- Sarah (10/5): -
- Gavin (10/5): Great overnight stay , lovely owners who had plenty of time for you.would definitely recommend. - Very nice property in a lovely village.
- Pol (9/5): -
- S Phillips (10/5): Exceptional B&B with lovely rooms and a great breakfast! - Incredibly lovely B&B with friendly, considerate hosts. We stayed in The Emery room which was a delight. Spotlessly clean with a large comfortable double bed and a beautiful bathroom. Large walk-in shower with oodles of space and plenty of home-brand toiletries that smelt great! Easy parking, fresh delicious breakfast and just a short 5 min walk into the centre of Eccleshall to the pub. Couldn't have been better! Exceptional. That we couldn't stay longer!
- Ceri (9/5): A pleasure to stay here with lovely friendly hosts. - Unfortunately breakfast wasn't earlier enough for us but we know from past experience how good it is using fresh local produce. Room is lovely. Bed, pillows and bedding all make sleeping easy - plus the location of the B & B is very quiet. Room temps can be easily adjusted. Bathroom floor was freezing! The number of stairs up to the room could be an issue for some people..? Shame we couldn't have an early cooked breakfast but that is not the fault of the B&B.
- Shereen (10/5): A lovely and special B&B with very friendly hosts - Andy and Helen were exceptional hosts and very friendly My Gluten free breakfast was very tasty and I felt really looked after , which was really nice as I was on my own.
- Fiona (9/5): Good - All very good and helpful. Could have had a lighter duvet as the one we had seemed to be a Winter weight one.
- Stuart (9/5): -
- Niall (10/5): -
- Sharon (10/5): Superb - Everything , the decor , the food was amazing , the welcome superb and the bedroom was comfy
- NEIL (8/5): -

- anderson (10/5): Beautifully furnished room. Everything about the Eafle House was faultless - Did not have breakfast. Lovely location N/A
- Maya (10/5): Comfy stay in a historic house - Lovely big bedroom with period furniture, and a modern bathroom. Bed was very comfy. Owners were warm and welcoming, and atmosphere homely. All good.
- Mark (10/5): Very good thank you -
- Matthew (10/5): Great B&B with charm, character and great hosts - The hosts were very welcoming and I loved all the little touches, especially my love hearts found after a search! The room was clean and provided me with all requirements. The building was beautiful and well decorated. A B&B is bed and breakfast. I had room only with no breakfast. The additional cost to include it (i thought) was expensive.
- Simon (10/5): great house, great hosts -
- Anna (8/5): A delightful b&b with a warm welcome and walking distance of a very nice little town. - A very comfortable B&B with a warm welcome and ideally suited to our needs. The owners have thought hard about what their guests need and there were lots of very thoughtful touches. A short walk into the centre of the town for food and drinks. There were lots of unique little touches in the room and bathroom including homemade crafts etc but that didn't leave a lot of space to put your own things!
- Brendan (10/5): -
- Glenys (10/5): -
- Karen (10/5): Great stay. - Handy location near centre of Eccleshall with parking. Good size room spotlessly clean. Hosts very welcoming and great breakfast. Nothing.

The room was spacious and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
The hosts were welcoming and very helpful. We were nervous about parking our car outside of the property grounds.
We felt the dining tables were small, only a little issue but it meant having to get up everytime to top up tea or coffee.
- Henry (10/5): -

Hosts were really helpful and friendly
Organising a taxi back to Stafford train station after my stay was very straightforward I always like a bath when I’m away, but the walk in shower was great
- Nick (10/5): It was great. - There was not a lot that we didn’t like about the house. The beds were great the welcoming was lovely the breakfasts were extremely well thought out with plenty of choices, Andy’s scrambled egg was spot on and the flapjack was super. Perhaps the only small problem we had was that it was a little cold in the evening but other than that we had a great stay. Thank you
- Bryan (9/5): Superb - Excellent choice for breakfast
- Deborah (10/5): We had a great time and will return. - Helen and Andy were very welcoming and helpful and the homemade flapjack on arrival was delicious. The room was very clean and comfortable. - Jamie (10/5): Excellent accommodation, great value for money. Amazing hosts - It was beautiful, the decor is amazing. The owner made us some flapjacks which were perfect! Amazing host will defo use again Nothing
- Jonathan (10/5): Perfection ! - What a delightful stay at this beautiful establishment. From the warm personal greeting upon arrival, to the Michelin standard breakfast. I cannot recommend this B+B highly enough. Its probably the best overnight stay I have been to.
Many thanks to Helen and Andy.
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (10/5): Perfect! - Cannot fault one bit. Faultless communication, fantastic building with it's history kept pristine. A tour provided so we knew everything we needed. Our hosts were so wonderful!
Car charging available (book beforehand).
Comfortable bed is an understatement, china cups, little hidden treats if you explore the history 😉
This is the definition of a B & B in the UK. Perfection personified. We will definitely be back.
- David (10/5): As per above - The Eagle House was set in a perfect location near to all amenities. Helen and Andy were the perfect hosts any requests were quickly met. Thanks for a lovely stay. Everything was satisfactory.

So welcoming with the party ring biscuits, fruit & best of all, the homemade flapjack! Loved everything!

- Richard (9/5): Eagle stay near the heart of Eccleshall - I missed that on booking the self-catering apartment there was no breakfast, but that could be had 10 minutes down the road at the Flour & Co. restaurant, very nice food there. Lovely flat, very comfortable bed, quiet, hot shower. All in all perfect! Wonderful hosts. For once, nothing I can think of, except clean the rust off the shower lights. Wow, that is rare for me after all these years...

- Robin (10/5): A Country Slice of luxury. - Truly comfortable and very clean. The hosts Helen and Andy gave me the warmest of welcomes and couldn’t do more to make me feel at home.
I will be back!
- Adam (9/5): Beautiful country house, lots of nice touches, very clean - Beautiful property. It’s 5 star hotel standard, not your typical B@B. All details thought about, from flapjacks on arrival to a torch to see in the dark if you go for a walk in the garden. SPLITTING HAIRS… only minor points: I didn’t see any AC so might be a challenge in the hotter months. Gardens were overgrown, so not as pretty as in the pictures. Some flexibility with check in times would have been good.
- Aylesha (10/5): Exceptional - beautiful surroundings, lovely room very comfy bed, owners very friendly
- Harvey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trevor (9/5): Superb -
- Claire (10/5): Excellent property, will visit again. - A beautiful property with very nice comfortable rooms. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts and looked after throughout our short stay. Freshly cooked breakfast was delicious.
Highly recommend 👌 There is a beautiful winding staircase up to the bedrooms which was fine for us but could be difficult for some guests?
Only improved I would suggest- a magnified mirror for people like me to do make up 😂
- Brenda (10/5): Excellent...thank you. - We were met by the owner to check in and given a tour of the accommodation. The room was very well equipped for an overnight stay. We would definitely recommend to anyone considering staying here...you won't be disappointed!
The choice on offer for breakfast was superb and my vegetarian daughter was delighted with being able to have several options...this is rare. Nothing...no complaints
- David (9/5): A comfortable, relaxing stay in rural Staffordshire. - The location afforded a down hill walk into the village of Eccleshall.
The room was spacious, warm and well decorated.
Helen and Andy could not have been more helpful to ensure our stay was the best possible.
- Eliza (10/5): Exceptional -
