• Renata (7/5): It was ok - Location close to the station. Large common area with books. Moving between floors from bedroom,to another floor with showers and then another for kitchen. No complimentary tea or coffee,basics for cooking like oil,salt,not available paper towels. Busy street so noisy at night time,had to keep windows shut and using earplugs. Bedding didn’t seem to be clean and fresh,not sure what was washed after individual guests…
• René (10/5): - the owner was so nice and really did his thing with passion and was very kind to all guests :) i also loved the playstation room and the location next to the train station and harbour. kitchen also had everything i guess. no shoes policy so all the rooms smelled very good! the toilets are located in the staircase on each floor, so you have to bring your key to get back into your room. lamps on the bed would make a great addition

• Lara (1/5): TERRIBLE DIRTY - Nothing to like about it. There are plenty of better hostels in the area in the same price range DIRTYYY STINKS NO AIRCONDITIONING WORKING. And very rude staff. There was piss on the floor in the toilets and nobody cleaned it. it is not like a hostel vibe. Staff is extremely rude and dont even let your phone charge. They are done with backpackers and get fed up when they see a backpacker. Early check in is not possible even if you arrive at 6am, you need to wait until 4pm. No area where you can chill and wait until check in. They literally kick you out. Dont be a hostel if you dont want to do a hostel job! She even told me what are you doing in korea, your people always complain about my place. Dont come to korea! How rude is this?? If everybody complains about your place, maybe something is really wrong with the place? She didnt check me in earlier and ueven joked about just go sleep on the street it is normal for your people…
• Heejin (8/5): - 방이 굉장히 깔끔하고 개인 사물함을 잠글 수 있는 구조가 좋았습니다! 그리고 사물함도 생각보다 커서 좋았어요! 역 바로 근처라 그런지 빛과 소음이 좀 있었던 것 같습니다. 그리고 샤워시설이 같은 층이 아닌 점은 조금 불편했습니다.

• Eunyoung (1/5): 대박 추웠고, 히터 안나왔고, 관리자때문에 황당했음 - 나빴던 것 빼고는 좋았음 대박 추웠음. 한 겨울에 히터는 왜 안틀어주는 거임? 싼 숙소라고, 난방비 아끼는 건가? 더 황당했던 건, 관리자의 대응.... 진짜 너무 개념 없어서 설명하기도 싫음.
• HSIAO HAN (10/5): 這次是因為追星而去釜山，因為獨旅所以選擇青旅。推推！姨母和老闆都很親切英文非常好～沒有溝通問題！上下舖比較沒有隱私空間～睡上鋪沒有遮蔽，下舖有簡單的蕾絲可以拉起來。房間內只有共用的電燈，床邊沒有小燈 - 位置離釜山站很近！青旅有電梯！不用怕扛行李！環境非常乾淨～老闆英文非常好很親切！！！女生淋浴間廁所也都很乾淨，謝謝～～～

Some maintenances are probably needed - Toilet outside the room was uncomfortable (in the stair path and was also cold. No hand wash soap provided) and in very poor conditions (an update is needed) - showers in different floor of the room were uncomfortable. Very basic conditions, not even a place/chair where you can put your stuff. No Towels or napkins/tissue available - check in till 11pm with no chance to have the door open after. I had to run from the airport to arrive on time - walls of my room were full water (probably coming from the upstairs showers) and mould. Not so healthy spending nights there

• Laurine (9/5): Meilleur rapport qualité prix sur Busan - J’ai tout aimé de cet endroit, j’y suis restée 2 nuits une première fois et je suis revenue pour 2 autres nuits quelques mois plus tard. C’est propre, c’est grand, le personnel est adorable. Il y a des petits casiers pour les affaires de valeurs et c’est une bonne localisation à 3 minutes de la gare et des bus/métro, tout est très bien ! Il manque des rideaux aux lits du haut et d’autres qui seraient plus opaques en bas

• Corey (10/5): Best hostel in Korea!!! - Sohostel is one of the best hostels I've stayed in throughout my year of travels. The staff felt like family, they went above and beyond to help me on all occasions. The facilities are some of the best I've experienced. The kitchen felt like a profession Gordon Ramsey set up. The beds were soft and comfortable and the common room had a Nintendo Switch and PS4, you couldnt ask for more. If you're staying in Busan this is the place to stay, highly highly recommended!!! -

• Nahida (9/5): Cosy, quiet and convenient - Great location next to Busan station, and it’s a family run business with friendly staff. The hostel was nice and quiet. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes along the road which I enjoyed.
• Mokopanele (10/5): Amazing, must stay! - Clean, great location, friendly stuff and made a new friend. The see through curtains around the beds make it difficult to change in bed 🙈.
• Anaïd (8/5): Je suis resté une nuit et je suis dans l’ensemble très satisfaite, tout est plutôt bien organisé, propre et les personne - Très bon emplacement proche de la gare, l’accueil chaleureux, la propreté, et le matériel à disposition est très appréciable (casier , serviettes, sèche cheveux, gel douche… etc). Je n’ai pas trop aimé les douches qui sont séparées par des panneaux floues (et non opaques) ce qui permet d’entrevoir la silhouette nue des personnes se douchant à côté de vous , c’est donc un peu gênant et pas très correct pour l’intimité…. Il y’a également une sorte d’élément effet miroir le long à l’intérieur des douches (pour cacher le système d’arrivée d’eau j’imagine), et enfaite cela reflète les personnes de trouvant dans la douche aussi. Je ne trouvais aussi pas très pratique de pouvoir poser ses affaires seulement à l’extérieur de la douche. Je pense que tout ça est surtout une erreur de conception et de choix des matériaux.

• Hannah (7/5): Gute Lage aber absolutes Wäschewaschverbot - Sehr praktische Lage in der Nähe vom Bahnhof (ohne dass man davon etwas hört), von wo aus man schnell überall hinkommt Leider darf man in diesem Hostel partout keine Wäsche waschen, worauf ein Aushang neben jedem Waschbecken hinweist. Das macht es für Backpacker nicht einfach.

• Oprea (10/5): Great stay, felt like home! - The staff is amazing & super welcoming. I’ve stayed here for a little over 2 weeks & would stay again when in Busan. The location is very convenient, close to Busan station & with a lot of options for buses towards other areas in the city. There are also a lot of places to eat & have coffee around. The hostel is super clean, the rooms are extra spacious which is not often that happens in a hostel. The kitchen upstairs is very well equipped, big and with a lot of natural light. There is also a smaller lounge of the 6th floor. I felt really comfortable here. At first I was a bit nervous because I’ve read some reviews about the lack of curtains at the beds or the showers being common, but honestly I worried for nothing. You have a lot of privacy in the showers, there’s also a big sink with a mirror when you can do your routine and everything. Everyone speaks good English & Veronica, the owner is passionate & knowledgeable about a lot of subjects. Really recommend staying here! -

• Vale PP (9/5): Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo - La posizione é molto comoda per spostarsi verso le spiagge o con i treni. Lo staff é accogliente e parla inglese, mi é capitato che mi offrissero cibo/bevande e ho passato dei bei momenti sentendomi a casa. La stanza é ampia e con una temperatura adeguata. C'è acqua filtrata gratuita nel piano della cucina e c'è una piccola sala vicina alle docce nella quale si può giocare con la Nintendo switch. Non ci sono tende nei letti che coprano davvero, questo rende assente la privacy e in base al letto che ti capita può arrivare molta luce. Le docce sono ad un piano superiore e anche queste non garantiscono molta privacy. Manca il servizio lavanderia.

• Paavan (10/5): Weekend Stay at Busan Sohostel - The hostel staff were very friendly and always ready to help. Doggu was a great afternoon companion! Showers were clean and well maintained, every amenity was provided. Ikea bunk beds were very comfortable. Recreational room and TV were fully equipped with latest games! Location was perfect for travel around the city and proximity to the station for our train home. Drinking water could be made available on every floor.

Everywhere is clean, including the room, toilets, shower room, kitchen, and the living room. The style is simple and relaxing. You may find many board games and video games from living room, so you will never feel bored here. The people loving cooking can find most tools they need from the kitchen, just feel free to make dishes! As for the room, I stayed female room for 8 persons. It’s wide enough for my roommates and me to open up and manage our big luggages, which isn’t common for most hostels. Shower rooms are good as well. The temperature of the water is stable, and the hair dryer is super helpful for girls with long hair! Its location is really good. • Sonja (9/5): Superb - Great location, staff is super friendly. Female floor is great. The bathroom and shower situation is a little bit unique, but I got used to ist very quickly. Rooms are big, enough space for luggage in the dorms. They have hostel rules (I wish more hostels would have these). The curtains could be upgraded as you can see through them. It didn’t bother me too much, but I had someone using their phone as a flash light and straightly pointing into the other people‘s bed to see if people were sleeping. But usually people don’t do this.

• Adam (7/5): Near Terminal, Nice Kitchen, Ok rooms, Inconveniences - Short walk from the main terminal (but 30-90 minute metro/train ride to main destinations). Owner is very kind and helpful. Large equipped kitchen, hot pressured showers, video games. The owner is awesome and I’d like to give a better review but there are many small gripes that add up. *) Close walk to terminal but very far even by metro and bus from the most interesting neighborhoods. 1) No Korean laundry machine/service and slippers like other hostels. You must buy your own slippers and maybe detergent as well as spend 1.5 hours at the laundromat—major inconvenience. 2) Most of the time people don’t pull hard to close/lock the dorm door nor do they lock the room in an otherwise public building. Lockers are also too small for cabin luggage. 3) Little privacy as there is only a lace sheet that surrounds half the bed. 4) No bathrooms connected to room or even dorm hall and there are only a couple toilets for the whole hall—fortunately this wasn’t a problem. 5) Not welcome to stay in communal space after checkout.

• Mery (10/5): Exceptional - The location is very close to the train station. The receptionists/owners are very helpful. I was able to check earlier and they helped me how to go around Busan. They also suggested places and helped me where to catch a bus. The place is pretty clean. The bathrooms are all equipped with body soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer. Everything is above my expectations. Nothing at all

• Marianne (10/5): Excellent place to stay - This hostel couldn't have been better. It was ideally located: a few minutes away from the main station, metro and buses, but on a quiet streets, so no traffic noises. It was a walk away from the main sights and surrounded by lovely little restaurants and cafés. The dorm was spacious, the dining/kitchen area magnificent and was even a nice lounge by the reception to relax in.
