• Steven (8/5): If you want a private and more personal resort experience this is it El Cabarete Spa Resort. - The small and private resort is perfect not liking a 1000 people around me this was more personal. The Staff Moise, Ebson, Lenny, Isiah, Christina thank you guys so much my family really enjoyed you guys. All inclusive means just that I paid a lot of money for 3 nights and I should have never been told that certain food items on the menu was a extra charge.

Quiero destacar el excelente servicio de Moisés e Isaías; fueron un amor, muy atentos y amables en todo momento, salvaron gran parte de nuestra estadía. Además, la comida tiene muy buen sazón, felicitaciones al chef. Lamentablemente, las instalaciones no cumplen con lo prometido. Las habitaciones tienen un fuerte olor a humedad y encontramos cucarachas. Tuvimos una experiencia terrible con una habitación que se inundó por fallas en la tubería/inodoro, dañando equipaje personal. Además: ​El jacuzzi no calienta. ​Hay moho en el área de la piscina (suites superiores). ​La recepción es ineficiente: check-in lentísimo y una actitud de "no" ante cualquier solicitud sin dar soluciones. ​Falta información clara sobre las reglas del hotel y limitan demasiado las porciones de comida (solo un plato fuerte) y bebidas.

The main person to check us in was not there, so the lady took us to a room. She told us that whenever the gentleman came he could properly check us in. The location was not in the best area. The entrance was ok, but the road was not the best. There was water in the pool that looked old and green. We were given a room, but before we went inside, the lady taking us there sprayed something very strong in the room. A while later, the front desk person came to the room, letting us know we needed to properly check-in. We did and told him the room had a musty smell even after the sweet lady sprayed. He changed our room and gave us a "couples" room with lots of hearts. In the move, I left my earphones charging in the other room and didn't realize it. I tried calling a few times but no luck. I lost my nice and favorite earphones.

They did not match what was explained in the description which is something that should not happen. The pool was dirty and contaminated with insects. The fridge in the room had rust and was dirty. The AC did not work at its best. The door to the room did not function correctly. Overall disappointment.
