• Anne (10/5): Wonderful stay in the Picos de Europa! - It was very comfortable and quiet, located just outside of the small town of Arenas. It was close (13 minutes) to Poncebos and the start of La Ruta del Cares. The town had good restaurants. The staff were welcoming and attentive. We paid for breakfast two mornings which was very good.

• Walter (9/5): Berglandschaft + kulinarischer Höhepunkte = eine Reise wert ! - Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber. Super freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Frühstück war hervorragend und das Hoteleigene Restaurant erreichte unserer Meinung nach "Sterneniveau". Es stellte sich nie die Frage, ob man wo anders essen möchte, da wir uns jeden Tag auf die raffinierten Menükreationen freuten.

Que desde la habitación se oye muchísimo cada vez que entran/salen los otros huéspedes de sus habitaciones. Aún así repetiría si vuelvo a la zona.

• Dorine Mignolet (10/5): Bedankt voor een super fijn verblijf! - Alles was perfect in orde! Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk welkom geheten door Marina, die ons later ook nog vaak bediende en echt een toffe dame is, waar je alles aan kan vragen met een knipoog en wat humor! De kamer en badkamer waren ontzettend ruim, heel proper en er was een fantastisch goed bed (wat zalig is na vele kilometers hiken overdag 😅). Alle personeelsleden zijn heel erg aardig, behulpzaam, gastvrij en correct. Als kers op de taart is er de bar/het restaurant waar het ontbijt en het diner geserveerd worden. De baas van het hotel is tevens de chefkok en hij fabriceert de lekkerste gerechten in zijn keuken en doet dit met een verfijning die zeldzaam is in de regio. Het is tevens een alleraardigst man die duidelijk geniet van kwaliteit leveren in zijn eigen zaak. Daar bovenop is de uitvalsbasis perfect om de mooiste wandelingen van de Picos te ondernemen. Kortom: Bedankt en heel graag tot ziens! /

• Tania (10/5): Un lugar tranquilo y con mucho encanto - Fue sin duda un lugar con encanto, el personal súper atento, las habitaciones amplias y cómodas. Cenamos allí un día y el menú fue una fantasía (la ensalada César ha sido la mejor que hemos probado hasta ahora). El desayuno un 10, variedad, productos frescos, el servicio impecable. Sin duda, si volvemos, nos alojaremos ahí!

It’s in a lovely location. Staff were really nice and helpful. Room was small but lovely and spotless. They have a lovely dining area and a spacious patio area with lots of seating. They serve a taster menu in the restaurant each night which changes daily. Half menu for 25 or full for 32€. The set menus are the only choice for dinner. We went for the full menu and the food was so well presented and delicious. Breakfast was also great. We thought the whole stay was great value. There was nothing to dislike.

Un poco lejos del pueblo para ir andando. No tiene camino para peatones, hasta el camping hay que caminar por la carretera lo que resulta sobre todo a la noche peligroso.

• Shazeen (10/5): The most pampered we’ve felt on our 18 day trip to Spain. Would be back in a heartbeat. The restaurant and the chef are - Every single detail at the property feels so thoughtfully planned and intentional. The bed was incredibly comfortable, there were thoughtful touches of quality products in the rooms, and the patio overlooking the rushing river was absolutely tranquil. The restaurant in the hotel isn’t just a standard restaurant that most hotels have for the convenience of their guests. This was an INCREDIBLE meal - easily the best of our entire trip. The chef’s creativity and execution of flavours is some of the best we’ve had even in major cities and absolutely deserving of a Michelin star at incredible value. The staff were so warm and welcoming and made us feel completely at home on our stay. We wish we could have stayed longer! Our stay was perfect - no flaws!

The bar is not expensive and has a large range of beers and wines. There's a fuel station right next door, also in the same family. Nothing really, the lift was playing up a bit, but it did have 2 chunky lads with bike gear in it.

• Paonia (10/5): - Ein Juwel von einem Hotel, unbedingt empfehlenswert. Es liegt etwas außerhalb von Las Arenas an der Hauptstraße, gut zu finden und trotzdem ruhig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht um die Gäste, der Empfang herzlich. Unser Zimmer (24) war geräumig und hell. Die größte Überraschung aber ist das Abendmenü, knapp unter Sterne Niveau. Unbedingt mitreservieren! Wir waren am 3 Abenden restlos begeistert vom 5 Gänge Menü für 30 Euro. Es tat uns nach 3 Nächten ein bisschen Leid abzureisen.
