- Lauren (9/5): A Hideaway Worth Travelling For - It was located really close to the main area, which had lots of shops, some great places to eat and explore. It had a pool, it had guest parking on the property, and the rooms were large and are great if you need accessibility, as the bathrooms were huge. The fridge wasn’t cleaned out when we arrived and had the previous guests leftovers

- Lauren (9/5): - Very spacious clean and easy to get to and had everything you need
- Desman (4/5): Our stay at Lakeview. - Location was great. Scenery and facilities were good. Staff was very helpful. Very kind. Sheets were stained, stains on pillows and blankets. Generally the linen and bedding were not up to scratch. Some thing that can be easily fixed.

- Maria (8/5): -
- Elouise (10/5): - We loved the location and how big the room was The bed. Also there were cob webs hanging from the walls, dish rack was very dirty. My tip just throw it out and leave a big tea towel so people can let the dishes dry on that
- Ann (10/5): Comfortable and close the train station for people going on the Qtrain - Comfortable and close the train station for people going on the Qtrain
- Jack (9/5): -
- Vanessa (7/5): Nice stay! - Amazing location and spacious unit Pool needs a clean
- Ella (7/5): Calm, peaceful - Super relaxing and quiet. Love the pool and layout of the property. Bed was super comfy and easy to find restaurant around the area to get dinner Everything was great! The only thing I found was that the room wasn’t that clean. I found some hairs in the bathroom and the shower curtain and pink algae. The bed also had some hairs on it and the decorative pillows didn’t smell clean, the towels also smelt a bit stale. Apart from this I had a lovely stay
- Don (9/5): excellent location. No view of lake though. - Bed very comfortable Couch at end of bed very old & uncomfortable. Loud hum outside room at night
- Donna (10/5): We stayed down there for wedding it was really close to everything . The pool was beautiful and clean - It was very close to everything as well as very clean quiet .
- Sharon (5/5): - It was a good priced hotel Could have been cleaner
- CRAIG (10/5): Excellent stay - Walking distance to Q Train
- Finola (10/5): Modern units incredibly located with peaceful surroundings - Incredible spot! The Lakeview Hideaway is perfectly positioned across from Lake Lorne Reserve, which is a beautiful and popular area for walking around the lake and bird watching. There are plenty of walking, running, and cycling tracks nearby, making it an ideal base for anyone who loves being outdoors.
The location is peaceful and quiet, yet still within driving distance of Lorne, Apollo Bay, and other tourist attractions, without the hustle and bustle of those overcrowded areas. It’s the best of both worlds.
The accommodation had everything we needed, a well‑equipped kitchenette, spacious layout, and a huge shower/bathroom area. Clean amenities, comfortable space, and on‑site parking made the stay even easier.
Highly recommend. We will definitely stay again.
- Robert (6/5): It was OK considering we only stayed 1 night because it was so expensive. K - The room was ok but the distance between where we had to park our vehicle and our room was to far. Parking and the fridge wasto low for my partner who cannot bend because of Spinal fusions.
- Felim (9/5): Quiet and comfortable - It was clean roomy and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay and the area was nice and quiet N/A
- Denise (7/5): Convenient location comfortable room - Convenient to visit my family not isolated. plenty of room thankful to find accommodation in January! Car parking close to unit The grill hadn’t been cleaned, had to move microwave to have kettle on bench in easy reach, unable to access secure wifi nowhere to hang towels to dry except the shutters between bathroom n bedroom ! Couch needs attention
large bathroom door heavy to move, the garbage bin outside was very difficult to hold lid open for a short person! to put rubbish in!! the pool was disappointing needed a good clean the one time I went in. I went to new outdoor Olympic pool close by after that
- sheila (3/5): Did the what we wanted for an overnight stay but not value for money. - The room was clean and comfortable. Extra facilities were poor. Lack of basics. No glasses, two tissues in a box - general lack of basic supplies. I would also like to point out that the room next door had the door opened with a chair propped up from stopping it to close. It would seem that room had been vacated and the door was left open all night - still open when we left. Anyone could have walked in and taken what they wanted.
- Alexander (8/5): -
- Max (10/5): -
- Vera (10/5): Great views and comfortable room - Great location Nothing
- Janelle (5/5): - It was quiet. The bedding...doona, pillows sheets etc were very tired. I doubt they have been replaced very often. I could smell someone's body odour in the bedding. It was very off-putting smelling that all night.
- Jennifer (8/5): - Very modern
- Gregory (10/5): Fantastic location, Stayed here as my Girlfriend and I did the Q-Train experience which is about 1KM away. The place was - - Good Location
- Quiet and peaceful
- Small Pool which was a nice touch
- Perfect location if you are planning to stay in the area for the Q-Train Experience Everything is perfect:)
- efstratios (10/5): Nice for a short stay or longer walking around the lake and old train station - Very nice layout all rooms looking at pool
- Rosalyn (7/5): - Lovely big room . Disability bathroom a plus. Great bed. The access to power points for kettle etc. My disability meant I couldn't lift a hot kettle off the microwave. No glasses for the Local wine I bought. No broom to sweep up any mess can't bend to use hand shovel and brush.
- Brian (9/5): - Perfect spot to access the rail trail.
- Andrew (9/5): -
- Jenny (10/5): Had a great time👍🙏 - That it was near horses.
I really liked the room and parking was great.
I loved this Hideaway👍🙏
- kim (8/5): -
- Maree (10/5): Comfortable, relaxing and affordable. - Room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Very quiet, close to local shops and beaches. Great pool.
- olivia (9/5): Great place to stay - Very clean, spacious and modern
- Rona (10/5): Great accomodation, very clean and tidy - Very close to everything, very neat and tidy. Provided water, coffee and etc. everything you need to have a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended There was nothing to not like
- Victoria (9/5): - We loved how it was close to everything and the pool and the spa We didn't like the fact that you couldn't look the door from the inside
- Jayson (7/5): -
- Anny (10/5): -
- Janene (10/5): Quiet little gem. - The room was very, very clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing and the pool and gardens were fantastic. Will definitely stay there again.
- Lynn (8/5): Excellent accommodation in an excellent location. - Very clean, spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. Excellent location for exploring the Bellarine Peninsula.
- SooHoo (7/5): Reasonable place that can improve further with maintanace - Size of the room and free car park Have insects and some of the sofa and table lamp were broken
- Emily (6/5): Not quite what we expected. - We liked the location and the kitchen. Would be perfect for a disability care holiday. While we enjoyed the location, we were disappointed by the bathroom. We understand the need for disability access but not advertising that all the bathrooms were like that put a damper on our New Years trip away. Purposefully not putting proper photos of the bathrooms seems shady and also on us for not noticing. The shower curtain needs replacing as there was very obvious pink soap scum mould.
The kitchen utensils need to be replaced, specifically the pan. We booked a suite to have a kitchen to cook in and were disappointed in the cleanliness of the kitchen, even down to providing a dirty/used sponge.
Also, the flooring of industrial carpet tiles were not secured properly and moved and lifted when walking on them.
- FADI (1/5): I don't recommend this place to anyone; booking it is extremely bad. - Nothing The place is extremely dirty and does not resemble the pictures.
- Damian (7/5): Very happy with the service and stay. - The buildings design Could improve the smell. Maybe the carpet had stains. But this just minor. Some of the carpet tiles is falling apart. But also this is minor problem. Bathroom door is starting to grind on the floor.
- Yvonne (5/5): Convenient and easy to access. - Comfortable bed. Cleanliness There are not enough towel rails or hooks in bathroom . Also no partition from showering as water everywhere. Even if a wheelchair is necessary this is not acceptable.
- Tania (9/5): - A very clean, comfortable and spacious room. The pool was a bonus and good quality toiletries were provided. The location was handy to various towns on the Bellarine peninsula.
- Martin (8/5): -
- jo (9/5): -
- Nicole (7/5): Great location clean and modern - The location to the train station was the reason we chose this place . It was clean and open and had all the things we needed for a night I believe the unit was set up for the disabled . I’m a nurse and the bathroom and shower set up was exactly like carving the hospitals I work at . To be honest it was very weird it was too clinical like
- Libby (8/5): -
- Janine (8/5): -
- Adrian (8/5): -
- Jane (7/5): - Keypad check in was easy thanks to clear instructions sent by email. A little bit too far to walk to the town centre.
- Jayde (8/5): -
- Wendy (9/5): - The disabilty facilities were great The bed too soft and not big enough due to husband disabilty
- John (8/5): Comfortable modern studio - comfortable and modern studio room
- Desma (8/5): Good but could be better - Great location for the QTrain, quiet and relaxing, unit was clean but a few adjustments would make it better Couch needs updating was not comfortable to sit on, bed linen very crumpled had not been ironed and pillows very flat. Towels also need updating. Kitchen crockery were not a matching set and some salt and pepper sachets would be good
- Lisa (8/5): -
- Helen (10/5): - Clean and comfortable. Bathroom could do with more towel hooks and shelf in shower.
- Peggy (7/5): -
- Liz (9/5): -
- Hannah (9/5): -
- fiona (10/5): Perfect 2 night stay, with modern bathroom and furniture, one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in - Very inviting and clean. Well furnished and self contained Nothing. I would recommend to anyone and I would stay again
- fiona (10/5): Family stayed in 2 rooms for a wedding. Fantastic Rooms and location - Clean, well furnished and the beds were so comfortable Nothing , I would stay again
- Joanne (10/5): Host was very helpful.we needed an early check in and he organised iffie us with no hassle -
- Jacinta (8/5): Comfortable and convenient for Jack Rabbit winery - The bed was comfortable, the shower had great pressure and the little kitchenette was very convenient. Great location for Jack Rabbit winery. The spare blankets were dirty and the lights in the room were very bright/harsh.
