Frederique (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf gehad op een fantastische locatie. - Het uitzicht is fantastisch, direct op zee en de boulevard. Ruim appartement op de negende verdieping met twee badkamers en parkeergelegenheid. Gastvrouw zorgde voor alles wat je nodig hebt. Locatie was geweldig: aan het strand, bus naar het centrum van Porto voor de deur, leuke strandtentjes, groot en mooi park. Het interieur was hier en daar toe aan vernieuwing. Maar dat was niet heel storend.
Joel (10/5): Bel appartement avec vue sur la plage et hôtes très sympathiques - Accueillis par un couple très sympathique et très serviable (une fois nous avons laissé les clés à l’intérieur, sur un simple coup de fil ils sont venus ouvrir dans les 5 minutes et avec un grand sourire) nous avons pu nous installer dans ce très bel appartement après avoir garé notre véhicule au sous-sol de l’immeuble. L’appartement est grand, confortable et très bien situé face à la grande plage de Matosinhos que nous pouvions contempler depuis le balcon du séjour. Gostei muito dela e ela nos fez sentir muito à vontade, ela é muito atenciosa. Pensei que o apartamento que eu reservei tinha banheira na casa de banho. Mas nada a apontar.

Supermarket across the road which was a bonus. plenty of local food outlets and general shops. Bus and Metro to Porto easy to access. Fridge leaked water. Pigeons had nested on the main balcony

Javier (9/5): Muy agradable estancia en un gran apartamento con Increíbles vistas - Apartamento grande y muy bien equipado, con unas vistas increíbles, y una propietaria super amable. Parking privado. Creo que está un poco antiguo y sería aún más increíble con una renovación. El calentador de agua no funciona muy bien. En todo caso, decir que la propietaria, amabilísima, estuvo siempre disponible para subsanar cualquier deficiencia.

In der Nähe viele Restaurants (Casa Serrao), großer Supermarkt "Pingo doce", wo man auch mal schnell und günstig Frühstücken kann. Bus/Metrostation und Hop on/off Buslinie gleich in der Nähe. Schöner großer Balkon mit toller Aussicht. Parkgarage direkt unter dem Gebäude. gute Verbindung nach Porto und günstiger Uber Fahrer haben die Adresse nicht gefunden, Es ist wichtig, dass man sagt es ist am Escultura De Rede De Janet Echelman
Crowman33 (9/5): - Spacious, top floor 3 bedroom apartment in a great location with great sea views and with a wonderful owner, Bozena, who goes above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be. Cross the road and you are on the beach. Ideal for those who want some down time but visit Porto too. Foz do Douro is worth visiting close by either by taxi or walk along the coastline (about 2.5 miles). Porto is a 25 minute taxi ride away. Ubers are much cheaper than in the UK. Secure parking space under apartment block if you have a car. Excellent supermarket (Pingo Doce) just a minute's walk away. Many very good restaurants within 10 minute walk. All types of cuisine. Some parts of the apartment could do with a refresh/TLC. Pigeons on the Living room balcony do make some mess. Owner did offer to get them removed but as there was a squab that couldn't yet fly, we were happy to live beside them.

June (7/5): - Il y a une superbe vue du balcon par contre les pigeons sont très présents. C’est tout près de la plage et de l’arrêt de bus pour Porto. L’hôte est très sympathique et très accueillante! Par contre L’appartement n’est pas tel que les photos, aucune déco et très froid comme ambiance. Il y a également beaucoup de mauvaises odeurs…

Wilma (9/5): Wonderful place to relax. All good. - The host/owner was like a best friend and very helpful. This a great location for relaxing at the beach and enjoying fresh seafood. There is a wonderful grocery store with anything you would need across the street. The sunset and view was amazing. A few things were in ill repair and the host fixed them promptly. No complaints!

Der Tisch ist aus zwei sehr alten Hockern mit einer Marmorplatte zu niedrig und nicht schön, zwei unterschiedliche Stuhlarten, die weißen sind unschön. C.Nascimento (6/5): Foi bom , mas......... - Gostei da vista, da localização, perto de tudo, transportes ,supermercado e praia.A proprietária muito simpatica e atenciosa.Foi bom ter ar-condicionado, devido ao calor. As camas até eram confortáveis, o apartamento em si até era mais ou menos razoável, mas.......... Mas...... pelo preço que foi pago devia estar em melhor condições, em questão das varandas que não se podia ir devido a sujeita das pombas e as cadeiras deviam ser substituídas por outras novas, já continha muita ferrugem. As tv,s falhavam muito e tinha ocasiões não conseguiamos ver os canais que queriamos, os ropeiros deviam ter uma parte com gavetas para arrumar alguma roupa, pois a função que tem era razoável. O apartamento devia fazer uma pequena renovação para ficar 4 a 5 estrelas. E fornecer o que está na publicação, gel ou sabão para lavar as mãos, PS3 também não se encontrava no apartamento. Isso é o de menos. Mas disso tudo e mais algumas coisas até correu bem .

Philippe (8/5): Awesome location, great host! - Friendly host who met us on arrival and showed us around the building and apartment. Beach view. Great location (we didn’t want to stay in Porto proper (we preferred by the ocean) but Porto was only a 20-30 min drive away, so very convenient. Loved the Italian ice cream place downstairs and the beach walk a stone throw away. Going through the garage in some cases to get to the apartment was a bit gloomy. We much preferred the main entrance (to the beach and stores).

Alexandra (10/5): A perfect place - The apartment has everything one needs and is perfectly positioned. The beach is across the street, an excellent supermarket 1 minute away in a side street. Number 500 bus which takes you to Porto has its stop a couple of minutes away. Or you can walk along the seashore and stop for coffee or lunch (you must book for lunch!). Beautiful view from the balcony where we had breakfast and evening port every day is a joy. Božena is the most wonderful hostess whose kindness and hospitality cannot be adequately described. -

Marc (10/5): Great apartment with ocean view in Matosinhos! - Our host Bozena was absolutely terrific. She communicated with us from the moment we reserved and maintained in contact throughout our stay to make sure everything was ok. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, comfortable and has an ocean view. Downtown Porto is only about 10-15 minutes by UBER. Initially a little difficult to find the front entrance, I would recommend getting an eSim before you arrive so you can call when you get close to the building.
Leanne (10/5): Beautiful apartment giving the best of both worlds - We had the most amazing stay in the apartments. It was so lovely to experience both Matosinhos by the sea and jump in a taxi into Porto. The apartment was stunning with multiple views. The place was clean with so many extras including bikes, toiletries, chairs, snacks and my birthday was complete with some welcome wine from Bozena. She is the ultimate hostess with mostess. Her kindness and warmth excel all expectations, she truly made our trip.

The apartment was spacious, well equipped and well furnished. The hostess Bozena was on hand to ensure our stay was enjoyable with plenty of suggestions for dining and activities. Highly recommend this property. There was nothing to dislike!

T.moir (5/5): Great location, but Overall we were disappointed. The unit needed some attention & improvements. - We picked this apartment due to it's great location. Great view of the beach. Close to grocery store and restaurants. We booked this apartment because it had very high reviews, but unfortunately we were disappointed. The weather in March was cool so we required heating to stay comfortable. The owner told us the primary AC/heating units were broken and she was waiting for parts, so she gave us small space heaters to use. They were insufficient to warm the large apartment, and we found using the heaters and the dishwasher would blow the breaker. The apartment had a strong unpleasant smell coming from the fireplace. We mentioned this to the owner and she tried to make it go away with sprays, but was unable to change it. She too admitted she too had noticed the odor when we checked in. We would have loved to sit on the balcony with the great view over the beach. Unfortunately we could not use it as the furniture was very dirty from pigeon droppings. It looked like the balcony and furniture had not been cleaned for some time. The upstairs bath room sink did not drain properly. Every time we used it there was soapy water left in the sink as it would not all drain away. The heater or towel warmer in the main floor bathroom was not useable. It required a long extension cord to reach the electrical plug on the other side of the doorway, however we were not provided a cord to do this. We mentioned these items to the owner during our stay. She did try to fix the fireplace smell problem, and said she would be getting the other items tended to after we left.

The apartment was immaculate, sea views simply stunning watching the sunset. Alot of surfers so plenty to watch. Bozena simply couldnt do enough for us, sent loads of things to do, places to visit. 10/10 for service, apartment and location. Thank you

Jim (1/5): An expensive, disappointing mistake. - Location For the price we were very disappointed. The whole flat was filthy and the sofa was covered over with large curtains to cover the dirt and stains. The stools in the kitchen were even worse. The electrics were dangerous and hanging out of the wall. Draughts came In the doors and light sockets, making it very cold and they had to be covered with blankets. There was a jacuzzi without a tap to fill it and a heater with no socket, requiring you to use an extension lead to another room. Everywhere had to be thoroughly cleaned and the whole apartment was cold and impersonal as there were no personal touches (curtains or pictures). I could go on….!!!!

valerie (10/5): - As many reviews say, Bozena is a lovely, kind & friendly manager, very accessible and she speaks English very well. The building is quiet, near basic amenities - the grocery store in particular is very close by - and our suite was large and comfortable. If you want to go to Porto, the bus is the way to go for only 2.50 euros. The beach is right across the way and it is stunning. Matosinhos is a short ride to the train station and the airport as well. All in all, a great vacation!
Andrea (9/5): Superb - The building is right near the beach, and we had a lovely top floor apartment with spectacular views. The location. Is perfect with a great grocery store across the street that has a cafe. The bus and the Greyline Hop On/Off bus stops a hundred meters away, so it's easy to get into Porto. Our host was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

José (10/5): Exceptional host and perfect location for a relaxing stay - The apartment was comfortable and well-located, with a small terrace overlooking the sea, port and the promenade. Bozena, the host, was spectacular. She made us feel right at home and was very attentive to any questions or needs during our stay. She provided a beach umbrella, beach towels, scooter, bike, ball, among other amenities. There are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and ice cream shops in the area. Porto Sea Life is just a 15-minute walk away. Porto Airport is a convenient 15-minute car ride. N.A.
