- McFadden (3/5): The staff were excellent and super helpful but Other rooms are probably great but do not book a standard room would be m - We didn’t spend much time so I cannot really review Our room was noisy as we were in front of the stairs and on the road, we did not realise we booked a roadside room. The noise of motorbikes was all night so very little sleep. I think we probably got the worst 2 rooms in this hotel

The room description says hairdryers are provided, but there wasn’t one in our room. I called the front desk and I was told they didn’t have any available because the hotel was fully booked. That means there’s not one in every room as advertised. Other than that, the room was comfortable.
- Yodel91 (6/5): 総合的にOK - SMモール、Walking street とのフリーシャトルが非常に便利でした。一度SMモールから乗ろうと思いましたが来ませんでした。（来たけど駐車できずにどこかに行ったのかと推測しました）ピックアップ場所をしっかり確認してください。 セブンイレブンがすぐ横にあり便利です。 ロケーションは街から離れていますが、街のホテルは歓楽街近くでうるさそうなので、そういう意味では若干ですが静かな方かと思いました。 部屋のアメニティで水がついています。シャンプーとボディーソープ、歯ブラシもありました。 Wifiはちゃんと繋がって良いです。ベッドも寝心地良かったです。 プールの見えない部屋は、ただの部屋です。金額に対してコスパは良くありません。写真ほどきれいな感じではなく、古さが目立つので、少し高いと感じました。ちなみにプールは汚いからか誰も入っていませんでした。入れるようですが、実質飾りです。 ロケーションは、SMモールからかなり離れています。 また、壁が薄いというか、廊下の声など丸聞こえなので、壁に大きな隙間でもあるのかと思ったほどです。 フィリピン全体に言えるのかもしれませんが、シャワーの水圧はかなり心許ないです。桶で集めて流します。

If I had the funds available now Id buy the Hotel THe first week I had room 240 which was inundated with road noise. The Staff made adjustments the next stay.

- BoatGR (6/5): One of the originals in Angles - We didn't mind our time at the Clarkton. We only stayed one night in preparation for flights and the hotel did the job. Other reviews have mentioned the cigarette smoke, but we never experienced any of that and indeed our room had a "no smoking" sign near the bed. Facilities are basic, but the rooms are a good size. The pool and outdoor area are excellent. We didn't eat or drink at the hotel, however if you chose to do so you could. The location is great for flights, but a little away from the bright lights of walking street and certainly a drive away from Clark Mall which is huge. I first stayed at the Clarkton in the early 80's so it was great to see the improvements that have taken place. Would we stay here again? For sure for flight convenience, but not if we wanted the nightlife and mall.

- Truran (8/5): Great for Clark Airport - Great stopover for Clark Airport. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Although it is old & tired the staff work hard to make the best of it. The restaurant & pool area are smart. It is definitely worth paying extra for a room overlooking the pool. Staff were extremely helpful. They willingly stored some luggage for us while we were in Batanes for free. Also very reliable airport pick up & transfers arranged. There are a high number of mature white men with young Philippino girls staying at the hotel.

Langjähriges, freundliches Personal, schöner Pool und wegen der Abgeschlossenheit relativ ruhig trotz anliegender Hauptverkehrsstrasse. Die 24h - Küche liefert gute Menues in grosser Vielfalt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im rechten, älteren Flügel, Poolseite. Die sanitären Anlagen dieser Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen und sollten dringend erneuert werden. Unsere Dusche produzierte nur ein Rinnsal, das Lavabo ebenso.

- X9655QCpeters (2/5): Gastro Do not eat there. - I would point out how disappointed I am with the quality/hygiene of your restaurant given the rest of the Clarkton is such a wonderful experience. I have over the last few years stayed at the Clarkton sometimes in the most expensive rooms. Now, I want to note that staying in the Clarkton, March last, I experienced severe vomiting and diarrhea after eating an omelete, a morning breakfast. Within 30 minutes I hastened to my CR and spent the next 4 hours with vomiting and diarrhea. It quickly past and I recovered. Except my wife and a travelling companion, this episode was not reported to the staff at the Clarkton. Further to my experience, I discussed this with my ex brother in law, a 20 year plus resident of Angeles who along with his two Australian adult children had similar experiences with the food in the restaurant. Statutory Declarations can be supplied. The latest gastronomical event occurred more recently when we called an ambulance on our check-out from the hotel at 11:00 AM on October 9, 2025, and then we proceeded to Clark Medical City due to my severe stomach pain and continuous vomiting and diarrhea all without your assistance. Prior to this, my wife and I reported to your front desk regarding my condition, which began after we dined at your restaurant on the evening of October 8, around 8pm. At the hospital, the attending physician confirmed that my illness was a result of the food and or water intake at the last meal eaten when we dine in the restaurant. For references, I can supply copies of the medical results and hospital account. I did seek compensation firstly for my medical expenses and secondly for the pain and suffering along with the disruption to my holidays in the Philippines. I have respectfully requested the hotels accountability regarding this matter but there has been NO response or appropriate action. My wife and I have emailed the Clarkton with only an acknowledgement email in return. I cannot in all honesty recommend anyone to eat at the Clarkton restaurant. - FİLİZ (1/5): Terrible - Nothing at all The water pressure in the shower was extremely low. The hotel was incredibly noisy, and I couldn't sleep even for an hour throughout the night. The bed sheets did not appear very clean, and the sound insulation was terrible. Overall, the hotel is quite old and lacks basic amenities — there wasn’t even a hair dryer in the room. Very disappointing experience.

- leftovertoo (4/5): Smokers Paradise - A Smokers’ Paradise We recently stayed at Clarkton Hotel, a place we used to live near, and found several improvements worth noting—alongside some persistent drawbacks. Pros: - Excellent Staff: From the front desk to the restaurant and cleaning crew, everyone was friendly, professional, and attentive. - Improved Dining: The food has noticeably improved since our last visits. It’s now a solid option for on-site meals. - Clean Rooms: Housekeeping does a great job maintaining cleanliness throughout the property. Cons: - Bathroom Layout: The CR (comfort room) is quite small—tight for two people to move around comfortably. - Accessibility Issues: The property is dominated by stairs, including inside some pool-view rooms. Guests with mobility challenges should be cautious when booking. - Smoking Everywhere: This is the biggest issue. Smoking is allowed throughout the outdoor areas. At one point, every table around the pool had a smoker. Smoke drifts into the pool area, patios, and outdoor dining spaces. We avoided eating outside because of it. - Misleading Listing: One booking platform referred to the pool as a “water park”—it’s not. Given the smoke exposure, I wouldn’t recommend this place for children. Final Thoughts: Clarkton has charm and solid service, but if you're a non-smoker or traveling with kids, this may not be the right fit. We enjoyed the place during rare smoke-free moments, but those were few and far between.

- Sheryl (9/5): - We love all the staff from security guards to reception. They are all very helpful, always smiling and greeting customers. Veil, at the reception was very kind and nice and she made sure we had a comfortable stay. Shoutout to all the guards! They just don't control the traffic but also took our luggages inside the hotel, I appreciate them all. Food were good too! The only thing that's missing is an elevator esp for older people who have hard time taking the stairs . We also had luggages, though they helped us take them to the room, it would be better if there's easy access to the rooms for elderly people. But overall, It was excellent!
