• Johnny (9/5): Great stay (again). Loved the room, easy into town, very helpful staff - We had a family room - the size and beds were great. Everyone enjoyed the view (including of a visiting football team when they arrived). Breakfast got a thumbs up too - lots of choice, good standard. Rooms were quiet and the staff were very helpful. Nothing comes to mind. We really liked it. Maybe you could build a pool on the roof for our next visit?

Nice little room upgrade on arrival, lovely little 2nd Anniversary acknowledgement. Big rooms, super clean. Comfy beds and very quiet too. All amenities needed. The night we had cocktails in the bar the bar man even took time to ask ahout preferences which was a lovely personal touch. Lovely breakfast and good choice! All absolutely wonderful apart from one very rude member of staff at breakfast (which I have reported and since had acknowledgement which is very much appreciated)

• Nicola (9/5): Great place in a good spot - The room was clean and had good facilities in the room - small kitchen with coffee machine, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, iron, hairdyer. Very close to our venue. Beds were comfy Breakfast was a very good choice but the cooked food wasn't very hot. Also tv in room wouldn't stay on, maybe because it was late evening or the remote batteries were low

• Jane (10/5): - Fantastic room. Great breakfast. I was attending a conference in centre of town so not ideally situated for this - a 20 minute walk to centre of town or quick taxi ride. But hotel so nice worth the inconvenience! The taxi service the reception desk booked was hopeless - had to wait over 30 minutes one evening and the next day the estimate was 64 mins - so cancelled that booking. Was much quicker to walk to nearby main road and hail a taxi.

The breakfast was a cut above the normal buffet style breakfast with a wide range available and eggs cooked to order so they were fresh. Nothing!
