• Jessica Mae (9/5): Would stay again - Beautiful accommodation, easy to get to with a car. Was really nice to relax with a cup of tea by the fire place. Easy check in and out. We booked a time for the private onsen when we arrived, very relaxing. A little small for 2 people though. Breakfast was really tasty and fresh with plenty of food. Beds were comfortable with 2 pillows per bed. A few tasty restaurants for dinner a 10 minute drive away. Bath towels were a little small and thin.

• Renee (10/5): Relaxed luxury - The two owners are lovely people who both speak English.The house looks brand new and has a designerish feel to it. Still, the atmosphere is warm and relaxed. It’s full of understated luxury like the beautiful water boiler and rough wood underneath a glass sink, for instance. The beds are good, the airco works wonders, it’s quiet and spotless and the view unto the rice fields is soothing.. The lady recommended a restaurant that was exactly what we wanted. The city is a mere 10 minutes by car. And to top it off: the breakfast was the best we’ve had in a long time.
• Christina (10/5): Beautiful B&B in Furano countryside! - Element was one of our favorite stays of our whole trip in Hokkaido! Ken and Chie were so lovely, kind and helpful with everything we needed for the stay and they cooked a delicious breakfast. The scenery surround the B&B was gorgeous, and we fell asleep to the sound of frogs and summer bugs. It was a magical stay! Nothing, it was perfect!

• Callum (10/5): Perfect hosts, perfect property, and perfect location to experience the snowy Furano. - Element is an absolutely fantastic option for those visiting Furano - only 5 minutes drive, even in the deepest snow. The highlight was the warm reception and friendly service I experienced throughout my short stay. Highly recommend this to any travellers who have the chance to visit. The scenery and seclusion around the property is perfect, if you are looking to relax in Hokkaido - this is the spot! One of my favourite places in Hokkaido. Just to fellow travellers - if you are in one of the rooms on the top floor, the stairs are quite steep, so be aware for taking luggage up and down.

Such a privilege for us to enjoy their homecooked breakfast over 2 mornings, with fresh produce from their garden by the accommodation. Because there are only 4 rooms, it was very peaceful & quiet at night. We could even relax with a good book at the common living area... it felt like a 2nd home! One could sit outside, hear the crickets and gaze at the stars in the pitched-dark sky... sans light pollution :) Thank u for your kind hospitality, Ken & Chie! We wished we could have stayed longer! • Suk (10/5): Exceptional - Element is a very beautiful house. You can tell from the moment you enter the front door that it was meticulously designed. The view from the living room is so calming. We are Koreans who don't speak Japanese, but the couple who run Element were very kind and our lack of Japanese skills didn't bother us at all. My parents praised their kindness very much. I hope Element will stay in Furano for a long time. I will visit this place again next time I go to Furano!

• Harold (7/5): Element Conundrum -, Aesthetic vs Customer Requirements - Beautifully designed house with farm outdoor views. Ample parking. Living areas large and nice. Lively and friendly hosts. Bedroom too basic and needs shelving, especially for travellers staying 2-3 nights.😢 Location requires car for access. Owner has to decide between aesthetic vs functionality. Was asked to put slippers under luggage roller wheels so as to not scratch the cement floor.. Decided to carry luggage to the room 🤔 😢 Had almost the same "western" breakfast for 3 mornings. Would be nice to vary and/or include a Japanese breakfast. Everything was accounted for with no spares.... Understand the need to be not wasteful but would be helpful to ask if a second cup of juice or drink was needed.

• Rattana (9/5): Superb - New, Clean, Compact hotels with modern facilities. Helpful staff with home-made breakfast. There should be signpost and/or light from the road. It is very dark and not able to see this accommodation if you come to this place at night.
• Dinar (10/5): Cozy getaway, great location, friendly owners - I loved every bit of our short stay in Element, I wished we could extend. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The place is really close to the town centre. However, my husband and I did drive so getting there by car was a breeze. For travellers who are without a car, access can be a bit tricky though, but I think this is common for most properties outside of the vicinity of the town centre. The house was lovely. The interior, the rooms, and the oak tub that you need to reserve. The breakfast was homey and fresh. Every detail was well thought out and it made our stay memorable. Nothing, loved every bit about our trip!

• Lai (10/5): An excellent location for relaxation - The design was top-notch. The owners were extremely friendly and resourceful. Upon arrival, they told us about the Bellybutton Festival and taught me how to get there. We’re so grateful and it made the stay more memorable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a bit difficult to find the pension in the dark. The GPS of Toyota Rent A Car failed to take us to the pension. I used the google map instead. I’d advise visitors to study the map before the trip or the owner could consider putting a signpost near the main road as some visitors have previously suggested. When we returned from the festival, we found that the area was in complete darkness. As the pension is black in colour and there isn’t any outdoor light, it could not be seen. Luckily I read some messages left and knew I had to remember the location carefully before leaving for the festival.

• Mavis (10/5): - First enter the property, we love the interior design so much, it's a scandic design property. We stay there for 3 days 2 nights and we enjoy our stay there. Ken and Chi e are the owner of the place, they are helpful and friendly. We stay at upstair overlooking the view of paddy field, feel so good. Excellent breakfast served in the morning. We have a great time chit chating with Ken about his property design. We will definately come back for our next trip.
