- Kyle (7/5): Clean and quiet but expensive for what you get, which is mostly the clean and quiet. - Loved the cleanliness and location on the river, slso very quiet. Bed was very uncomfortable, no pool, no spa, no continental breakfast. Could at least offer coffee and breakfast for the price of a stay. Didn’t look too busy but still didn’t get a riverside room with a view.

On the down side, there was no free water in the rooms, no free coffee in the reception area, no free breakfast, and the food at the restaurant was horrid. We paid a premium for the room and expected more. My rating would have been better for one free coffee...

- Larissa (8/5): Entirely average. - Honestly, I had expected it to be a little nicer than it was since it’s a pretty new hotel and more expensive than others in the area. There’s free coffee in the rooms, but you have to pay for the coffee in the lobby. Also, the listing does state that breakfast is not included, but again, since this hotel is more expensive, yet completely average in every other way, it didn’t seem really worth the extra cost to have so little included. Being on the river isn’t that great of a view and our room faced the parking lot anyway. I’ve had better experiences with a Holiday Inn Express.

- Dream27569879643 (8/5): Beautiful location, pleasant stay. - Lovely modern feel hotel . Near Lawerence University and on the Fox River. We opted for balcony room riverside and it was lovely as were the outdoor areas and landscaping. There is a nice walking trail that we intended to use until a tweaked back interfered. We requested a top floor riverside balcony room - a little last minute so we were put on the next floor down and yes, we could hear walking noise from above. All in all a pleasant one night stay.

- Harold (4/5): - Didn't like: 1. check in -- didn't like the small luggage carts with no ability to hang clothes. There was a place to hang clothes on the handle but when we tried it our clothes got tangled in the wheels. 2. The soap, shampoo, conditioner in the shower were basically anonymous. The print is almost the same shade as the background on the bottles. Try taking a shower in your facility. 3. The faucet in the sink is poorly designed. It doesn't project far enough into the bowl of the sink. Water splashes everywhere when you try to use it. 4. MOST ANNOYING-- I heard the woman in the coffee shop tell a customer that guests are entitled to one free coffee. However, she charged my husband $4.22 for the coffee. She said we could get it taken off our bill at checkout but there was no one at the front desk. After waiting several minutes, we could not wait any longer and had to leave. We deserve at least our $4.22 back. 5. We recommend that you try spending a night at your own hotel, and then tell us why we would want to return.

The staff especially Keith was very kind and accommodating to my special request. It was game day so he gave us great advice on how to navigate during the football time. Our room was lovely, it was clean and comfortable. I would recommend staying here. They are close to restaurants and bars which was a plus for my family.

We were quite disappointed that coffee in the lobby was not included (other Marriotts that we've stayed at offered free coffee in the lobby even tho they too had a Starbucks and attached bistro), and that if you wanted to use bottled water to make the awful tasting coffee in your room you had to pay over $4 for the bottle of Evian, typically they'll leave 2 complimentary bottles of water for the coffee pot. Minor, but for the cost of the room, this should have been provided. We would consider staying here again if we found a good deal, but not for $270/night with tax.

The night manager we unnecessarily gruff with my husband during check in under the guise that he could only deal with me as my name was on the reservation. This has never happened at a Marriott before and I found the position ridiculous and the tone disrespectful.

- Marjorie (10/5): - We loved the huge fire pit that people could gather around later in the day. The Riverwalk was such a bonus—a great advantage over all those hotels located in the much busier areas. We walked it in the evening and again early in the morning—-beautiful.
- Marilyn (10/5): Very nice! - We loved that it had a walking path right outside of the hotel. We love our morning walks and it was perfect. Coffee maker and coffee. Hotels should have kerigs with a few pods. Just my opinion of course. They did have a Starbucks in the facility, so we went there.
- A2522FUjasony (2/5): Quiet night not guaranteed - this hotel allows pets, which is great, unless you have the unfortunate luck of having a room below a neglected dog. This was our scenario for our anniversary celebration, and the hotel has zero recourse for a noisy dog. the only thing they can do is call the occupants of the room. we ended up leaving, having spent zero out of 2 nights in that place. we were offered a free breakfast as long as we were willing to endure a night filled with dog barks....

- Michelle (8/5): Beautiful property and location! - It’s on the river so the view from the balcony is amazing! Rooms were humid and the half shower door is never my favorite
- tobique (10/5): On thé river - We really enjoyed our stay at this Courtyard. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river, and we spent a very pleasant time relaxing there and looking at the river. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was good, with an excellent shower. The location on the river was very quiet and on a walking trail which led up to a large park. The location was convenient to downtown, but secluded from that busy area. There is a restaurant there if you want to stay in for dinner or breakfast. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
- Boden (7/5): Good - Beautiful setting When the air turned on some sort of allergen came through the air system. It affected me every night to the point where I had severe allergy attacks. I also didn’t realize that it was it a pet friendly hotel. There was a very large yellow lab staying on the same floor that we were on.
- Toni (7/5): Nice - Quiet location The hotel needs to be updated the sink in the bathrooms the faucet is to close to the edge and water gets all over the place. the rooms are becoming out dated needs an update and the balcony needs dividers for more privacy

- Piseu (10/5): Very Nice and On The River! - We have stayed here twice and the location is wonderful on the river with balconies overlooking the river. The rooms are nice and clean and the hotel has a modern feel to it. Comfortable beds and friendly service as well as the wonderful location make this a winner.
- lab0nek (2/5): Bad customer service and sneaky charges. - Visually this is a nice hotel. But, this hotel tries to sneaky charges. I had multiple issues with my billing and I am having to chase them to fix them. All my positive experience has been diminished after this headache and the staffs lack of urgency to correct their mistakes.
