We are a family of four and the kids felt very comfortable during our stay. - The best thing about this property is it’s very close to Southern Cross, Flinders St and bus/tram stations. It’s an apartment style which is very handy. It also has an amazing view from the balcony at night and the indoor pool. If you are a light sleeper this accommodation might not suit you as you can hear the street noise at night which was very hard for me. There were also some people partying in another floor or building from midnight to early morning and it was too loud all through out. I thought there was a strict rule about this. There was no small face towels and only one tea towel in the kitchen.

- Mark (2/5): Nice place on first impression but you soon notice the damage and dirt. Watch out the landlord will try to cheat you for - This property looks great - but the owner does not care about the cleanliness of this place or damage existing in the property. They even tried to cheat me by attempting to charge me for ‘stained carpets’. I actually spent time cleaning and vacuuming the place when I left . Location is good. Nasty cheating landlord - do not recommend!
(OK it does have adequate pots and pans, cutlery and a washer/drier + lots of cleaning materials and a vacuum etc. As per previous reviews, I also recommend bringing your own tea towel to dry things after washing up - there is none provided.) This place is DIRTY! Windows not clean. Balcony ridiculously dirty. Shower head broken. Floors just plain dirty. You should clean up the place before guests arrive. See the photos attached. They cannot even afford getting a simple table from IKEA - so the cover a grossly damaged table with a blanket!
I am just reading previous reviews and they talk similarly about poor cleaning - and even one guest on the 12 January stated the shower head was broken - and yet 3 weeks later it was not repaired for my own stay. My new review is now a 2 from a previous 3 due to this fact. It is not a 1 as the location and views are good. If you don't listen to tenants or apply any nuance of customer service to remedy problems or even try to cheat people - then you will lose customers. Basics of business! (This second paragraph is in response to the landlords last comment) Just repair these simple items for the next people!

- Joseph (7/5): Central and convenient. - Central to the CBD transport. Apartment is fitted out well. Two bathrooms is good. Balcony and fresh air is good. But beds were appalling! It is a noisy apartment next to the rail and police so a lot of sirens. It faces directly west so with the long days is very hot in summer. The beds were an insult. Worse than cheap ikea. Not good for big people, why skimp on this? Upgrade these and you would move a few stars up.

- Whitney (10/5): Definitely will rebook. - We had an amazing stay at WOW on Spencer Street. The facilities and amenities were great, and the beds were very comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind.
The location was unbeatable — close to everything — and the views were absolutely beyond fabulous. Waking up to those views truly made the stay special.
Highly recommend and would happily stay again. The check-in procedure was easy and straightforward. One small suggestion would be to improve the directions by using a clearer nearby landmark rather than the 7-Eleven, as this was a little confusing and could be better directed.

Quite apartment.Bathrooms and kitchen supplies are complete. The bed is not that comfortable,esp inmain bedroom,but it's ok.
Under bed in master bedroom need to be clean,pillow sofa covers need to be soak and wash from stains.
TV needs to be upgraded into smart Tv and add Netflix,etc.
- Andrea (7/5): - Obwohl wir spät angekommen sind, ist alles gut gelaufen. Wir konnten den Schlüssel am angegebenen Ort abholen. Die Aussicht und Lage sind sehr schön. Es war alles sehr gut zu erreichen. Perfekt für einen Melbourne Aufenthalt. Das Cafe "Higher Ground" direkt unter unter dem Block ist sehr gut. Die Badezimmer waren soweit sauber, aber in beiden Bädern waren die Toilettenbürsten kaputt. Die Esszimmerstühle waren sehr wackelig und auch die Couch hatte schon einige "Parties" überlebt. Der Balkon war nicht sehr sauber. In den Kunstpflanzen lag ein Lolli. Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn wir für eine Woche mehr Handtücher zur Verfügung gehabt hätten. Auch für die Sauna waren keine extra Handtücher vorhanden.

Kitchen plug was broken, air conditioner didn't work by controls. Lounge suit needs a clean, loose door handle in 1st bathroom. However these are easy fixes.

The host will lie to you to get the booking and when you turn up and aren’t happy, they do not support - The location is the ONLY good thing about this property As an asthmatic, it is very important for me to have air conditioning in the rooms I sleep in. Before booking this property, I very clearly confirmed with the host whether there was air conditioning in the bedrooms. They replied that each bedroom had a split system air conditioner plus another in the living area. A couple of weeks after this I reconfirmed this information and they very clearly confirmed this same information yet again. When I checked in, there is not one air conditioner or fans whatsoever in the bedrooms and only 1 small unit in the living area. I immediately called the host to complain. They refused to help out. They refused to move us to another of their properties and they refused to fairly compensate me except to offer a paltry $50 refund, it should’ve been a minimum of $50 per night!
I complained to booking.com showing all the message on their messaging system and I recommended this host have all their properties removed from the platform for downright lying or at best, negligent incompetence of staff knowledge.
Also, the quality of the furnishings are all poor. Everything is low quality ikea crap furniture. Every table and desk is wobbly, all chairs are uncomfortable and the beds are low, poor supporting and even have broken slats in the main bed. There was also an electric light switch broken in the ensuite.
A very very poor quality apartment, poor knowledge from the hosts of the apartments fixtures and poor knowledge on how to treat genuine customers who have been lied to and been ripped off on what is meant to be a memorable holiday. It was memorable, but for all the wrong reasons!

- Debra (8/5): Amazing View. Sensational for train or Skybus entry/exit of Melbourne. Did not want to leave. - The view is amazing. Hosts are very responsive. Easy access by car or public transport. Sensational locaton in central Melbourne making it very easy to roam in any direction...or stay and enjoy the view. I never like picking up keys offsite however pickup was close and easy. Property is getting a little worn but the view did make up for any shortcomings. Due to location there is a bit of city noise.

- Jessica (6/5): Holiday in Melbourne - The location was amazing and view was beautiful place was beautiful pool area was very big very close to lots of locations and near the free trams police station super market and lots of shops How you have to collect the keys and drop them off was really hard check intime was so busy trying to find a park to collect the keys from a 7/11 was hard and trying to leave then find a park to run the keys back up to the room was hard aswell we didn't use any of the pots or pans or plates due to them being dirty and mayby add some extra blankets incase it's cold as there wasn't any extra the walls also had lots of marks on them in all rooms

Shower is terri - The view was the best feature & the location was great The price was crazy at $500 a night for how old the apartments were. Walls were mostly stained in every room and was quite dirty everywhere. The appliances were old & the shower isn’t adjustable so it sprays at your neck. Definitely won’t stay here again
- Jenel (7/5): - For the price we paid, the property is decent. View of the city and close to everything, plenty of coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Apartment is complete with amennities like washing and drying. There was a refundable $400 security deposit that was paid on a third party link and not directly to booking.com... If there will be issues with your security payment refund - booking.com will not be able to help you as it is not through their website.
Also, the dishwasher pipe was leaking when we woke up in the morning it was flooding all over the floor and even came inside to our bedroom, we needed to clean it as otherwise we will keep walking on it.
We used the car park and the location of the car park was quite difficult to go in as it is situated in a very busy street.
However, overall if you are on a budget, the place is decent enough.

- Lynn (8/5): A very pleasant time and will definitely recommend! - The location is great, just opposite Spencer Outlet Centre and near Southern Cross station. The apartment we got is really true to the photos you see on Booking.com. It’s spacious and cosy. The washing machine and separate dryer is a huge plus, especially when you’re there during winter. Hot water showers and strong water pressure. The lighting at the living room is not very adequate as the warm lighting can make it look very dark at night and hard to watch tv, the whole living area is quite dim.

Tiếc là mùa đông nên k thể ngồi bàn ăn ngoài ban công được. Địa điểm ngay cạnh ga Southern cross tiện đi lại & shopping. Tôi có 3 người được cấp 3 chìa khoá nên cũng thoải mái trong việc đi lại. Ánh sáng hơi tối. Chỗ bàn ăn & máy giặt không có đèn nên tôi phải dùng đèn điện thoại. 1 phòng tắm không có thông gió nên hơi bí. Tôi ở 3 đêm 4 ngày nhưng chỉ được cung cấp 1 túi nilon đựng rác??? Giấy lau bếp cũng để lại 1 vài tờ còn sót lại từ lần thuê trước? Các thiết bị hơi cũ. Phòng nhỏ hơn so với hình dung của tôi. Nếu bạn muốn gửi hành lý thì bạn sẽ phải trả tiền!

Not a good start to the trip
- Krystal (4/5): Very disappointed 😔 - The location When we got there it was not the room pictured above we were charged an extra $100 to upgrade to a deluxe room when in fact we got the opposite. There were no face cloths there was no top shape provided on the bed we had one towel to last us 8 days The walls were heavily marks The skirting boards were so dusty The window tracks were moldy The ornamental plants were so dirty we wrote Eww in the dust on the leaves That's how thick the dust was. The TV was tiny maybe 16 inches with cables hanging out everywhere. We did not get the room as pictured above our balcony was tiny it was about 1.2 m by 1 m it had a couple of clothes horses out on it with some rusty old metal drawers with a broken top which we placed into the wardrobe so we could actually stand out there it was extremely dusty I don't know when the last time it was washed down we did not have the floor to ceiling windows or an outdoor area to sit as pictured above we couldn't see the river or The harbor bridge we replaced on the side of the building on the dark side of the hallway.we were looking straight on to the police station we couldn't see sunsets or sunrises. The furniture was extremely budget and original to win the apartment was built I would say The rooms were big enough for a bed that was about it. To say the lease we were extremely disappointed My father had just passed away and we thought we'd have a beautiful room a nice haven to relax in, instead we ended up spending 90% of our time away from our room. The pillows on the bed will obviously very budget and thin. It was far from a deluxe room. If you had four people staying it only had a three-seater couch one person would have to sit on the floor. We raised our concerns when we first got there and told booking.com shows a variety of rooms. So pretty much that just saying it was potluck and it wasn't the at fault it's on booking.

- Rach (8/5): Room with a View - We stayed 5 nights and got to know the area a little. Loved the views from the 41st floor, and great to have such a spacious, 2 room apartment. The gym, pool, and rock-climbing areas were great, as was the outdoor garden area.
Very convenient to be right near Southern Cross Station. Staying 5 nights we would have loved more than 1 towel each, and a complimentary towel for the pool could have been a nice touch.
- Kylie (6/5): Location perfection but needing a good scrub down. - The location is brilliant. Great sized apartment with all amenities. The cleanliness, the whole apartment needs a scrub. Hair in the bed, fingerprints on the windows, grotty showers. Highly suggest a deep clean would make the apartment so much more comfortable.
This was not something that the owners could remedy in a few minutes hence why we didn’t contact them.

- Erika (8/5): Fantastic central position - Wow Apartment on Spencer had a fantastic central Melbourne position. The apartment also had a great gym with well looked after equipment and a lovely pool to swim laps. Great position and amenities.

We loved the balconies and the apartment was spacious enough for 4 of us and quite comfortable. Apartment has everything you need and having a carpark included was great. The cleaning could be a lot better. There was hair on the bathroom floor when we arrived, bugs in the corners of the ceiling in the main bedroom and the oven unfortunately looked like it had never been cleaned, we were going to cook one of the nights but we couldn’t use the oven as it smoked so much we were worried it would set off the smoke alarm. The tv only worked on a couple of channels aswell so could use an upgrade.
There was Sticky tape residue on some of the windows which could be cleaned off. Other than those things the apartment was a great stay, but for the price the cleanliness and tv could be a lot better to make the stay an even better experience.

They replaced the iron and iron cover once we communicated they were left damaged. Their communication is very good - with photos included. Minor points
Would be good to add to the information that if you come in from level 5 car park and the service lift is being used you will need to switch over to the other lifts at level 2 or 6, i.e. only the service lift will go direct to the apartment from the car park.
We have bruises from the corner of beds - they need to have foam added as very tight in the bedroom and too easy to hit the corner of the beds.
