• Gregory (10/5): - I stayed here twice in April and found it excellent. The room was comfortable, the staff were pleasant and the location was perfect. It's a few minutes' walk from the inter-city bus station, the municipal bus station and the airport bus. Almost across the street from the hotel is a large supermarket in a mall with other shops. A few minutes' walk past there takes you to the Vardar River. Turn left (northwest) and Skopje's main sites are within easy walking distance. This was a very good place to stay.

• Verified traveler (2/5): No AC. Uncomfortable - The hotel is advertising that it has AC. When I arrived, the AC was not available. I called the receptionist and was told that the air conditioning is ONLY available during certain months. My stay was during the month of April. It was humid and the room was hot and stuffy. I was not able to sleep at all during the night because it was so uncomfortable.

• Carl (10/5): - Area around hotel wasn’t the most welcoming but never felt unsafe. The room was perfect, very clean and modern. Only a few minute walk to central square and old bazaar. I would come back.

• Daniel (8/5): Bra hotell - Bra hotell 10 minuters promenad från centrum och ett par minuters promenad från busstationen där flygbussen stannade! Bredvid ett stort shoppingcenter. Tjejen i receptionen va välkomnande och vänlig och kom med rekommendationer på saker att göra i Skopje och va bra på engelska :) Rumet va bra, rent och AC fungerade. Jag hittade ingen information i rummet om hotellet, så som när frukosten börjar och slutar och lösenordet till Wi-Fi, men det löste sig. Tyst och lugnt är det utifrån. Blev lite besviken på frukosten, hade förväntat mig varm äggröra, varm korv och framförallt varmt kaffe. Tyvärr hittade jag ingen att be om nytt kaffe. Annars nöjd med min vistelse!

• William (4/5): Asteria check in - The check-in was terrible. Even after notifying them as requested for our check in time no one was there to check us in They had a buzzer on the outside of the door that did not work. I had to activate my EU Sim card in order to call the number that was listed outside of reception. After calling 7 times someone finally came down and checked us in. It cost us over €40 in roaming charges because of this.

• Susan (10/5): - The room really looks like the nice, professional photos. Very nice room, with a little balcony (with a screen door and a glass door). Nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Key card to get in and out of the building. Very close to the train and bus terminal and a mall that includes a grocery store. Easy walk to the center of town and the old town.

• Mikail (4/5): - Aircon was set at a temperature of 25 degrees and the room was too stuffy, towels had hair on them, will not book again, the hotel is close to everything such as east gate mall and vero centre and train station but will not be booking there again. When we asked for a change in the temperature the manager told us that 25 degrees was good for our room, so we couldnt conteol the temperature from our room, when you open the window the aircon automatically turns off, not good when staying in the middle of summer and trying to stay cool

Difetto: arrivando a piedi dal vilae principale bisogna percorrere un tratto sterrato, perchè il vialetto di collegamento, che forse è di competenza comunal, chissà, non è mai stato completato. e lo devi fare a piedi, perchè, data la piccola ditanza, dalla stazione i tassì non ti ci portano

• Petter de Presno (10/5): Anbefales i Skopje - Supert lite hotell bare 5 minutter å gå fra busstasjonen og togstasjonen i Skopje. Veldig hyggelig betjening som snakket strøken engelsk. 5 minutter andre veien lå et stort kjøpesenter med utrolig billige varer. Frokosten kunne vi bestille etter smak og behag. Etter noen dager ved Ohridsjøen bestilte vi samme hotell igjen på tilbaketuren.
• Diana Jessica (10/5): Riktigt bra hotell och nära till sevärdheter! - Riktigt nöjda med vår vistelse! Personalen var mycket hjälpsam, vi bokade taxi till och från flygplatsen via dem. Frukosten toppen, du får beställa det du önskar och fanns en del att välja bland. Det var lätt att ta sig runt till fots men finns även buss precis utanför med flera linjer. Vi gick dock hela resan! :) Bekväma sängar och AC på rummet. Kommer absolut överväga detta hotell igen om vi åker tillbaka!

• I4702JNhannahs (6/5): Small, smelled like smoke - The hotel calls this an apartment which is a very generous description — it was more of a hotel room with a kitchenette in it. The air conditioner worked fine, and the fridge was nice to have. Or major issue was that the room stank of smoke, despite there being a no smoking sign. The sheets were not very comfortable, either. The staff were very friendly and helpful, however.

• Kamil Yusuf (8/5): Nice place - I am an business traveller and my needs are a centralized location and a decent room. Though not in the city center but approx. 20 minutes distance by foot to reach there My room was OK. with an little kitchenette, wi-fi was OK. The guy at the front desk who is Mr Alexandar firstly was seeing kind a rude but after a while you will see he is a good host. I am recommending this place.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Presumably, the best option in Skopje - Great place to stay. 2 min walk to the station & bus terminal, 3 min walk to the shopping mall, 10 min walk to the center(fortress/old bazaar area). Room is perfectly clean with small kitchenette. Staff is very attentive and helpful. When we requested to use wine glasses, they prepared one for white and another for red. We traveled from Skopje to Thessaloniki but there was no bus service on the day we wanted to travel due to holiday. When we asked to the hotel, she called her friend and arranged a taxi with 100 Euro. Presumably the best option in Skopje, or at least the best value for money.

• Kiair (10/5): Don't let the neighborhood scare you... It's safe. - The room looked just like the picture. It was very clean and the receptionist were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a typical contenintal style, but you can ask for prepared eggs. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel and the bus station is caddy cornered. The main square is about a 10 minute walk straight down the street from the hotel.

• DigDougLA (8/5): Nice Hotel- Good Value For Your Money - We booked a room there for 1 night. It was a nice room with comfortable beds. The room had everything we needed except an iron. I suppose we could have asked the front desk for an iron but it was late and we were too tired to bother. The desk clerk who checked us in was nice and very helpful. They have free parking outside the hotel. The Wi-Fi worked well. Overall, we felt that we got good value for our money.

Location of apartmant is great, just couple of minutes from main square, acroos the aparment there is the main station and huge supermarket. People working in apartmans were so great, very heplfull and friendly. Room was huge, clean and fully equiped. Next time we visit Skopje we will for sure stay in this apartments.
• AmandaNilssonDK (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Skopje! - If you are looking for a nice, clean and new room, with a perfect location and very friendly staff, seek no further. I stayed 3 days in Astera Apartments in Skopje, and it was perfect for me. The place is 2 minutes walk from the International Busstation, where you can get on and off the airportbus or take a regional bus to other parts of the country (I recommend Ohrid) or outside. The staff is very efficient and helpful, easily answering all questions you might have about your stay and sightseeing in Skopje and Macedonia. The room was spacious enough for me, the bed good, and everything was very nice and new. I slept well, and enjoyed the many tv channels after a long day of walking through the streets of Skopje. The bathroom is good as well, and please note that thay the hot and cold water in the shower are opposite of what the labels state =) Also, the city centre is only 10 minutes walk away and there's a big shopping centre situated on the other side of the road from Astera Apartments.
