- Tania (8/5): Agréable week-end - Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’emplacement de l’hôtel ainsi que la grande chambre qui nous a été donnée. Le petit déjeuner est très apprécié également. Les lits étaient très confortable et la chambre était assez propre. C’est aussi assez calme même si des fois on peux entendre énormément les gens parler dehors dans le bâtiment, même au 4eme étage. Nous avions pu trouver de petites araignées par ci par là. Cependant le plus gros problème dont nous avons été confronté a été le service de limousine bus. En effet, nous avons eu 3 heures de retard car celui-ci n’était pas bien géré, nous avons finalement pu obtenir une remise mais si vous souhaitez prendre ce service un conseil, ne le prenez pas pendant les jours fériés même si je doute fort que ça change réellement quelque chose; le retard à été dû au service en lui même. Un premier conducteur, qui était lui aussi en retard de 1h30 nous a amené à un bureau de voyage où nous avons dû attendre encore 1 heure là bas pour pouvoir monté dans un limousine bus. Ensuite, après peut être 2 heures de trajet nous sommes arrivés à un autre bureau de voyage afin de faire un transfert pour un autre bus qui lui nous a par la suite emmené à l’hôtel.

- Georgia (5/5): Alright - It was in a good location and they provided a nurse for my boyfriend as he was sick. The bathroom was a little mouldy around the grout and the receptionist knocked on our door at 9:30pm to ask us to pay for our accommodation.

- Hayden (10/5): - The staff here are incredibly kind and helpful. Late at night they provided us with additional pillows that we only asked for if they had, helped us book a tour and showed us to our rooms. The next day, we had already checked out of our room but had left our belongings to be stored there while on a tour. On said tour my partner was stung by a bee and we had to come back into town, it was quite a stressful occasion and they very kindly came and gave us a room key to use at our discretion to have a shower and clean ourselves up free of charge. This alone gets a massive rating from me. In regards to the room, it was cleaner and bigger than some higher end, more expensive hotels I have stayed in around the world. The aircon and fan keeps the room cool. The shower/bathroom was quite large. The bed was big and very comfortable.

Beaucoup de choix au petit déjeuner Hélas, réveillée toutes les nuits par le chant du coq qui n’attend pas que le jour arrive pour chanter ! Ça peut-être 4h du matin ou plusieurs fois dans la nuit. L’hôtel peut il y faire quelque chose ?

Piscine avec serviette. 63€ la nuit… c’était cher pour ça… Grande chambre mais hôtel bruyant (pas d’insonorisation et bruit des climatisations toute la nuit).

- robert (5/5): - Nice staff The hotel barely resembles the nice photos, which I think were taken over a decade ago, the pool was dirty and there were scaffolding structures above it that looked awful, so we didn't swim. The rooms were fairly clean but old and worn with no style and didn't have the same furniture as the photos. Pretty bad breakfast. Overall the hotel is tired and in need of a serious update, not worth the price at all and it's in Tam Coc, which is a really awful tourist trap. Do yourself a favour and go to a neighbouring small village or town for a much cheaper authentic experience

- Thúy (9/5): - Khách sạn có hồ bơi, không gian phòng rộng rãi và thoáng. Chỗ nghỉ gần bến thuyền Tam Cốc và các quán ăn nên rất tiện. Mình book 2 đêm nhưng do bão nên cancel 1 đêm thì khách sạn hỗ trợ hướng dẫn mình hoàn tiền lại. Nhân viên nhiệt tình. Do đúng đợt ảnh hưởng bão nên cả khu Ninh Bình Tam Cốc bị mất điện. Khách sạn lại không có máy phát điện thì cũng khá bất tiện nhưng khoảng 2h thì chính quyền xử lý xong có điện lại. Đây là tình trạng chung tất cả khu từ phố cổ đến Tam Cốc hàng quán cúp điện hết. Hi vọng sẽ sớm phát triển hơn để phục vụ cả khi có vấn đề này.

- Konstantin (10/5): - Out of everywhere we stayed during our two-week trip around Vietnam, Happy Tam Coc Ecolodge was hands down the best. The property is stunning—surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and lush greenery, it feels peaceful and secluded, yet still super close to everything. Bich Dong Pagoda is just a five-minute walk away, and most tourist spots are only a short scooter ride. What really made the stay special was Lily. She was so kind and helpful the entire time—genuinely one of the nicest hosts I’ve met. You can tell she truly cares about making sure guests have a great experience. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and breakfast was made to order every morning (and really tasty!). We also rented a scooter directly from the ecolodge, which made exploring the area super easy. If you’re heading to Ninh Binh, I can’t recommend this place enough. It was the highlight stay of my whole trip.

- Bertie (8/5): We would stay here again due to the location but it was a little expensive - We changed to this hotel due to it being in a better location for us and it did just that with the extra of a really lovely pool and it was super clean and had very friendly helpful staff. It’s on a great road which is in the middle of everything and it was really quiet at night also. I would recommend The air con stopped working in the middle of the night and it was quite hard to get hold of a member of staff because the reception isn’t 24 hour. But after a little while we managed to find someone.

- Steve (8/5): Best located hotel in Tam Coc - Excellent central location in heart of Tam Coc. We enjoyed using the swimming pool. Rather basic facilities but beds were very comfy which is main thing. We thought we were getting a bath but just a shower. Breakfast was rather basic compared to others in Vietnam. No egg station or bacon! Seems to be used by a lot of tour groups e.g. intrepid. Be aware street life in Tam Coc starts early I.e. 5.30am!

Breakfast is poor, likely they have some fruit. Swimming pool is dirty and has a weird orange color on the bottom so we didn't use it. Aircon has only heating and fan option, what about if it's warm in the room ? The building doesn't have any isolation, we were staying at the highest level and we can hear people talking from the ground floor... When i took a normal shower, we can be sure my partner will have cold water after me. Hotel much too expensive for poor facilities

He was very responsive and friendly and took care of our needs i.e. room change, transportation that was cheaper than Grab & laundry service via hotel. Breakfast was very good. Our first room had AC but the second room the AC did not work.

Breakfast was basic continental style plus eggs cooked to order. Pool looked nice but it was too cold to use it while we were there. Reception staff available to book excursions or transportation for you. Laundry service was prompt (same day). There is a currently renovations ongoing on the main floor but doesn't affect the room comfort.

Great swimming pool to use. The lighting in the bathroom was poor, a bit dark and the toilet/drain had a horrendous smell at random times. The bars nearby were noisy, even though the rules are that the bars shut the music at 10pm, it didn't always happen, sometimes the karaoke went on until midnight (but not every night).

- Ruilacao (10/5): Exceptional - This is a real hotel, with real hotel facilities and services: daily Room cleaning, breakfast Buffett, a great pool. The beds are cofortable, the rooms are spacious. The staff is very kind and helpful. Both the recepcionists (Dinh and Hai) speak English, they were extremely helpful with my day to day planning. The ladies in the breakfast are Also very kind. I definitly had a great experience and totally recommend this hotel.

It is in the main street, close to nice restaurants, shops, a spa, and a karaoke bus. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was very kind and caring. The pool was covered with a roof (but seems normal in Vietnam?), which was a bit disappointing.

- Hazel (8/5): Great location for our three day stay in Tam Coc - Well located hotel close to lots of cafes and restaurants and the river experiences. Very spacious room Very basic appointments in room but fine for a short stay. WiFi was very intermittent
- Noriko (8/5): We had a nice stay in general. - The staff were accommodating and friendly. The location is good. The fresh fruits for breakfast were so good. The shower didn’t have good water pressure, but it did the job.
- Eoin (8/5): Very good - Had a great rest here. Slept very well. Very good location. Can cycle around all the sights from here. Plenty of nice restaurants around too. Unfortunately the breakfast was not good. They were trying to provide western style breakfast but wasn't good. Coffee was very weak and cold.
- Yen (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to Tam Coc boat ride. Will stay again.
- Giacomo (10/5): Great staying: nice and clean hotel with really kind and well organized staff - The room was modern, tidy, and clean. The staff was really nice and kind, they even let us check out late in the evening (22pm) right before taking the night bus to Sa pa (which they organised perfectly). Amazing staying, definitely recommended! Nothing
- Eduardo (8/5): Quiet rooms to rest in such a busy city. - Very well situated the accommodation in town. Walking distances pretty much everywhere in town.
- Kevin (9/5): Superb - The Nam Hoa Hotel is situated in the centre of town with plenty of restaurants and bars etc immediatly outside we were given a rear room which was large, dual aspect and really quiet we loved the room, its quality furnature, bedding, linen and fixtures This is a high end room for not much more than budget price The pool area has been fitted with a roof (strange) there is no outside space to sit the hotel doesnt flow and new building work is being undertaken when existing works still need finishing. Breakfast not great but overall good value we would definately recommend

- Patricia (6/5): Great location and comfortable room - Great location with helpful person on reception. Big room, comfy bed and good hot water. They had bicycles we could use which we really enjoyed. We were there over TET so there were some large family groups who were very noisy at night. Other times it was quiet.
- Vera (8/5): Great place: I can definitely recommend it - The room was big and clean, and has a balcony ( B407) and is very well situated in the centre. In the morning the market comes to life, which is next to the hotel, and it is a lovely way to wake up to a new day ( but that might not be a thing for everyone) We could use the bicycles from the hotel to move around and the receptionist was very helpful to get us a motorbike for two days and arranged a taxi to Noi Bai Airport which was a luxury car and a very smooth transfer. Breakfast was very good. They are doing a serious restoration at the moment, so during the day there is a lot of drilling and noises. But luckily that’s in the A building of the hotel, in our room we had no problem with the noise. I am sure it’s going to be a great place to stay once they are done with all the works. What is bothering in the room is the sewer smell that comes and goes, most likely it has to do with the river behind the hotel. I

- Zdenek (8/5): Not prepared for cold weather. - It was in the centrum. We were unlucky weather wise however inside the room were no means to get warm (AC with heating or heater). So the only possibility to get warm was to shower. So basically all three days we spent there we were freezing. Also the breakfast was not that incredible. It could have been due to low number of guests at that time of the year. And in the dining room it was cold as well.
- Virginia (9/5): A clean, friendly place to stay. - It was an excellent large room in the heart of town. We had free use of their bicycles.
- Mehmet (6/5): not again - good location. large room with balcony. TV didn't work at all. very modest breakfast. heavy construction was going on, everywhere dusty.
