• Katrin (8/5): Nice time - The apartment is very close to the main bus station so it’s very conveniently located. The place was spacious and had everything needed. The hosts were very nice and responsive. There was a particular odor to the apartment but luckily not intense.

• Vera (8/5): Si mejoran el baño, el departamento es un 10. - Departamento superior: Muy lindo departamento con todo lo que uno necesita para alojarse. Limpio, cómodo y amplio. De fácil acceso. Esta ubicado a solo 200 metros de la zona céntrica de la ciudad. Los anfitriones muy amables y atentos. El baño parece de otro departamento, viejo. Al tirar la cadena del inodoro o usar la pileta de lava manos emana un olor un tanto nauseabundo. La limpieza del baño podría ser mejor. Creo que sería una muy buena inversión reciclarlo para que la experiencia de estadía sea 10 puntos.

• Claire (9/5): Wonderful time spent in Puerto Iguazu as our base to explore the fall and the charms of the city. - Really central to everything but still in a quiet area. Nicolas, our host, was very knowledgable.
• C Rotor (5/5): High rates considering worn furniture, outdated bathroom, limited amenities, uncomfortable bed, lack - Modern and easy-to-use system for entering the apartment. No elevator but Nicolas helped carry the bags . 2 to 3 blocks away from good restaurants and supermarkets, less convenient if you want things nearby. King bed in the solo room was lumpy and stiff, uncomfortable for sleeping. Bathroom Fixtures: Outdated yellow toilet and bidet; overall dated look despite the shower being functional. Flushing: Toilet flushing is slow; sometimes water rises alarmingly before draining. Kitchen Setup: No kettle — only a coffee machine or microwave to boil water Internet: Unstable during brownouts

Lo alquilamos pensando que nos moveríamos en colectivo, finalmente por el valor del trasporte público decidimos alquilar un vehículo (lo menciono para que otros viajeros lo tengan en cuenta). El alojamiento cómodo y espacioso. Debería tener algo más de vajilla para cocinar. Hay que subir por escalera.
• José Luis (5/5): Mis 2 dias en Puerto Iguazú - Zona tranquila, apartamento espacioso. Cerca de la zona de bares y retaurantes de la avenisda principal. El apartamento estaba en una tercera planta sin ascensor, y unas escaleras para subir el equipaje grande que llevabamos, muy incomodas. El apartamento tiene un WC francamante antiguo que deberian plantearse reformar. Los cierres de las ventanas y terrazas muy antiguos que no aislaban nada del ruido.

• Stephen (10/5): Great Stay for a Family - The property is conveniently located in Puerto Iguazu. It’s close to the bus station, restaurants, and sites. It’s easy to catch the bus to the falls and the airport from here. The accommodation was spacious for a family of four. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen facilities were sufficient for making dinner. Coordinating with Nicholas was easy - he also spoke great English. Nothing. It’d be nice to have something like paper towels to wipe up the tables.

• Beth (9/5): Marin Apartment was perfect for us! - Location was great…2 blocks from the restaurants and bars and about a 5 minute walk to the bus station. Easy walk to the Triple Frontier took about 30 minutes. We only stayed 2 nights so didn’t use the kitchen except the kettle to make coffee but looked to be well equipped. The host, Nicolas, was fantastic. He was there with the keys, gave us some tips about town and followed up the next day to be sure we didn’t need anything. He even provided a taxi contact, Diego, to take us across the border to our hotel in Foz do Iguaçu. We found Marin Apartment a very nice stay and a great value!

The location is great, there is a supermarket, bars, souvenirs and cafes within 150mt. The host’s were extremely easy to communicate with on WhatsApp and assisted me whenever required. Facilities were great. Some noise from internal stairs from other guests (didn’t trouble me)

• Joanne (10/5): Great Location, Great Value! - We had a great stay at Marin Apartments. We stayed 3 nights so that we could see Iguazu Falls from both sides. The apartment was in a great location with an easy walk to the bus station, restaurants and bars. The best part of this trip was Nicholas, the manager on call. He was very responsive and gave really good advice on how to get the Falls, restaurants to try, navigating the city... He let us get into the apartment a few hours early, saving us from walking around town with suitcases in very hot weather. There is no elevator and this apartment in on the 2nd floor, which is the third story, so it does require walking up 3 flights of stairs. The bedrooms and living area are a good size and the kitchen is huge and fairly well equipped. Since we were there in the heat of the summer (temps in the high 90's!) the kitchen door had to be kept close as the air conditioner couldn't keep up. One problem we had was that the living room furniture was very low to the ground and quite difficult for us 60+ year-olds to get off of. There was a dining room table in the living area that we used a lot, instead. The master bed was on the firm side so just be aware if you prefer a softer mattress. All in all, it was a great place and a great value for our stay to see Iguazu Falls and if we ever come back, this is where we will stay.

• Robert (9/5): Good stay in Steamy Iguazu - Large apartment, secure building, good a/c, good shower, good beds. Couple of blocks from restaurant row. The owner recommended a taxi diver to us, who turned out to be a great guy. There was a power outage; it only affected us for about 45 minutes; other parts of town were in the dark for much longer.

The property is a short 10 walk to restaurants, bars, shopping, and the bus station. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to Puerto iguazu. No Issues

• Alan (2/5): Very poor - The kitchen Shower soap dispenser was loose. Found roach on bathroom floor. Location in a very skeezy part of town. Walked by people lounging on the sidewalks. We only stayed one night. Ended up staying in a hotel a few miles away that was only a little more expensive. This place should have been half the price we paid

• Randall Chamberlain (10/5): Comfortable and convenient - This is an apartment, not a hotel. Location couldn’t be better, just off a Main Street, very walkable. Host met me to check in and was incredibly helpful. Apartment is a little run down but perfectly comfortable. I would stay here again.

• Vivi (9/5): Perfect location in Puerto Iguazu - A true king size bed and a king size bedroom. The location was great, between eateries and the bus station. The bathroom needs to be updated and cleaned better. Moldy grout in the shower felt uncomfortable. Also, there was old fruit in the refrigerator when we got there.
• Pearl (8/5): Large apartment friendly host - The host was friendly and gave us good info. The apartment was very spacious, clean, with smart tv in every room. The tv and Netflix impressed the teens. Good wifi connection. Walking distance to bus terminal and restaurants. Taxi costed $18 (US) from the airport in July 2024. There is no elevator. We were on the 3rd floor (what they call second level) which was a hassle. This made me housebound. There was no option for ground level. Other than that it was a nice stay. Since I can't use stairs, I got to watch Netflix.

And we had a very comfortable stay during our visit to Puerto Iguazú. The wifi works with no fault. So does the heating system. It's located in a very central and safe location.

(the street is quiet) The apartment was spacious, clean and well maintained. The kitchen as plenty of utensils with a full stove if you want to cook. Juan the host is really helpful and friendly and it wasn't difficult to get the keys. The bathroom is small.

Juan met us when we arrived and had lots of information about the town, where to eat, where to change money. He even recommended a place to go swimming. He was also really responsive via email before we arrived, and answered lots of questions that helped in planning our stay in Puerto Iguazu. Juan is a great host! The front of the apartment faces the street, and there was a lot of noise at all hours of the night. Even with windows and doors closed you could hear dogs barking quite clearly. Maybe upgrading to better windows would help.

We were late in arrival but he was there waiting and althoth it was past midnight he spent considerable time in helping us with an agenda of suggestions of what to do and see. • Barry (10/5): - This comfortable apartment is an excellent value. The bedroom appeared to have been recently renovated and had a very comfortable king bed. Air conditioning in the bedroom allowed for restful sleeps even with 37C days during our stay. We didn’t use the televisions but there were two, in the living room and bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped although our stay was too short to do our own cooking other than coffee in the morning. The bathroom was fine although is not up to the same standard as the rest of the apartment. Check-in and check-out were easy. We were met at arrival by Juan Pablo who was a wonderful host that took time to advise us about the apartment, town, attractions and transportation. He helped us with an itinerary and stored our bags on our departure day so we could explore.
