Guest Reviews
- Jessica (3/5): - Was disgusted that the online price booking direct was $160 and charged $254 an extra $85 with booking.com.for a 2/ 5 hotel . Will never book with booking.com ever again. There were cigarettes in an ash tray outside when we arrived and a room smelt like cigarettes.
- Amanda (6/5): -
- Trent (7/5): Great value - Cost and cleanliness
- Dymond (3/5): Wouldn’t stay again - Location was great and close the the Showgrounds The stay was extremely disappointing.
The air conditioning was so loud it made it nearly impossible to sleep. We also had to deal with a large cockroach in the room. To make things worse, a group of people sat right outside our room at around 3am drinking and smoking, which felt unsafe and incredibly disruptive. The fact that smoking is allowed directly outside guest rooms only adds to the problem. Overall, a very unpleasant experience and not somewhere I would stay again.

- Kim (7/5): - It was central to shops Bed too soft had to put bathroom door back on rails power was on to fridge but someone turned temp to 0. Found out next day.for the price way down on the list not staying again.

- Dorinda (6/5): Very basic amenities but a convenient location - The location of Gatton Motel is very convenient, being in the town centre. We were able to take a short stroll to have dinner out. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. The room itself was cozy and the kids enjoyed the novelty of all being together. It was handy that a microwave and decent-sized bar fridge were provided. The motel is very old and our room had stained carpet and was generally shabbier than the photos implied. The old box air conditioner had no knobs, so the options were either arctic or off.
We had a family of 4 staying, but had to set up the trundle bed ourselves. We realised at night there were only 3 towels provided, so I honestly think they'd forgotten about our fourth person. There was also only two sets of cutlery, and no dishwashing liquid. I thought the crockery would be washed or replaced, but it wasn't so I had to wash it with shampoo in the bathroom sink as we were staying for two days.
This is probably beyond the control of the property owners to a certain extent, but be aware there is a very annoying dog in a neighbouring property. It barked late into the night both nights we stayed.
- Beverley (5/5): Good for central position and allowing a pet. No frills but clean - Costing for a fair motel was excessive. However thry allowed my sm pet dog and meant a lot. Basics were ok with good shower and kitchen facilities. Surroundings and old facilities. Cost fkr night charged by Booking.com
- Shelle (10/5): - Very quiet location even though on main road. Close to Coles and best Chinese takeaway anywhere. Easy checkin and out, nothing bad to say. For people wanting a cheaper alternative it was clean, quiet and comfortable

- Angie (3/5): With some improvements this could be a pleasant place to stay - Not a great deal. The air con blew out black stuff all over the room but had no choice but to use the ac as there were no windows or fans. Microwave didn’t work and the one in the outside area nearly electrocuted my fiancé.
- Gail (5/5): - Couldn’t get 7,9 10 Chanel’s on tv. Bed was too soft, boring decorating. Kettle didn’t work. Concrete outside the door needed sweeping leaves everywhere. Someone used the ashtrays on table outside never was emptied while I was staying there.

Quiet Wifi is sporadic.
- Donna (6/5): Pleasant - Room was very clean Advertised as double bed n 2 singles.. 2 singles ended up being a normal single bed n a trundle...
Not enough room in the room t place the trundle next t the single bed as it was in the way of the front door.. had t place trundle so it was out of the way underneath a bench that ran along the wall that microwave n jug was on... only 4 power points that had tv , bed lights n a hair dryer plugged into.. had to unplug these if u wanted t charge any devices ie phones etc

- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - Walking distance to all we needed, would stay again
- Amy (5/5): Passable - Smart TV and nice bathroom facilities. The air con is really old and noisy, for a light sleeper like myself I just couldn't have it on and it was a cold night. Was quite noisy overall, but I suppose that can't be helped being in the centre of Gatton.
