- Doreen (10/5): - Es war super ! Es war unser 4. Besuch in hoi an. Der Weg in die City war ca 2 km, aber mit dem Rad, welches man kostenfrei leihen kann, kein Problem . Wir hatten ein kleines Kind dabei , daher zu Fuß etwas zu weit bis old town . . Die Lage ist ansonsten super, das Frühstück ist lecker und die Vermieterin ist sehr lieb und kümmert sich um alles . Wir kommen wieder .

- Sergeieff (10/5): - Everyone here is so nice ! The hôtel is in a little street so very calm. It is also pretty, clean and the room was big and comfy. They propose breakfast but we didn't had the chance to try it. You can ask them to rent scooters or bikes if you need. It was nice meeting them and staying here. I recommend !
- Mark (10/5): The staff where just incredible - Everything was perfect about the stay it was soo cute, lovely swimming pool, the fig tree is so cute. An amazing breakfast every morning. The staff even put flowers in our room and they were so caring, could not ask for any better this has been our favourite stay in Vietnam. They ordered us a taxi to our next accommodation. The use of bicycles was excellent at no additional charge and they have lots off them. Location is great in a nice quiet area with the best cycling to vegetable fields and the beach. I would definitely stay again I loved everything

- Miyuki (10/5): Great quiet spacious stay, with wet market and paddy field cafes near by. - Room and bathroom were spacious, bed and bathtub were both very large. We enjoyed taking bath with beer and water. We had enough hot water to make bath most of time. I liked bath room and room floor was real stone(marble), furniture was solid wood, classical look. The hotel is set back from the road and is very quiet. Also a wet market near by, plenty option of street foods, cafe, massage near by well. The reception lady was very friendly and helpful, she helped us to book the sleeper bus (with working toilet from our request) to Da Lat with reasonable price. They pickup us from this hotel and after we arrived to Da lat, we changed to a mini van and took us to our hotel in Da lat. It is about 30mins from centre on foot, but we could rent bicycles free, we went through paddy field to centre instead of busy road by bike. It was a fun. Sometime we used grab or walking. Not much. Our key was hard to lock slightly, but it is very miner thing.

The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, offering a peaceful retreat from the crowds while still being easily accessible to the Old Town by taxi. Location is a little far from the old town but not marking it down as that can't be helped. Also the use of the bikes makes it manageable

Tucked away from the roads, it is peaceful and serene, rooms are spacious, comfortable beds, and a splendid little pool for an afternoon dip! - Erin (10/5): Would definitely stay here again. - This is my second stay at Fig Tree Boutique Villa. The staff are friendly and helpful, the location is perfect for its access to the beach, old town, many restaurants and other services. The free bicycles added a new level of experience to my stay this year; one day I rode to the beach and another day I adventured south of town across the river. In addition, the pool area is a great place to spend time, even if you aren’t swimming. The rooms and building are all well maintained; it is obvious they take pride in their service. I didn’t take the breakfast this year, but remember that it was very good two years ago.

- Grainne (10/5): Perfect! - Enjoyed our stay at the Fig tree boutique. We stayed in connecting room which has plenty of space for family of 4. Beds were comfortable and room was spotless. Breakfast was lovely and served each morning with platter of fresh fruit. Staff were great, very friendly and were able to help with any questions. The hotel is in good location and down an alley way. We enjoyed coming back to hotel to cool down in the afternoons

- Sandra (10/5): Really enjoyed my stay. - When I first arrived I really wasn’t sure, because I could hear music from a nearby location, however this was just an event and then silence and tranquility reigned. The room was huge and the bed even bigger. Great shower and bathroom with a good supply of toiletries. Very clean, could not fault it. Breakfast had a simple selection, but more than filling and adequate to start the day. Staff (Hien) were so helpful and accommodating, Hien really did make the experience extra special and her calm manner was so reassuring, especially for a solo traveler. The pool was lovely, especially to start or end your day. The free bikes are excellent for riding into town (about ten minutes). I really enjoyed my stay and have recommended it to friends. Thank you Hien. I think they just need to be mindful that towels don’t need to be changed everyday unless indicated, by leaving on the floor.

- Warren (10/5): - The Fig Tree is in the perfect location if you like a home away from home feel. Our room was large and the bed extremely comfortable. The family that run the Fig Tree are so friendly happy and so helpful. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful and all made on site to your preference. It is only a 30 minute walk to the old town markets you can also use the bikes available if you choose. This is our second stay at the Fig Tree and will returning again in May 2025.

- Darian (10/5): Wonderful, warm accommodation in Hoi An! - What a gem in Hoi An! The villa Is a beautiful space, with large and well furnished rooms, and a comfortable, clean bathroom. I slept incredibly well here each night after busy days of touring. What really stood out for me is the staff, who were beyond helpful. I had a late flight, and they helped to arrange transport, even though my arrival was delayed. Hein is so kind and speaks perfect English. She helped arrange some tours for me, which I appreciated very much. The free bicycles are really a must for getting around town, and I was happy they offered bike helmets! I will surely stay here again on my next trip to Hoi An! No negatives

They also offer airport pick up and can help arrange activities and taxi’s!! Had fresh towel very regularly, very friendly and welcoming hosts! If staying in Hoi An, stay here!! Nothing, book it
- Corcoran (8/5): Good value for money but not perfect. - The room was as advertised and looked great. They changed the towels etc every day and had bikes available to get into old town. There was a gap in the door and we had a cockroach in the room. They didn't have mosquito nets available. It was a bit far from old town and down a side street with rats (not really their issue just wanted to flag it).
- Marta (9/5): Lovely - It was very quiet and calm, which is what I needed. To go to the centre by feet is definitely too long but the host has free bike rentals, I commuted by motorbike.
- Kevin (9/5): Excellent boutique hotel to experience Hoi An - Excellent service from the staff. The hotel itself is very beautiful with the balconies overlooking the pool area. Enjoyed breakfast every morning down in the courtyard. We used the bicycles, motorbike rental, airport transfer, and a few excursions. Great value for cost vs. what you get. The hotel is a bit far from the Old Town (~20 minute walk). Not a problem to bike or catch a quick Grab.
- Gina (10/5): I found myself saying ‘next time we’re here’ which is always a great sign that we love it! - having a central pool for only 13 rooms is a luxury! We were usually the only ones there and it felt like paradise. Breakfast was excellent, our host was so kind and helpful, even messaging me on her day off to confirm our travel arrangements she had made on our behalf . Free bicycle use made exploring a pleasure.

- JandCConnell (10/5): Lovely guesthouse in the cam chai area of Hoi An - Tucked away at the end of a quiet alley this lovely guesthouse has very spacious, airy and well equipped rooms with balconies. A delicious breakfast is provided next to the swimming pool and the family who run the guesthouse are delightful. They offer a travel service for tours and onward travel plans. Bicycles are also available free of charge. We would definitely stay again.
- Jim (9/5): Superb - This is a super hotel. It’s a little bit outside of the old town, which is a bonus. The breakfast was lovely, the staff are really helpful and the hotel is beautiful. There are bikes for the guests, we really enjoyed biking through the rice fields. Nothing.

Location is a little over 1km away from the Old Town, not the best of you want to spend most of your time near and in that part of town.

Took à taxi to the nearby beach was beautiful. Was awaken by nearby rooster but didn’t matter, it was nice to hear. Staff is great and very helpful. I would definitely recommend. - scottybail (10/5): Great place. Highly relaxing. - The location of this place is just perfect. You don't want to be in the old town because its too crowded. This place is surrounded by great businesses. One of the best restaurants, called Red Dragon, and the Dingo Deli. The owners have created a really comfortable and modern hotel. I rather liked the buildings which are unfussy and modern. The pool is lined with marble and flanked with attractive landscaping. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is great. It's also very competitive priced. It's family run and therfore very quiet. There is no lift so you need to make sure you get a lower room if you can't carry bags up the stairs.

I would return to this beautiful place for its clean rooms, beautiful surroundings, great location and top service. A great find for accommodation in Hoi An.
- 700tlw (10/5): Thank you Moon! - A beautiful homestay/villa albeit a little bit noisy in the morning (rooster, nearby construction) and no black-out curtains however you can forget these small details when you’re in such beautiful surroundings and you’re being looked after by the wonderful Moon! Thank you Moon are your attentive service, beautiful breakfasts and for making our stay in Hoi An! You are a credit to The Fig Tree and our stay would have not been the same without you!
- Travelingfam2019 (10/5): Fantastic for this price range. - We stayed here for nearly two weeks. We also stayed in the centre of the Ancient town. This was a preferable location. Easy to bike to the centre, great cafes nearby, away from the ‘hard sell’ in the Ancient Town. This hotel pays attention to detail which really makes your stay enjoyable. They turn on lights for you when you return at night, accomodate the children by finding pool toys and switching on the pool lights at night, providing extra coffee, because they know you need it to survive a holiday with three children. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleane and well serviced everyday. Breakfast is simple but fresh and they will makes things on request. There is a rooster that crows at night. However, we have extensively explored this area and once you get out of the Ancient Town there are roosters everywhere. This hotel is down an alley which means you do not hear motorbikes all night. If you stay in the Ancient town you will be kept awake by bikes, people, night markets, dogs and roosters. Trust me one rooster at night is nothing compared to that. It really is a lovely little haven away from the hussle and bussle We had a connecting which was perfect for our family of five. I think you will be hard pushed to find anything else this fantastic in this price range.
- Epsomt (6/5): Hard to sleep - Not a bad place to stay! The problem is it is surrounded by small homes which have roosters crowing at 2.30am all morning, also a dog next door starts yapping at around 4.30 also. We had complained but the people who run it seem to think that’s ok. Rooms and pool are good, quite a walk from the old part of town where everything is. Would not stay here again although it is good value for money. On the web it looks great so very disappointed.
- TomStanway (10/5): Total relaxation - My wife, three teenage kids and I had three nights here and cannot day enough about how lovely it was. The staff were incredibly helpful, the villas surround a little pool which is very peaceful and clean and the free to use bikes gave a brilliant opportunity to quickly get your bearings.
- A4604JAhelenc (10/5): Little oasis - We stayed here for 4 nights with our 3 teenage kids and had 2 beautiful rooms opening up onto pool. Was perfect - lovely rooms - modern, and very tastefully done. This hotel is hidden away down a little alley way, and is just stunning - such a pretty place and staff are just lovely. They could not do enough to help us - lovely breakfasts - choice of things to order each morning and abundant fresh fruits and pastries to accompany. They even have us a lovely fresh fruit juice and freshly made sandwiches to take with us on our departure (as we were getting the sleeper train) - totally out of their goodwill! Would absolutely recommend this to everyone. About 5min taxi ride (v cheap) into stunning old town, but bikes also free to use any time, and easy to ride into town, or the other way, to the beach. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
- Pieter (10/5): Perfect hotel half way to the old town and beach - Perfect very new and nice hotel with limited number of rooms and therefore a true gem in Hoi An. Rooms are very neat and equipped with a fridge which was very convenient. There is a nice pool to cool off and free bikes are available (including children seats) to cycle to town (2kn) or the beach (2-3km) where you cross several rice paddies (brilliant!). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful in making reservations for all sorts of activities. There is an excellent deli around the corner (Dingo) with a play ground for the kids. All in all a perfect stay!
