Bingjie (1/5): - On the morning of our check-out day, after having breakfast outside and getting ready to go back to our room to do the final packing and tidying up, and to check if we had left anything behind, we were shocked to see three housekeeping staff doing the room cleaning and almost done. It was outrageous. It wasn't the check-out time yet, and we hadn't checked out at the reception. We still had some things in the room, but they had thrown them all away（include personal items) with other garbage. I immediately asked them why they had rushed into the room. Their answer was that they had knocked on the door but got no response. When I went to the front desk to complain, the manager just brushed me off with a simple "Everyone makes mistakes." I said that he should properly train these people. What if it happened again? But the manager was not at all patient and quickly threw some money at me to get me to leave. He compensated us for the food in the fridge that we hadn't eaten yet, but glared at me with his eyes. The experience was so bad. In the end, I had to rely on my memory to think about what I hadn't packed and what was missing. In short, the experience was extremely bad and made me feel very insecure.

My son loves the water options - slides, big calm pool & smaller kids water playground. I missed having an oven in the cabin but was happy to discover one in the camp kitchen!

Robert (8/5): It was good and we will return - It had everything we needed except an A/C in the boys bedroom. A tray for the oven to heat taco shells etc. The TV reception was very weak. Loved being able to have a laundry and be able to take home all clean clothes. Mainly not being able to watch channel 10 Xmas movies as the reception was too week, and no A/C in one bedroom, we went out and bought a tray so we could heat things up in the oven that could not be heated in the microwave.

Jan (5/5): - The pool area was great. The activities program was a bonus for the kids. The cafe was good and staff mostly friendly. Staff member Rachel is great and tried to help her best. Our family holiday was disrupted but the park mistakenly cancelling one of our rooms. This has been confirmed by booking.com. Then they claimed it was our fault, then blamed booking.com. Everyone except themselves. Our payment was made and acknowledged via email from the park. The Manager was rude and abrupt completely unapologetic. He suggested we give us a full refund. For one room when we had the rest of the family there? No room for first night. Then room by cafe with no carport in middle of road almost. And implied we should be grateful. No we are not. The deluxe cabin we booked had a lounge that was deteriorated badly. The stove had one rack, one dish and all marking were rubbed off so no idea what the settings were. The tongs broke and it was a long way from what I'd consider deluxe. The other cabin was old, needed and upgrade and repaint. The free to air TV was not working. We will never stay there again and recommend you check your bookings if you decide to give it a try. Really not a good experience. Very average.

The shower was good. We were able to catch up on some laundry the following morning. The bed could perhaps do with a new more comfortable mattress.

Maren (10/5): It's Worth It!!! - This year from Fri to Sun, 8-10 August 2025, I stayed in Cabin 146, an ideal location between the Function Hall and Dining Hall. Again, I was there again at Discovery Park for the Church Family Camp. I loved that it was one level.. I loved that I could check-in a little bit earlier than 2pm, and being greeted by a friendly receptionist is always a great way to start a wonderful experience The cabin was warm, esoecially when it was cold outside; bed and pillows were comfortable, so I had no problems with a good night's sleep I loved the warm showers, too Again, the issue with Wi-Fi, which interfered with TV viewing, and again it wasn't a hugh problem because I was not there to watch television Where it rained a bit, there was no dry area to be able to leave my shoes outside. I couldn't even leave them on the outdoor table. I had to bring them indoors. So, having a mat just inside would have helped. I had to resort to using the shower mat. (Sorry, Cleaners)
