• stephane MINTCHOV (9/5): Excellente rapport qualité prix et personnel super gentil - J'ai aimé la gentillesse du personnel de l'hôtel, le calme, l'emplacement de l'hôtel. C'était propre et un excellent rapport qualité prix. On peut même manger sur place car l'hôtel propose plusieurs plats si on ne veut pas reprendre la voiture pour aller manger. Rien a dire je reviendrai car j'ai ete tres content Je dirai que la douche est petite mais au vu du rapport qualité prix ce n'est pas un point négatif

• Paul (6/5): - Cheap and cheerful. Lovely staff, however, the room was tiny and there was no ventilation. One window with no vents or the ability to open or close it. The room smelt stale and the bathroom musty.

• Rdragons (7/5): Budget overnight stay at the French-Belgian-Border - Motel style hotel which was largely used by the French military. It is really basic, but was a quiet and cheap overnight stay at the Belgian border, exactly what we were looking for. For more amenities check out the Ibis Styles just opposite the parking space. As the budget breakfast room was reserved for the military, we could take breakfast at the Ibis Style.

The room was very plain and basic, there was a TV, but no kettle. But the hotel is very clean, quiet at night and the staff were lovely.

The hotel doesn't have air circulation system, the room can be damp without opening the Window. Then, prepare for noise. However, you get what you pay for. Overall, It's OK.

• goldwing1832 (8/5): Great little hotel - Stayed at petite foret on our way to and from bavaria.very clean rooms great breakfast and the couple who run it are very helpfull .there is a burger king next door or a buffalo grill but we find it expensive.across the road is a great patisserie. Just wish the vending machine in the reception was a little bit cheaper but other than that a nice place to stay for an overnight trip.

• arlc (8/5): Best Ibis Budget I stayed on - It's a budget hotel so very basic but the service was excellent. Reception was amazing and helped with our bags. Room was big and a good bathroom, although shower was a little tight. Breakfast was good, easy access, plenty of parking. Definitely recommend this place for a short stay.

• 937allank (10/5): Great value for "LESS" money - In a budget hotel. - This is properly the best low budget hotel i have been staying in - so far. !! Nice db room with beds arranged as double or twin beds. - Good beds to sleep in. Reception open 24/7. Small breakfast restaurant with a breakfast buffet - witch will make most guest satisfied. Coffee is very good. Near to highway - and not to much noise from traffic. Good parking facility. TV with several channels on - also 1 with English language. Free WiFi. Near big shopping center. Several restaurants and Burger King with in a distance of 2 - 7 min walk. Staff and Management are doing their best for the customer as it was at a 4-5 star hotel. I can only assure - If I am passing by this place on another trip - I will stop over there. - THERE WAS A FEW THINGS I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE: Aircondition. Baggage rag to place your suitcase on in the room. In-room refrigerator or icing machine in the hallway But I am aware - the hotel is managed by same system - so the individual hotel can probably not make to many individual choices.

As I live almost 200 kms from the place where the dinner took place, I decide to book a hotel close by the venue. No regrets whatsoever, I have a space in the parking lot. Around the hotel there are quite some restaurants. This hotel is very convenient as it is very close to the highway. Its personnel is very friendly and gentle. The room was clean and had every thing I needed for my short stay.

There are a number of restaurants within walking distance. Can recommend 'Flunch' in the nearby shopping centre.They serve a buffet meal at a very reasonable price,ideal for families.Would certainly use this hotel again and give it top marks.
• Srd186428 (8/5): Very Nice Stay (Euro 2016 Trip) - We stayed here during June for the European Championships. 5 of us stayed and had 2 Rooms. 1 Triple and 1 Double. The Rooms are quite small but plenty of room just for a basic stay. The shower is lovely and the beds are comfy. The rooms are cleaned daily and fresh bed sheets and towels are provided daily. The Hotel is about 4 miles from the town of Valenciennes but the area has plenty of places to eat and shop close by. There is free Wi-Fi at the Hotel and this works really well. The Staff at the Hotel are very helpful and speak good English. All in all a very positive stay.
• andycY5513LS (10/5): Euro 2016 trip - Very clean & tidy accommodation. Staff very helpful & friendly. Ideally located near a major road network & also restaurants/shops. It is located on a large retail park. Plenty of parking spaces outside. Really enjoyed our stay here! Was ideally located due to having tickets for the euro 2016 games at Lille & Lens. Breakfast also available for a reasonable price, plenty of choice. Rooms were clean & tidy, towels replaced daily. Tv had plenty of channel choice. Only gripe, no kettle in the room with tea/coffee. I'd like to make a special mention for the manager, who was extremely helpful & very kind to us. It was much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!
• g4shf (6/5): Third time - This is our third visit which tell you all you need to know really - nothing has changed. Staff friendly (English spoken). Buffalo Grill and McDonalds next door. Auchan and Flunch across the road. Plenty of car parking. Typical Ibis Budget room - you get what you pay for - but perfectly good enough for us. If you want cheap and cheerful, just off the motorway and somewhere nearby to eat this is for you.
• 611kevina (10/5): Fantastic gem of a hotel! - This hotel and especially the staff and management were all exceptional. The hotel is situated out of town but has a car park and is within very easy walking distance of places to eat and drink and a large shopping mall. The hotel is easily accessible by car and also a bus from the local train station in Valenciennes. the room was comfortable, clean and had everything you needed for a short or long stay for a budget price. The receptionist was very welcoming and explained everything about the hotel and local facilities (including free wifi) without even being asked. In addition, the owners were very friendly and looked after the interests of their guests. This was demonstrated one morning when a number of guests were seeking taxis to the railway station only to find none were available. The owners then stepped in to organise a shuttle service which ensured nobody missed their train connections. Highly recommended
• andrewtI3562PV (8/5): Good overnight - Large triple room was very clean and in good condition. Beds were comfortable, quiet and thus a good night's sleep ensued. Ther are a variety of eating places in the immediate vicinity as well as a supermarket.
• g4shf (6/5): Perfectly acceptable budget hotel - Practicalities : on a site next to the motorway with a couple of other hotels and fast food places. Across the road (easy walk) is a large Auchan with Flunch attached. Also a fuel station. No lift so if you have mobility problems request a ground floor room. Satnav took us straight there - but sharp turn just off the motorway. Hotel is in two blocks – the main one and an annex – rooms are identical. Fair amount of car parking but the hotel has a fair number of rooms so try to get there reasonably early (hotel was full whilst we were there). Receptionist spoke good English. Standard Ibis Budget room and breakfast – cheap and cheerful. As long as you are happy with Ibis Budget's cheap and cheerful approach there's little not to like about this hotel, and this was our second visit. Good location by the motorway and plenty of eating options within walking distance.
