• Nicole (10/5): A perfect stay - From the minute I booked this property the communication was spot on. The location was absolutely perfect with only a 10-15 minute stroll into sorrento centre. It was a perfect base to be able to spend day trips into positano, amalfi and capri but coming back to sorrento every evening. The room was spotless, and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast included was an added bonus, it set us right up for our day ahead. I booked this as a surprise for my mums 60th and it was so nice to start the day with granola, yoghurt, fruit and a lovely cup of coffee. The garden was absolutely beautiful. Access to the property was easy and it felt really safe. Plenty of restaurants near by in sorrento centre and some local ones round the corner. I would definitely stay again. The shower was very small but it worked for myself and my mum.

However, our room was located right next to the road, which made it very noisy, especially at night. In addition, the TV in our room not working well. Too noisy at night

• Anthony (6/5): Very disappointed! - Our room was very small, no outdoor space, patio, balcony, terrace, just a small window to the front with blinds that were fixed closed. The bathroom had a very odd shaped shower that was tiny & needs a deep clean & attention. Rest of the bathroom was huge. Towels were grey/very used & ready for updating. Breakfast was a car fest, 4 cats roaming around outside, ants all over the food tables. Basic continental choices. Best thing about the hotel was the ability to use another hotel about 15min walk way. This was beautiful & the standard we are used to. We spent all day at that hotel & ate there. Used the sky lounge there too, this was fabulous. Wished we could have changed or booking but we were only at Don Antonio 2 nights so put up with it. Only had breakfast 1 morning. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, very disappointed for what we paid

The room, with its classic charm, was spacious and full of comfort, while the lemon garden offered a peaceful escape where every step felt refreshing. Pina and the staff welcomed us with genuine warmth that made us feel at home. The breakfast was simply divine—I still find myself longing to return just to taste it again. For anyone planning to explore Capri, Amalfi, or Positano by ferry, this hotel is a perfect haven near the port, blending convenience with timeless beauty.

• Brandon (10/5): - 10/10 experience. The hotel staff was so nice, providing us with directions, and restaurant recommendations during our stay. Our favourite part of the hotel has to be the included breakfast. The hotel backs onto a beautiful garden where they host a buffet style breakfast every morning. Anyone looking to stay in Sorrento should definitely stay here!
• Nicholas (10/5): Convenient and great size room - Loved our stay in Sorrento, 10 mins walk to the centre and very easy for public transport. Staff were very friendly and helped us to get around the city and to the events we had planned. Room was big and great when travelling on a long trip to spread out and relax. Breakfast was nice and in a nice little garden where you see cute cats roamong.
• Thomas (10/5): Amazing Sorrento Trip. - The staff were very friendly and helpful. Giving us recommendations on what to do and where to go for dinner in Sorrento. There was great bars and restaurants near to the hotel and the main piazza of Sorrento was only about a 10 minute walk away. You can get to Pompeii easily, with an early coach near to the hotel to Pompeii. Overall an amazing trip. The room was perfect and the breakfast each morning was great within the beautiful grounds of the hotel. Also we were able to use a joint 5 star hotel for free which was amazing to relax.
• Will (10/5): Excellent stay - An excellent place to stay in Sorrento. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s a little outside the main square so it’s not as busy but is very easy to walk there.

Would definitely recommend and would stay there again. Being able to use the swimming pool at the 5 star sister hotel was an added bonus.

Giovanni was a great help with luggage and suggestions for Sorrento and Angela supported our check out and late breakfast options. The place was amazing with great views and plenty of space to relax and get set up. Pretty much walking distance to everything. Great place and definitely would recommend for a quiet relaxing getaway with some cute and unique scenery!!

• Claire (10/5): A clean, comfortable hotel set in pretty gardens - Great location with a short walk to Tasso Piazza. The front of the hotel is on a busy street but you’d never know as the rooms are set back in pretty gardens. Everything is clean and the bed comfortable…. We slept well! The breakfast was superb and varied. From yoghurt to continental to bacon and eggs. And not forgetting the warm, friendly & attentive staff. A perfect place to stay for our 2 days in Sorrento for a wedding. Nothing

• William (10/5): Amazing Hotel! - Sorrento is a beautiful city, and our experience was made more incredible by our stay at the Don Antonio Relais Hotel. The property is amazing, and Giovanni and Pina were so kind and helpful. The hotel is like a home away from home with a wonderful breakfast and some sweet cats roaming the property. It's within walking distance of Piazza Tasso and all of the amazing restaurants and stores in the heart of Sorrento.

The use of the 5* sister hotel pool and pool bar was a massive bonus, always managed to get beds if arrived before 11am, great addition and made it even more luxury!

• denirokeane (8/5): Citrus vines and outdoor breakfasts - Wonderful little hotel. Great outdoor space the the rear and a citrus orchard in the grounds. Breakfast is great outside under the vines. The room was large, very large. Clean and functional. Overall a lovely place. The only downside was that the road at the front is very busy/noisy so you can’t have the windows open and as a result the room can be a bit dark. But overall great place to stay and comes recommended. 5 minute walk into the centre of the town.

• Nicole (10/5): - Amazing stay! My mum and I absolutely enjoyed our visit from New Jersey. Angela always had a smile on her face, and she was always ready to help. She gave us a map of Sorrento which included some amazing restaurants and activities. We’re already planning our next visit!!! 10/10 all the way. The location is also in close proximity to lots of shopping areas, restaurants, and a quick walking distance to the trains/buses to Napoli, Pompeii, Positano, and the Amalfi Coast.
• Alison (8/5): - Very nice hotel not too far away from the main square. Is situated by a busy road so not very relaxing when sitting on the balcony which is a shame as it is a great space for the attic suite. The light switches in the suite were a bit temperamental, sometimes they had to be flicked several times before they worked. The blinds for the windows are situated inside the glazing and operated by a switch (not explained to us when we arrived) and whenever we tried to use the switch, the blinds did not work. The receptionist had to keep popping in to sand paper the contacts so that they would work. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very nice. It was lovely to sit in the garden to eat. The swimming pool at the sister hotel is excellent and is about a 15 minute walk away.

• TARANJIT (10/5): - This is definitely a hotel I'd rebook! The staff was super helpful as soon as we got there and were also very responsive via text. The location couldnt possibly be more perfect as its a close distance walk to everything, but still quiet. The property is so beautiful and our room and bathroom were very spacious. I wish i knew how to work the AC as it got quite hot at times and I'm Canadian so i do like sleeping in the cold.

Courtyard for breakfast was sweet however only able to eat there if it isn’t raining. In that case, we received room service which was delivered with kindness.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Only improvement would be to upgrade the room air conditioning, as it did not seems to adequately cool the room ( but was very hot outside during our stay), and start breakfast at 7 or 7:30am ( in order to meet ferry rides and transportation schedules for 8am ). Otherwise, Overall excellent place to stay, reasonable price. We would definitely stay at Don Antonino Relais again!
• JoanneandWallace (10/5): THE BEST LOCATION WITH THE BEST STAFF! - We spent 11 nights at this hotel, using Sorrento as a base for most of our trip. We had no regrets! From the get-go, Pina and Angela were so incredibly helpful, permitting us to postpone our trip until late August. We were originally to visit in May, but could not for health reasons. We took the taxi transfer from Naples to Sorrento, and really enjoyed our driver who gave us a lot of information on the area. The hotel is very well situated. We enjoyed using the fabulous pool area at their sister building, a five star hotel located a 15 minute walk away. Even though we were not guests at that hotel, we were welcomed with no hesitation. Breakfast at Don Antonino Relais is outside in the courtyard, and it is in the shade. We enjoyed the breakfast selection and the made-to-order coffees. The staff is helpful and kind. The historical old city is about 20 minutes away (we don't walk fast). Sorrento is wonderful, and contrary to the Amalfi Coast towns, it is relatively flat. We would not hesitate to stay there again. • Elaine (6/5): Pleasant - The room was comfortable and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was served in the garden and it was very nice - lots of choice. When you book please check which room you are in. Unfortunately we were put in room 101 (yes. really!) and it’s a very bad room to have. It’s on the ground floor by the front door (which slams shut whenever anyone enters) - as there are only a handful of rooms this is mostly a minor irritant. However most importantly is the fact that this room backs directly on to the main road. In fact the traffic passes DIRECTLY behind your head as you attempt to sleep. We needed the fan on all night to make white noise but it still didn’t blot it out. (We didn’t need a fan for any other reason as the air con was good). The only openable window is on to the main road and is too high to reach anyway. All other windows are Internal and the lights in the hallway are left on all night. The blinds don’t stop the light. There are additional curtains which help a bit. So if you take this room bring earplugs and eye mask! The hotel should really make all of this clear when booking. For a reduced rate someone might be happy to take it. I did say this to Pina so am not saying anything surprising here. And I don’t wish the hotel - or any business - any harm - once again the staff were lovely and I’m sure if you had one of the other rooms you would be delighted with the place but sadly our experience wasn’t good and I’m surprised not to see any other reviews saying the same, unless they don’t normally let out this room and we were just very unlucky. However for what we paid it really wasn’t good enough - I do feel annoyed about the amount of money we spent on this. I feel like we stayed in a different hotel to the majority of people who have reviewed the hotel on this website. Sadly I wouldn’t stay again.

• Anum (10/5): Lovely hotel in the heart of Sorrento - Lovely property close to the main area. Room was absolutely amazing, very intimate for a couple. Lots of space available and had a private little balcony area as well. Facilities were fantastic, had everything we needed. Pina was an excellent host, very helpful with any of our needs and informative. Everything was amazing..couldn't fault it.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - When you arrive, you have to carry your own luggage up a ramp, then up stairs, then down stairs to get to the “office/front desk” to check in. No help was offered with luggage. The room, was clean, but the bed was very basic and uncomfortable. We had asked the hotel representative to schedule a transfer from Sorrento to Bomerano (starting point of Path of the Gods). It was. 45 minute drive. The charge was 225 EUR, we talked them down to 200EUR, but found out later we could have gotten the transfer for 150EUR

The staff were super helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of freshly made sweet and savory items. The grounds were just lovely, and perfect for passing some quiet time just reading and relaxing. The location is a little bit of a walk from the city center, but really not too bad and well worth it to stay in such a lovely spot!
• Carol701 (10/5): Hidden Gem in Sorrento! - We stayed here for three nights and had a wonderful stay. Upon arrival, Pina gave us a big welcome and showed us around the property. She also suggested we go to Mama Che Pasta, which we did, and loved it! Pina also told us that we would have access to a local hotel pool (The Metropolitan). We took the ten minute walk there and it was well worth it. It’s a beautiful hotel and the pool was very refreshing. The hotel is also located on the water and the views were spectacular. We stayed in the Villa Lena building and loved it. The air conditioning worked very well and the room was decorated beautifully. The grounds are kept very well and we loved walking underneath the lemon and orange trees as we went to and from our room. The breakfast area is very nice and the breakfast was plentiful. We were very sad to check out for our flight home, but will most definitely return on our next trip to Sorrento! Thank you, Pina and staff at Don Antonino Relais, for a wonderfully restful stay!

• Cortney (4/5): - Stayed here for 5 nights as two women travelers would not recommend to fellow female travelers as it did not feel secure or safe. Our room was at the front of the property with the window located directly over our bed easily accessible from the Main Street and could hear the street traffic all hours of the night. While the property does require a keycard to access, one night a man came up to us as we were opening the door and pulled the door aggressively from us and rushed in. It was startling and we feared we were about to be mugged. I notified the property manager, Angela, who did not seem to care. She responded after 20 minutes and said she reviewed the cameras and it was the husband of a worker of the grounds - no apology or acknowledgment we of his startling behavior. Meanwhile we were on the verge of calling the police. Mold on the ceiling shower. Breakfast start ing at 8 did not align with our daily tours that also started at 8.

• Mary (10/5): Stay in the midst of a beautiful orchard! - What a lovely lemon and orange orchard hosting a lovely place to stay! Yes, your quarters will be right in the midst of a beautiful orchard. Our room (one of the simpler ones) was clean and comfortable. Pina was a friendly and very helpful host. Don Antonio had the best free breakfast spread by far of all the places we stayed and was a real treat. A great place to park is available if you have a car, safe and convenient. The only potential downside is that it is about a 12 minute walk to downtown Sorrento -- fine if you're able-bodied, but a bit of a haul if you're not able-bodied.

• Yunkyung (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was exceptional. We had a bit of a problem with our room due to a Sorrento-wide blackout, and had to switch rooms middle of the night. The staff made sure it was a seamless transition and found solutions to all our problems. Angela was always there to greet and help us in every way possible, she really made the stay extra memorable. Favorite part of the entire stay was the breakfast served in the garden, the atmosphere was beautiful and the selection quite fulfilling. Nothing.
