• Dixon (9/5): - Of course the location was the best part,on the lake is always the best. Host was great,and very accommodating Sulfur smell to the water,but there were filters on the tap and filtered pitchers in the refrigerator. Already looking to book again for a longer stay
• Marlene (9/5): Good place for a family! - What a well stocked comfy cottage! We were there in the winter months, but I can only imagine what fun it would be in the summer! The home has sports and fishing supplies as well as games and puzzles and books. There are two tables, one in the kitchen and one in the dining room. The showers could use updating. The dryer rumbles.

The area and surrounding houses are well kept and seem quite safe! Easy access and convenient parking. I regret forgetting to read the previous ones or leave a note with the others on the fridge!

• Dakota (10/5): - Aaron was a great host to work with. Very responsive to text messages, and messages on Booking.com. The house was clean and organized when we showed up. Everything is labeled for convenience. There is a cupboard to leave things behind for the next guest, love the idea! The back deck is pretty for morning coffee with a view of the deck, and a nice little spot for a nightly fire. We have a friend in a wheelchair that came along with us, the majority of the house is wheelchair accessible except for the 2 bedrooms in the house, there is the detached Casita with a bathroom and bed as well though that is all level. Parking is good, being right across the street from the house. Overall, very happy with the booking and the property. If we find ourselves in this area again, I'd love to stay.
• Sara (10/5): For our annual Girls Getaway, we chose Wellington Lake Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! - The location was excellent, right on the lake in a well-kept neighborhood. The neighbors were friendly and respectable. Aaron, our host was readily available to answer questions. The house was incredibly stocked with essentials and the notes throughout the house were very helpful. Parking was ample and convenient. It was a short ride to Shipshewana where we attended a concert at Blue Gate, following a little shopping and eating at the buffet. The beds were comfortable and having 3 bathrooms in the main house was a big plus. The house was cool and comfortable, despite the hot and humid weather. The deck was our favorite spot, listening to the birds and watching swans on the lake, and the water glistening, was so relaxing and good for the soul. Not to mention, the beautiful sunsets!
• Kyle (10/5): - Fantastic cottage on a beautiful lake, exceptionally well equipped. Literally came prepared, but if we didn't have it, it was guaranteed that Aaron had it here. The lake is one of the cleanest, clearest I have been to. Overall, 100% pleased with the stay we had here at The Wellington Lake Cottage. There is really not a single negative thing that I can think of about the experience.

• Christina (10/5): Beautiful and cozy lake house in Indiana where great lasting memories were made with family. - The house was beautiful and the lake view was amazing. The yard was well maintained. All of our bedrooms had their own bathrooms, many extras were supplied so we needed very little. And it had a large living room where we could all gather and visit each other. The area offered a lot of shopping and entertainment. There was also a paddle boat and kayaks available for use. The surrounding neighborhood was also well maintained and there was plenty of parking available. At the end of each day there was a beautiful sunset over the lake. Can’t say enough about our stay and would love to stay there again. Last the owner was very quick to respond and text me if I had questions or a need. Really appreciate his kindness. Can’t say that there was any thing I didn’t like.

• Vanessa (10/5): I would stay again ❤️ - It was cozy. And comfy. We came during winter and were not cold. I arrived super late and owners answered calls no problem. Very kind. Everything was labeled very well with a nice checkout list. And affordable I arrived very late so my family was too tired to wake up early. I was concerned about having to wash all the bedding before leaving by noon

The owner was a wonderful help with any questions we had. We had a wonderful family Christmas. The lake is just a wonderful background..

• Jill (9/5): Superb - The lake was beautiful. The cottage had lots of puzzles and games. The number of bathrooms was great. There were some issues with the cleaners. Although it was mostly clean, there were some areas that didn't look thoroughly cleaned. The owner mentioned he had used temporary cleaners. So, hopefully, that won't happen again.

We liked the lake and going on the paddleboat and kayaks, and we also liked sitting outside and looking at the water. We had a relaxing stay. The bed in the master bedroom seemed to sink to the middle but other than that it was good.
