Décoration soignée dans un magnifique immeuble. Literie vraiment confortable. De bons produits d’hygiène. Machine à café dans la chambre. Situation géographique excellente. Accueil formidable de Kosta avec beaucoup d’information sur les randonnées pédestres et autres. La dame responsable de l’entretien quotidien est vraiment sympathique, chaleureuse, elle fait son travail de façon remarquable et dans la bonne humeur. Son anglais est parfait, tout comme Kosta. Un grand merci pour tout!
• PGM&MPT (10/5): Ottima struttura, ottima posizione e isola molto interessante e piacevole. - Bellissima stanza, posizione perfetta, bagno molto confortevole e staff di altissimo livello. La città di Ermoupoli merita la visita, ed e' viva, elegante, piacevole e variata. La sua vicinanza a diverse spiagge molto belle rende l'ubicazione molto pratica e interessante. Non dimenticate di visitare il teatro Apollon e le cattedrali cattolica e ortodossa.

Central location walking distance to all the best cafes, restaurants and bars of Syros. Molton Brown amenities were also a nice touch. Η τοποθεσία του καταλύματος άψογη, ακριβώς στην καρδιά της Ερμούπολης, με όλα σε απόσταση λίγων λεπτών με τα πόδια. Πολύ σημαντικό επίσης το ότι η πρόσβαση είναι εύκολη, χωρίς σκαλιά, κάτι που μας έκανε την καθημερινότητα πιο άνετη. Ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν εξαιρετικός, πάντα διαθέσιμος να μας απαντήσει και να μας βοηθήσει στο λεπτό σε ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε – με ευγένεια και προθυμία. Αυτή η προσωπική φροντίδα έκανε τη διαμονή μας ακόμα πιο όμορφη και ευχάριστη. Σίγουρα θα επιλέξουμε ξανά το συγκεκριμένο κατάλυμα σε επόμενη επίσκεψή μας στη Σύρο και το προτείνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα σε όποιον αναζητά άνεση, φιλοξενία και άριστη εξυπηρέτηση στο κέντρο της Ερμούπολης.

Konstantinas got me a taxi when I thought I'd never find one, and it came in 2 minutes. I think he and his wife are magicians. I would stay there again in a heartbeat and recommend it highly to anyone considering a visit to Syros!!!

The host was very friendly and gave us all the insider tips about Syros that we needed. The suites are perfectly located in the city. Close to the boat terminal and the bustling street life of Ermoupolis. I am longing to come back here.

The room looked exactly like the photos on the website — clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Everything was spotless, which made us feel right at home from the start. The staff was very polite and friendly, always ready with a smile and willing to help with anything we needed. A special mention goes to the property owner, who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They were not only helpful but also proactive. Due to unexpected weather conditions, we were unable to leave the island as planned. During this stressful time, the property owner was extremely supportive, providing us with helpful information and guidance that made the situation much easier to handle. We will definitely be coming back!

• Gregory (10/5): Lovely comfortable room - We extended our stay on Syros an extra night; sadly someone had already booked the room we were in, but a junior suite was available. We left our packed bags in the first room and went off to explore the island; when we returned, Costas had moved our bags to the new room for us. The junior suite had TWO exposed stone walls (a definite architectural plus for us!) It is a smaller than the superior suite, but it still had an awesome shower! The sink and counter are beautiful grey marble. Also, The room has an inner courtyard view, so it was extra quiet. Lastly, the property is a super easy 5-minute walk to the ferry terminal. No complaints; it was lovely.
• Gregory (10/5): Perfection in the heart of Ermoupoli! - Upon our arrival Costas met us curbside and showed us all the features of the room. He also gave us a quick history lesson about the island of Syros and a wonderful list of sights to see and things to do. He also arranged a one-day car rental for us, when dealing directly the companies all had a two-day minimum. The pension has been renovated with every modern convenience yet with respect to the building’s neoclassical history. The large multi-jet shower is amazing!! (You just have to experience it!) At the same time the original stone wall is exposed and is a highlight of the room. The room was exactly like the photos, though even prettier in real life. The bed was made with 4 pillows: 2 firm, 2 soft which was fabulous. The room came with bottled water, Nespresso coffee maker and pods, plus cream and sugar, all restocked daily. We had the choice of open windows or a/c, as all the doors and windows had retractable screens. The windows are multi-paned and well insulated, and blocked nearly all the street noise. Every single thing was well thought through; even the drinking glasses were pretty! It was perfection!

Kostas was a mine of information about Syros history and super responsive to messages. The accommodation is exceptional. Set just one street back from the sea, it is a great location. The building is beautiful and so well kept, pristine! Our room was beautiful and so comfortable. Mosquito window netting meant we could leave the windows open and the rooms are completely mosquito free which made for a relaxing sleep. Every detail attended to including loads of water, coffee pods, tea and milk. It was quiet at night and we slept so well in an extremely comfortable bed with great pillows too. The shower is amazing!! We loved our stay here in this really high standard and beautiful place and will definitely be back next year for a longer time to really enjoy this accommodation.

Especially glad to have water, milks, and coffee pods replaced daily - unusual. Very central location for ferry port. Plenty to look at and walk to off the main roads which are noisy. The room is a haven, and it was tempting to stay all day, but glad we walked up to St George's Cathedral as the restaurant/cafe called Maison du Meze was superb! Great views as well. • Serena (10/5): - We loved our stay at 1844 Suites from the beginning where we got a great history lesson about Syros right to the end where we picked up our bags (but didn’t want to leave). Kostas was an amazing host and the woman who cleaned our room was the sweetest. The room was great and so comfortable. We really enjoyed the patio as well. If I could give this place an 11/10 I would! We would not hesitate to rebook in the future when we return.

The host welcomed us amazingly, offered us an early check in, explained some very interesting insights about the island and the building. Send us numerous recommendations to visit which were all spectacular! The cleaning was done on a daily basis and was absolutely fantastic, all the staff were tactful, positive, helpful and made the experience even better! The shower facilities were the best I have ever used and the bed was so comfortable we fell asleep if we laid down for more than 5 minutes. By far the most amazing place we have ever stayed. Because it was very central, when we had the windows open, it was slightly noisy but it was worth it because of the convenience of the location.

The furnishings are great, full supply of water daily and toiletries were lovely. Very clean and of a high standard. We had two rooms which were lovely the one at the front of the property was noisy at times due to the motorbikes at night, but this is unavoidable due to location. The host has tried to mitigate this by good insulation with the windows.

We enjoyed the amenities and having fresh water at our disposal in the fridge. Konstantinos offered us a warm welcome. He was helpful in organising our check-in and check-out and making it the most convenient for us. Thank you for everything and for your availability. We will definitely stay here again if we come back and recommend it to any friends visiting Ermoupoli. Everything was great.
