladies at the desk always went out of their way to help me with directions,Spanish, taxis, info, etc.
Only negative is that it’s quite far from Cusco with no restaurants in the area.. You can, however, take a cheap taxi, or even cheaper collectivo to the center.
I enjoyed my stay there.
- Satoshi (8/5): Good place but far from the main square - Clean room, helpful staff, quiet location.
The minus point is definitely the location. It’s far from plaza de armas.(main square)
You can reach to the heart of Cusco by bus with only 0.8soles but it takes 30 mins.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice hotel. Great facilities, huge room, provided a space heater for the night. would have provided breakfast before our early flight, but we arrived too late to let them know. If you have a flight earlier than 6:30, let them know ahead of time and they will arrange for an earlier breakfast. They also called for a taxi for us and had it waiting to take us to the airport.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great! Hotel was very clean and nice. It wasnt in the main area but very close. Only complaint was that there was a lot of noise in the morning not sure if it was from the hotel or the guests.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel is a 10 minute drive to historical centre. Has good breakfast and staff was very helpful and friendly. Clean and shower with great water pressure.
- Rosa (6/5): Good for a short stay - We spent two nights at this hotel. A little far from the tourist attractions.
- vlad (6/5): - new clean hotel,good staff
no fridge in the room, breakfast could be better
- Dave (6/5): - Our shower (Rm 703) didn't have a curtain that wrapped around the whole tub, so water sprayed everywhere and soaked the floor. Also, the 'rain head' was just a normal shower head affixed to the ceiling.
As I got out of the shower at 0700h, a cleaning maid entered the room and saw me in my full glory - with my wife present... Not a great experience.
Also, the 'king bed' was just two singles pushed together so there was the crevasse down the middle.
- Jc (8/5): - Modern, clean, good breakfast.
Would recommend it.
- Hannah (10/5): - The staff at Polo Corporativo San Sebastian made our stay a wonderful experience. They were very attentive and responsive to all requests and even helped my husband and I to arrange a taxi for our very, very early morning ride to the airport.
- AnnaB (6/5): - Hotel is 10 mins away by car from Main Plaza. Room missing some amenities like Hair dryer, and was smelly due to poor drainage system. Breakfast very basic. It was also noisy at the hotel. Overall, hotel was ok since it is fairly new.
- Ana (10/5): - Hotel is spacious and modern! The staff is very friendly.
- Deb (10/5): - I was really impressed with Polo Suites. It was clean and spacious for three people. I would stay there again.
- HP (8/5): - Very New, very helpful staff, big rooms and clean.
- Jessica (6/5): Disappointing - The hotel is modern, which has it's perks. However, the biggest drawback was that the shower had no curtain. Therefore, water splashed everywhere and flooded the floor. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary. There was also an old soap bar left at the top of the shower, a spot that was just missed when cleaning. I had also spoken with the hotel about getting a ride to the airport. In email and in person when checking in, they said they would include a ride in our room rate. The next morning as we were leaving, they said it would be a charge. It was frustrating to get different information. We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport, but had stayed closer to the city center before. I would definitely stay at another hotel closer to the city center.
- Nilesh (10/5): - great value for price
- Daniel (10/5): Close to historic center, clean, nice staff. - I highly recommend! Stayed here for 10 days...nothing but good things to say about this hotel. The nicest, helpful multilingual staff that have close relationships with the local taxi agencies (you WILL be grateful for this, you'll see what I mean). Clean room (a queen and double beds). Easy to access the Plaza de Armas in historic city center (the hotel is on the main street connecting to the city center, about 2-3 miles). Good breakfast (they serve coca tea!). The only thing I would say is that you can hear noise from the hallway outside your room at night and in the mornings, but generally it is noise generated by people coming and going from their room, like opening/closing of doors and people conversing.
- jerson (10/5): ill be back - good location. clean hotel.. new.... very nice view.... near the airport... if given a chance to go back to cuzco i will stay here again.
- Rile (10/5): - Amazing hotel, brand new construction and still smells like new. The only small glitch is that the door handles are not the regular hotel style so you need to lock them from inside and then slam the door on your way out. So if you hear loud banging at night just turn over and go back to sleep as someone is just going out of their room. Other than this, the hotel was PERFECT!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I like the. Hotel very much
- Claudia (10/5): - Polo Towers was very clean, beds n bedding very comfortable, the service was great. Staff went above and beyond to meet our needs and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Definitely home away from home.
- Luis (10/5): - Excelent choice. Modern hotel not to far from down town Cuzco.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very good value for the money. - Very good hotel. We spent there only a few hours, since our flight was early in the morning, but everything was perfect.
Highly recommend. The only drawback that it is not very close to the city’s attractions, and situated on a busy street.
- Javed (10/5): close to the city - A nice place to stay with family. Staff very cordial and helpful especially Diana at the front desk.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great Hotel for the price - great hotel, just requires more staff . and oh by the way, there isn't any kind of ventilation and air Conditioning inside the room
