We needed 3 sleeping areas, there were 2 bedrooms and bed in the lounge, very comfortable sleep although one person heard the traffic noise. Granada’s restaurant over the road was an extra bonus great restaurant.

Sky tv a bonus for sport.Self help laundry clean with good washing and drying machines. Would stay again when passing.Were there for 2 nights.

It had the normal ammenities of a motel with a comfortable bed, clean and tidy and updated interior. An added bonus was they had undercover parking next to each unit. Would stay here again.

We got the last unit close to the road but slept well. Undercover parking for the car so stayed dry as we unloaded.

- nadswoods (2/5): Booking cancelled because we arrived at 7pm instead of 6pm - We had a horrible experience with Montana lodge- what made it worse was Reception staff was rude, unapologetic and made out it was all our fault. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. We booked over the phone on the recommendation of another motel in town that was fully booked. We registered two cards with the reception staff. The first card we were told ‘wasn’t valid’ which it was, it was an NZ card we had used the whole trip. We then registered my NZ card which was accepted. Arrived in at 7pm after a long day traveling up from Hanmer Springs to be told out room had been given away because it was 7pm and we said we would arrive at 6pm. We had called at 5pm to confirm our booking by name and confirm the address of the motel!!! Which they confirmed over the phone. They could have easily called us they had our phone number with all the other details of our booking! Reception staff then said our booking wasn’t ‘confirmed’ because of our cards which both worked perfectly fine. Ours was the last room and it was given to a walk in. Reception staff was rude, unapologetic and made out it was all our fault. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone, horrible experience.
- LaraMaree (10/5): Immaculate, very reasonable price. - This is a lovely clean motel, great for a family of 5. Has 2 bedroom units, with nice linen and comfortable beds. Lovely swimming pool and grounds. Staff were very helpful and forgiving, they didn’t charge me for a night where I had booked the wrong date. Carports for the cars too which is very nice to keep cars in the shade. Across the road is Gramado’s, rated number 1 restaurant in Blenheim, we had a fantastic meal there and walked home after a drink or two!

It was great not to have to worry about anything in the early hours of the morning and to just be able to arrive and get some sleep. It was clean and tidy and in the morning, check out was super easy and friendly.

Easy access to Motel with covered parking . Front units may get road noise as motel is on Main thoroughfare , but shouldn’t be a major !
- Ezra710 (8/5): One night in Blenheim - Just a one night stopover in Blenheim this time, on our way home from the North Island, so decided to try a different motel. Located on the RHS on the way south out of Blenheim, each unit has covered parking, which is a plus. Clean and comfortable, but let down by a strong smell (smoke?) - come on, people, read the signs; not everyone wants to breathe second hand smoke all night! Friendly, helpful, staff.

- 95rc (10/5): Excellent Motel, highly recommend - We had a school sports group stay for a week and found our host to be particularly helpful and most accommodating. It was a great spot for our group to stay and the facilities were perfect. Lovely outdoor area with pool, grass and tables, rooms all very good. Yong was very helpful and friendly and I would like to thank him very much.
- Subie73 (10/5): The staff are brilliant - The room is clean and tidy - I booked room for one person and was surprised to find it sleeps 5 very comfortably (all beds). Attentive staff and a reasonably good location - not too far from the city centre. Tidy grounds and great parking. Basic kitchen (with microwave and benchtop oven), decent sized bathroom. Good rates for this time of the year and at short notice. Huge TV with Sky and free WIFI. Would recommend it.

- Wildflower-3333 (8/5): Very Nice - A well situated motel to use when exploring the Marlborough wine country. Facilities are good, rooms are clean and well equipped and the staff are friendly and efficient. Only a 10-minute walk into town centre (but be careful of the traffic when crossing main roads).
- IanTheTraveller (4/5): Traffic noise - Location is on highway 1 and the trucks go thundering past all night. Obviously a common issue because they had a jar of earplugs in the bathroom. Otherwise clean and tidy but the noise is a killer so cannot be recommended.

- KiwichickNewJersey (10/5): Great Motel - We spent a night here in January 2019. It's a fantastic motel - clean, great units, great location and friendly front desk. We were there with our dog, and the motel was very accommodating. I would highly recommend the Montana Motor Lodge.
- AngAhSin (8/5): Pleasant overnight stay - While enroute to Kaikoura, we booked a night stay at Montana. The entry into the compound gave us a pleasant feeling. Each unit has its own covered parking lot next to the unit. If I remembered correctly, the free wifi was very limited by today's user's requirement. Fortunately, we have our own travel own travel data plan. Overall, it is a good place to stay as it is comfortable and has a kitchen if you need to cook.

- 247KarenB (10/5): Managers are Superstars - Our family stayed two nights recently in a two bedroom apartment. We chose this motel because it is pet friendly and we were travelling with our dog. Brian and Raewyn honestly couldn't have been more inviting and friendly. They were marvellous. They welcomed our Chihuahua who has 'people issues' with open arms, allowed her to go inside the unit, helped us with directions to places and even loaned us towels for taking away from the motel to use during the day. We were so impressed with their service that we will definitely go back to stay. Thank you!
- Ebbe5 (10/5): A Shining Star in a Sea of Motels - We got into town late and were recommended to stay at the Montana as we just needed a studio room for the night. Brian greeted us so warmly upon check in and couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. The room was great...Sparkly clean and comfortable bed plus a fully stocked kitchen and heater in the bathroom. We did laundry and they provided soap which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and we would recommend this motel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Blenheim.

- Clive (10/5): Lovely stay in Blenheim. - Really nice stay. The owner was very helpful. Suggested a wine tour for us and it was excellent. Well equipped kitchen. Good bathroom. A little far out of town, but there is a good bar/restaurant across the road. Unfortunately they were closed on Mondays, so had to wait until Tuesday to get the benefit. Strange system for WiFi, we used our quota up in the first couple of hours, but the owner was quite happy to top us up. Would stay again.

- Kevin and Angel (10/5): Close to all amenities - Friendly hosts made us feel welcome and gave advice when we asked about good local restaurants. Motel is situated a six minute walk from the shuttle bus pick up for the Marlborough Food & Wine Festival, plus there is a general store and an excellent Fish and Chip shop just across the road. When our flight was cancelled due to bad weather we rang the motel immediately and secured a room for another night.
