Would especially recommend a day trip to nearby Caversham Wildlife park where you can get up close to all manner of Australian animals. We also really liked time in the Subiaco suburb of little parks, lovely independent cafes, coffee places and shops. Very very noisy aircon in bedroom, sounds like a spin dryer working but not necessary overnight as room was cool enough

Nothing. It was perfect. (Parking bay is cozy. Recommend reversing in, and would be tough with a large vehicle)

- Michal (7/5): Met our expectation - Location, washing machine and dryer. We would definitely stay here again. The onsite restaurant was very good, secure parking was superb. The owner was fantastic and went out of her way to make our stay very enjoyable. It was too difficult to plug in the washer then plug in the dryer. Although tea was provided, we only drink coffee.

AC even though it works , it's noisy and quite old . I wasn't able to sleep while it was on , which is not ideal in Perth's Summer.

- Piyu (7/5): Perth City Retreat review - Location is very good. Apartment is cozy with full kitchen, laundry and other facilities. The owner had staffed the refrigerator with supplies the day we arrived, since most of the restaurants were closed by that time. Overall, good stay. The photos of the property are misleading. Apartment is not serviced so we have to take care of the daily cleanliness. Before check in, Apartment was not cleaned properly. There was heavy dust In the passage near the washroom, on the sink etc. The washroom water draining is also a problem due to which the washroom was always wet. The views from balcony are good but could not open the curtains as there is no privacy...other higher floor apartments get a direct view to the bedroom if we open up the balcony. Other photos of the property are from Kings Park area near by and do not belong to the property itself.

No microwave dishes and the coffee machine had no instructions nor capsules for use. No point having them within if they cannot be used for the purpose for which they have been supplied!

- Michelle (9/5): Ideal for anyone attending the Perth Convention Centre. - The property had everything I needed, and the hosts were exceptional. Constant communication, personal attention and they rang me when I was having a technical issue with WiFi access.
Really close to the Convention Centre. The apartment was awesome. The stairs up and down to the front entrance of the apartment block may be difficult for some - particularly for heavy suitcases. Not sure if there was some hidden wheelchair access. But once you got to the foyer, it was very easy.
