- David (9/5): The property was excellent. The only issue was not with the property but with the booking process. - This is great location, the unit was clean and well provided. Generally everything was excellent, a minor point, the fry pans could be upgraded.

We also loved the layout of the apartment, with the two bedrooms (and ensuites) at different ends of the apartment providing privacy.

- Neil Andrew David (10/5): Very comfortable, would stay again (in fact this was our second time staying here 😊) - 4 of us travelling, apartment was very spacious, two bedrooms each with its own bathroom/shower - a place that was very easy to relax in. Also its proximity to Salamanca precinct, the market and the various cafes, pubs, eateries and shops etc is superb. The outside light to the front door could come on sooner/stay on longer as those lower steps are a killer in the dark!

All you could need Room for improvement are the pillows. Terrible hard foam pillows. Would be great to have the option of softer pillows. I had to sleep with two cushions or on my arms.
- Kylie (7/5): Great host, fantastic location, well stocked, good size and space, parking and clean spot - The location was fantastic. We were able to park our 2 cars. One in drive way and one on the street. It was clean and great for 2 couples or 2 singles as the bedrooms were at opposite ends with their own good sized bathroom. Lovely sized rooms. Particularly the master. Amply stocked with towels and complimentary toiletries. Electric blankets. The beds were hard. The pillows were too. Unfortunately my sleep was affected as a result. Some sort of extra mattress topper would help or different mattresses that aren’t firm.

- Liew (9/5): Most comfortable stay just like home. - The location is excellent, within 5 mins walk to Salamanca Market and 5 mins drive to the restaurants in Sandy Bay. Neighbourhood is quiet. The property is very clean. Great that the property has a car park lot and it is free too! The beds are a bit too soft for us. That's personal preference, can't really fault the property.

Excellent heating and comfortable beds with the living room separated into two discrete areas, which was great if we wanted quiet time. Only downside wss that the wifi wouldn't connect.

- Christine (10/5): Heathfield Apartments - We stayed in Apartment 1 on the ground floor. We found the apartment to be very spacious and well laid out. There were 2 bedrooms with full ensuits for both. The king bed was comfortable. Modern kitchen and washer dryer that was easy to use.
We found the apartment to be central to everything we wanted to do.
We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the apartment. We really couldn't fault the place.... except maybe look at replacing the memory form pillows as they are uncomfortable.

We had a very comfortable stay, the apartment was modern, clean and well appointed. We will definitely return to Heathfield when next in Hobart.

- Mary (10/5): Great Location, amazing apartment with lots of character and so much to offer, a real find! - It was amazing it was spotless, in the most convenient location, 5minute walk to downtown, or to the Salamanca markets and the port. There is everything in the apartment that you need washing machine, all the kitchen items you need. The beds were so comfortable and the place is so warm. It was a huge plus having access to a car space. The owner was easy to contact and very accomodating, and replied almost immediately with any queries. I will fully recommend this place as the ideal place to stay in Hobart.

Very grateful for the carton of milk provided plus the tea bags and coffee. The stairs were only challenging when you bring your bag in, otherwise they are fine.

- Brae (8/5): Would highly recommend. As long as you don’t like to sleep in. - The location is so perfect if you want to just walk to the marina for dinner. Also not far to main shopping mall. Ideal for getting to tourist attractions etc. Beds super comfy. Saw all the negative reviews about pillows but we thought they were fine. Bathrooms fantastic with the best shower. Kitchen was well stocked with basic supplies which is a bonus. Have to mention the noise in the morning. Ok if you are an early riser as traffic will wake you up at 6 even on the weekend. No way to avoid though as the location is right near Davey Street which is a very busy road. Also have to mention the parking situation. We were lucky we didn’t have to share the driveway with the other apartment but if you did it could be an issue. Parking on the street is minimal. All in all though I think the good outweighs the bad as you are close to everything.

A couple of suggestions/improvements would be a door on the bathroom/toilet for privacy and changing the taps in the bathrooms and kitchen as they are not easy to use as they too close and don’t turn in the right direction. FYI the baking paper and tin foil were both empty but otherwise it was really well appointed 😊 thank you.

- Kira (8/5): Perfect location, great host and lovely apartment. - Instructions were excellent. Location was perfect. The apartment was well equipped. We did hear quite a bit of traffic noise but once we purchased some earplugs it was as noticeable during the night.
As we had beautiful warm weather during our stay, it was quite warm and there were no air con vents in the bedroom off the lounge which made it quite warm during the evening.

- Warren (8/5): Very good - We stayed in the lower unit Heathfield 3 and with the exception of the oven, the place was provided to us very clean, but we appreciated the quick response to clean the oven for our Christmas dinner. The kitchen lacked measuring cups and spoons, oven mitts and trivets, and tall glasses. It was a bit inconvenient to haul our recyclables into the city but an email to Hobart City Council confirmed a bin could be delivered within 10 business days and their website has good information on what goes in the bins. There was a lot of traffic noise but wearing earplugs helped. The king bed bedroom did not have shelves or dresser drawers so we had to live out of our suitcases for a week. The bedroom sliding bathroom door would come off its tracks, often resulting in it banging against the wall or leaving a gap, and we found the pillows hard but the mattress was comfortable and the bedroom had a wall mounted heating/cooling unit. Having a washing machine/dryer with detergent, and an ironing board was very helpful. All of the appliances worked great, the TV was excellent and we found the furniture and lap blanket very comfortable. We did provide Peter the feedback above (first week in January) so maybe there are now dresser drawers or shelves in the bedroom and the door fixed, a recycle bin, and some measuring cups and spoons, oven mitts and trivets, and tall glasses in the kitchen.

The location next to a main road makes it difficult to escape road noise. The older windows rattle a little in the wind making the front bedroom noisy.

Wouldnt affect us rebooking this again though as everything else easily trumps that minor issue.

I can’t think of anything that we didn’t like about the accommodation
