Guest Reviews
- Gabriellle (5/5): -
- Charlotte (4/5): - With a 7.5 star I expected more. Run down motel. It was mostly clean. Just very broken and run down. The shower curtain had clearly been broken and repaired many times.TV remote didn’t work and the tv sits inside a stand with doors so you cannot see it from most spots in room.
- Evan (2/5): - Made me pay twice
- Kristina (8/5): - Nice little place to stay. Older conditions but extremely clean and very friendly staff.
- Hugues (10/5): - Room very clean
- David (8/5): - Everything was fine.
- robert (4/5): Very pour and polluted - We were traveling and vame across this o e with a jet tub. We booked 2 nights and that was a mistake!! Jet tub water had to be ran for 15 min b4 the water would clear up. Dirty brown water!!! Bathroom had 2 nasty dirty hand prints on the wall behind the door when u close it. The bed was not a queen size luke it stated. It was a full size and felt like u were sleeping on the floor. Not to mention it surrounded by big factories thag smell very bad!!!! Dont go to the taco bell as well. Guy was nice inside. I asked for extra towels and he said well there is 4 in there already so we went and bought our own towels. Plus you can hear everyone that get there at night. We most likely will not be back here.
- Beverly (6/5): - This is an older motel that is being updated, but they have a little ways to go. The fan didn't work in our bathroom and the deadbolt lock on exterior door needs tweaking. The staff/owners seem to be very nice people and are working on these issues.
- Carrie (8/5): - Very quiet & clean & several restaurants nearby
- Michelle (6/5): - This lil place is nothing fancy. It’s not a bad place. Perfectly located. There are NO extras like fresh towels, coffee, room cleaning or such. The price is a little high for all that they don’t offer. Nonetheless it is still not a bad place to stay.
- Terrence (7/5): Good -
- Bokree (6/5): wasn’t terrible but wasn’t the best either - the location was great. restaurants, bowling, and gas stations within walking distance. the bed was super comfortable. staff was helpful when needed wi-fi was very in and out. the carpet could’ve been vacuumed better. the room had a jacuzzi tub and I only used it once because while I was in the tub with the jets on I saw brown stuff floating and got out and drained the water. I had to clean the tub after using it. someone turned the mini fridge to a not so cold setting so when I opened it water got everywhere from melting. small tv
- Deborah (1/5): Bad -
- Sandy (6/5): - hair dryer did not work, clock and microwave were not plugged in. got the clock to work but not the microwave.
there was not a property manager on site 24/7. if we needed something had a phone number to call. they charged more than the quoted amount when I booked the room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - No sign for motel of main street
- Verified traveler (8/5): acceptable and cleanest bathroom - The bathroom was really clean as it seems to be recently renovated. The carpets not so much.
The front desk staff was hard to get ahold of and was often not in the office or didnt respond to the doorbell until called on the phone
- Lawrence (8/5): - Only problem I had was trying to get to sleep because of the fair going on, but that is not the hotel's fault. Oh and a guide for the tv
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice and clean room super quiet also. It was also very close to some good restaurants.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Wasnt able to go was told i would be refunded for one night instead of the 2 nights i had booked. Was never refunded any of it
- Verified traveler (6/5): Park Drive Inn - The "cheap" room was one that hadn't been renovated yet and on the second floor. Not a big deal, but I'm 6'1" and the top of the shower was maybe 4'8". Bed was comfortable enough, but hopefully, the renovated rooms are better. An adequate overnight.
- Ronald (4/5): - Room/ dingy. Shower/ water came out from both tub faucet and very low ( shoulder high) shower head, as well not consistent in temperature. Bed/ semi comfortable. Also, when making reservation i used the "use my rewards" button but was charged full $.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very clean only thing was the heater in room was a little loud at times.
- Leo (6/5): ok - The shower in my room did not work and the Internet connection did not allow me to use VPN on my PC. Otherwise ok.
- Barbara (10/5): - Very clean and close to restaurants. Very satisfied and will probably stay again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Its very close to local restaurants. The room was very clean, and the showers were excellent! The staff was very warm and welcoming. I would most definitely stay here again and highly reccomend it to anyone looking to stay in a hotel in Caro Michigan.
- Brice (8/5): - It's a small town, not alot of amenities. It meets all a persns needs to sleep, plus numerous fast food and sit-down restaurants within walking distance.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was explained to me that I was unfortunate to have booked a room that had not been renovated yet. $90. A night for a $40 room.. expected more from a nice town like Caro!
- Verified traveler (6/5): You Get What you pay for (almost) - You get whzt you pay for, o more. Our room wasn't cleaned. I was j formed Ineeded to let cleani g know I had taken a shower / created waste & slept in the bed. Forget bkft.no coffee, one small container, first person up gets it.No one did a refill or brought pastries. Rooms were clean
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very clean. I will stay again. Owners are very nice.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Never have stayed there. Please stop asking me.50 characters minimum?
- Teresa (10/5): Great little place! - Was visiting family in the “Thumb “, so there were not many choices for hotels. I settled on Park Drive Inn because it was closest to my route. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was and how friendly the manager was. She told me about the local area and was very helpful with directions. The room was very clean and nice - not a lot of frills, but was perfectly lovely and felt very safe. I would definitely stay here again and recommend for families or solo travelers
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Rooms are clean well kept and roomy. The staff and owners are friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - No frills whistling clean and friendly staff. Recommend. We needed a one night stop on our trip to Upper MI. This fit the bill perfectly.
- Alan (10/5): - This is a very clean and quiet place. We were greeted with a smile by the manager. There are all kinds of eateries from fast food to dine in within walking distance. At checkout we were sent on our way with the same smiling manager.
I will definitely recommend and return to this motel.
- Jeffery (10/5): - Really enjoyed our stay! We were offered to upgrade to a remodeled room and they've done a great job! We will certainly stay here again!
- Katienanna (8/5): - I wasn't sure what to expect, but after reading comments I expected cleanliness and that's what we got! The rooms are very clean, which was great to see. The exterior is being worked on as of June 2019. Looks like the owners are dedicated and taking this place step by step, and turn an older motel to a nice place again, which is great to see.
We knew the continental breakfast wouldn't be much, and it isn't. There are places to eat, fast food and sit down, within immediate walking distance, and a really nice playground for kids (which we had) very close by. I would suggest maybe more breakfast as time goes on and maybe a guide for the hotel- amenities in this cute community. A plus for travelers!
- Verified traveler (6/5): An okay place to sleep. - While the room was clean, we were greeted with a funky, stale smell when we entered the room. As luck would have it, the ice machine quit working the day before we wanted a little ice for our cooler. Continental breakfast was sad—cold cereal and packaged rolls. All we needed was a place to sleep, and we got that.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - “My Biggest Like” at the Park Drive Inn is Halena who, from the moment I arrived, made my stay absolutely splendid.
From checking-me-in cheerfully, to the check-out, her attentive and friendly and caring disposition were wonderful—and I was enjoying myself so much that I extended my stay to Two Nights.
The rooms are remodeled, spacious and comfortable—and you will be walking distance from StarBrite for excellent eating—and an equally hospitable experience. (Their food is Hometown Great.)
I enjoyed myself immensely and will be back!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This place was great!!! My room was soooo clean!!!! I have never been to a place that clean. And the staff was so attentive. Halena and her husband(forgive me, I forgot his name)make sure you have everything you need. I will definitely be going back!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is not a luxury stay but the room was very clean. The Mom and Pop managers were very hospitable. The best Caro has tom offer.
CSC
- Curt (8/5): Good - Stay was fine. Clean comfortable room.
- Marsha (8/5): - Old motel, but they are doing a nice job updating the rooms. it is close to highway so you do get some noise from highway which is real close.
- Verified traveler (6/5): A basic hotel - A basic hotel. Clean. Parking area was dark and dreary, felt unsafe
- Edward (8/5): Thumbs up for cleanliness!! - Not a lot of options in Caro.. Do not let the outside of the building turn you away. It may not look like much on the outside, but this place had the CLEANEST rooms I've ever experienced! LOTS of food choices as well as a bar/restaurant/bowling alley a within walking distance, as well as a bar/restaurant/bowling alley a minutes walk East.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - WOW!!!! We have traveled extensively and have never stayed at a cleaner establishment!
The outward appearance is a little off-putting because it looks as if the interior has been recently up-graded but the exterior hasn't. However the staff were always busy: sweeping parking lot, polishing office windows, etc.
When one of our party found there was no ice-machine, one of the staff
left and hurried back with a bag of ice.
I would whole-heartedly recommend this motel.
ould whole-heartedly
- Gwen (10/5): - Quiet, spacious room. Very clean. Convenient location. Good value.
- Marie (8/5): - Convenient to restaurants. Not a very pretty location but easy access.
- Natalie (8/5): - The outside of the building does not speak for the entire facility. Our room was newly remodel and clean.
- Royd (8/5): Mr. Moore - The motel was clean, well kept, and staff was very helpful.
- Bob (8/5): - Suprsingly nice. Room has been updated. Bed was clean and comfortable.
- Gabrielle (10/5): Will definitely return - We had an excellent experience. Rooms were clean and property was beautiful. Service was excellent!
- Josh (10/5): Friendly Staff & Very Clean Rooms - Great place to stay and super friendly staff. Will defiantly be back for the next Caro Winter Fest.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Room needs work - Hotel was as good as expect. Needs a smoke detector, fan cover, new curtain.
