• Senthil (7/5): It’s okay, not worth the price. - Nice cabin vibe and friendly staffs Hot water was warm at its best (not hot), so showering in the winter cold was terrible!! The roof was leaking!! Was not worth the $ price we paid.

• Guat (9/5): - we were upgraded to condo and it was amazing. the entire place was lined with timber. Beds were comfortable and show was great. they even have a 'fireplace' to keep us warm and create such warm and homely environment the night was really cold outside
• N (10/5): Heerlijk verblijf in houten condo in de natuurl - Gezellig ingerichte lodge condo. Goed uitgeruste keuken. De condo was bereikbaar via een verwarmde hal en via een open gallerij aan de voorkant. Bedden waren zeer comfortabel. Condo was zeer schoon en netjes onderhouden. Fijne plek om te zijn. Wij zouden hier zeker terug willen komen en langere tijd verblijven. Prachtig gelegen in het bos. Wij verbleven buiten het ski-seizoen, dus het was rustig. Goede uitvalsbasis om Mount Hood en omstreken te bezichtigen. Er is op het terrein een korte wandeling door het bos. Er is 1 badkamer, wat een uitdaging kan zijn wanneer je er daadwerkelijk met 8 personen zou verblijven. Wij hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het restaurant, deze was wel open. Eigenlijk viel er niets tegen. Maar iets wat misschien handig is om te weten: Er is slaapplaats voor 8 personen, maar er staat een eettafel met stoelen voor 4 personen. Was voor ons niet echt een probleem.

• Dominique (8/5): Hébergement parmi les sapins Douglas - L’environnement de la forêt et le surclassement dû à un problème de douche, nous avons eu à l’étage tout un appartement pour 8 personnes ! Lit confortable et dose de café offert. Feu de cheminée au gaz qui a donné l’ambiance. Attention les chambres donnent sur une coursive dans un couloir, donc pas de vue directe vers l’extérieur, mais ils y a des baies vitrées, cela rend la chambre malgré tout assez sombre. Le restaurant est assuré par un chef qui nous a séduit par ces plats : boulettes, risotto aux asperges et macaronis aux asperges également, la soirée aurait été très agréable si notre serveur avait mis plus d’entrain à nous servir ! Nous avons eu l’impression de le déranger !. Bref, le restaurant n’est pas ouvert tout les jours, et vue l’ambiance du dîner nous avons évité le p’tit déjeuner !

• JIALING (10/5): Nice lodge - Very nice lodge. We had an upgrade at the front desk when we checked in to a condo, such a nice condo we took a lot of picutures. It had a full kitchen and a cozy living room + 2 bedrooms + 4 single bed on the second floor. We will definitely go back one day with our families. We also received a coffee bag as welcome gift which smelled very good(also tasted good). The location is also very convenient and short drive to several trail heads. We didn’t have a chance to try the onsite restaurant, but next time when we go back we’ll try!

Heather, who was our server for breakfast, was so sweet and offered ideas for things to do. The food was delicious for both breakfast and lunch. Property was so pretty and convenient to hiking trails. We will be back!

• Gerry (10/5): Most Beautiful Room and Location - Beyond beautiful room and setting Everything in our king room was wooden and decidedly upscale. The room came with a wet bar, refrigerator/freezer and a wine chiller. The restaurant served delicious elk burgers that blew us away. Breakfast waffles with fresh fruits and thick real maple syrup were amazing too. Best value room ever, so book it! That we couldn't stay for a week!
• John (9/5): A very nice peaceful, quiet stay in the forest. - This resort is a long way from the nearest towns, Government Camp and Parkdale, 30 and 20 minutes away respectively. It consists of log cabins in the forest among the huge Douglas Fir, Ponderosa Pines, Cottonwood and other evergreens. There is a restaurant at the resort (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays when we were there), so we drove to Parkdale to purchase food. Reception upgraded us without additional charge to a large condo unit with a full kitchen, 3 bedrooms and beds for 8. We were very happy with our one night stay. We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed when we were there and would have loved to have a hot tub. But we very much enjoyed the comfortable couch in the living room in front of the fireplace and the very comfortable bed,

The family staying upstairs from us made a lot of noise in the evening and we were really tired from our days’ activities so wanted to go to sleep early. They sounded like a herd of elephants! Very clean place lots of towels. The parking lot could have used a little more scraping, very icy, and it rained making it very slick. Being an older facility, though well kept up it was a little noisy with the neighbors. It was very quiet at night though.

All staff were extremely friendly & upgraded us to have a full apartment since the restaurant was closed for two of the days due to being there off-season. Great location to take in the Fall Colors & easy drive to Hood River & Ski Resorts! Loved the location & food.

They literally walked us to our room provided us with a very nice upgrade and in a condo that was so comfortable spacious and very clean. If you're considering booking here, don't even bother reading the rest of this review until your reservation is complete. Then come back and read more ;) But seriously, check in was strict at 3, no early checkin which was fine. Then when we came back they upgraded us from the 2 queen room to the condo, and it was the best room I've ever stayed in. The guy next to us informed us that the cabins are the same layout as the condos except dog friendly, so I went and booked veterans day weekend and it was cheaper per night rather than on this app. But anywho, make sure to call and ask for the breakfast ticket, it's for 2 people so you'll save! Both dinner and breakfast were great! The amount of peace, happiness and comfort felt here was a gift from God. We were so blessed to get upgraded, and so thankful for the getaway. We are so excited to come back!!! What a steal for how many beds you get and the comfy feeling of being in a beautiful place. They had lots of games and volleyball etc to play which would be so much fun if you had kids or more energy than we did after hiking. What a relaxing getaway place though! We got the free passes to go up the chairlift on the last day too If you've read all this and still aren't sure it's worth it, book it anyways. All of the people working were awesome as well
• Sarah (10/5): Lovely outdoorsy location near Mount Hood. - We absolutely loved our stay! We stayed only one night but were thinking of ways we could try and extend our stay and eventually come back in the future. The on site restaurant had amazing food. We loved being able to access a trail from the property. Our Condo was amazing we loved sitting on the porch reading our books.

• Ingrid (2/5): - I just finished a 6 Hour Drive and they wouldn’t let me do an early check-in and told me that I’m lucky that I could check in at 4 PM and that our event was at 5 that we were supposed to go to when we finally got in our room. We had no water. Thanks for the early check-in. Lol I will never go there again advice people not to go up there find a bed-and-Breakfast or stay in the Dalles they did not offer any kind of refund to me for the inconvenience I will tell you please don’t stay there. You would be disappointed. They said they have air conditioning. Air conditioning is in the hallway, not in the room. You have to open your windows to get the air in, very inconvenient. Staff was really rude and snobbish. If they had no stars I would give that!
• Denise (4/5): - We stayed at the Inn and not the cabins. Our first mistake, as the room we had (14) was VERY dark and smelled of dog. We have a hypoallergenic dog because i am allergic. My throat immediately began to hurt. The inn has a closed in hallway, that has windows that do not open. Our room had zero fresh air and zero air conditioning. If you are claustrophobic in any way, do not stay in these rooms. Choose the cabins which are roomy, have more light and windows and doors to the outside. The staff were exceptionally accommodating with wanting to move us if there were openings. There were not so we had no choice but to cut our stay short. The only restaurant on site and for miles, was severely understaffed and we had poor service and poor food quality. Overall not a good experience for us. We may try again with a cabin next time because it is a very charming and lovely place on the mountain.

• Erika (10/5): - Beautiful log cabin lodge with wonderful staff! Loved the grounds and large tent full of yard games. Dined at the restaruant and it was delicious!

• Milton (7/5): Laid back Mt. Hood resort - Nice location between Hood River and Timberline. Much more laid back than Timberline, but with mountain resort vibes rather than the golf condos of Rhododendron. Rooms were cozy old-fashioned knotty pine. Nice. Breakfast was great! Rooms are lined along a corridor with passing foot traffic, so no outside view and some privacy concerns. The separate cabins looked a lot nicer than that individual rooms. Bathroom was clean but worn.
• Lisa (10/5): Matilda Approved - My friend, our two dogs, and I were touring Oregon. I booked this online and couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. We had a cabin that backed up to the open field. The dogs loved smelling all of the new scents, we loved hiking around the property. We took advantage of the well maintained BBQs and made our own steaks for dinner and a night cap at the tavern to end our stay.
