- Pat (10/5): Pleasant and close to amenities ! - Enjoyed the lake access, sun set and the friendly management ! For being on Lakeshore it was quiet (traffic) ! Rooms a little small and TV hard to figure out ! Lol
- JoAnne (3/5): You get what or perhaps don’t get what you pay for. - The bed was excellent. And as much as they could be the rooms were clean. In need of repair and upkeep. Furnishings were less than adequate. Bathroom was small and fan in the bathroom was very loud. The lock on the door would not keep out any self respecting intruder. The construction noise 2 rooms down all day for three days did not allow for any rest or relaxation and when informing staff of this inconvenience we were met with disinterest. We were neither offered a rebate or another room.. oh and don’t drink the coffee, it is nasty.

I didn't use the Wifi but if I stayed longer I definitely would have. I was very comfortable. The only thing it needs is to update the bathroom. The reason for this is my partner is 6ft 8in and the sink is so low (Even for me) . I would definitely use the

Very clean as well. Wish there were nightstands on each side of the bed or atleast one to make up for just a table to the one side.

Great that there are lots of chairs by the lake. 10 min drive to see beautiful Duchesny Waterfalls (West side is the best). Very nice lady at the reception. Lamp at the ceiling needs some work or replacement. Also rusty shower rod and rusty ventilation cover needs paint or replacement. TV needs some written instruction. We watched news online on our notebook instead of TV. Nice to have two chairs to sit on but I wish there was a little table provided too.

- Ann (6/5): Older resort right on the beach. Everything was very clean but could use some further updates. - The location was wonderful - enjoyed the beach. The bedding and linens were very clean and generous amount of towels. Staff was very pleasant. We appreciated the coffee station and fridge. The room smelled heavily of febreeze / cleaner and it really bothered my sisters allergies. The celing fan was a good addition but it seemed it only worked on high. The batteries in the TV remote were low. An extra security chain on the door would be a good idea.

- Melanie (4/5): Only recommend if you want to feel like "roughing" it. - The beds were comfortable. We slept ok. The room made a lot of noises. The bathroom was in bad shape. Everything was just old an in need of a face lift. Bathroom had water damage, mirror was badly stained, bathtub old with staining. The towels were beyond thin and rough. We were stuck to stay here as everything else was sold out - the price was NOT reasonable for the conditions. Almost the same pricing for chain hotels with elevators and pools. Would not stay here again unless I was "camping" and staying here for the lakefront.

- Auntie Mama Pam (10/5): - My husband and I prefer the smaller motels over big chains. I like this place very much. No complaints. The room was very clean. Bathroom was totally spotless. All linens were decent quality with no stains. Having lived in this area the least 5 years I know how hard they have worked to update this motel. Room was tastefully appointed. Recently paint. Nice floors. Working appliances. The bed was great. Other guests were here to ice fish and were quiet and personable. The area seems very quiet. I came outside dozens of time to smoke and nary a peep. HIGH MENTION: super friendly proprietor. Excellent wifi (I was on Zoom all day for school). Pillows were outstanding. Didn’t have that typical motel scent. It was Very fresh. The mattress was outstanding. I travel a lot and you can usually expect a motel to have basic quality. This mattress was luxurious. Finally-the remotes worked fine. IYKYK.

- Gregoire (4/5): Ok but too expensive. - Sitting area by the beach, although it was too cold to sit out there. Everything is so old, there was a bit of a musty smell, there were two lightbulbs out in the ceiling fan so the room was a bit dark, which made it hard to read. All of this woukd habeen more acceptable were the price lower. Definitely not worth $180. Also, no complimentary breakfast.

When we asked her questions or needed anything extra (we had asked if she had a kettle for us to use) she came through with a smile. Beds were comfortable and our rooms (we had 2) were clean. Lovely property that we could walk along the sandy shoreline and watch the sunset. Toilet seat tended to slide sideways but the room was otherwise fine. If you're a light sleeper, you might hear the traffic going by, but I had earplugs so it was fine (and the others I was traveling with didn't notice it).

Since they wouldn't give me a refund for the first two days my grandson stayed, but he felt it uncomfortable as well. I was told that the third day would be reimbursed by Expedia, but so far nothing has happened.
- Real (2/5): - Worst motel experience ever. They don't make the beds, don't change the towels. Wi Fi is worthless. It smells damp and there are molds everywhere and on the last day we saw some cockroaches. It's in the motel I think, in the cottages it's better but I doubt it. I think it's the Pakis who own the cottages. It's too expensive for the quality. We took this motal because the other hotels couldn't accommodate us for two nights. Sorry but we won't be caught again. No star for me

- Patricia (3/5): Very disappointed - Located a short walk from the lake with a gorgeous view! The owner, albeit reluctantly, refunded us 50% Avoid room #1 at all costs!! It smelled like mold the second we walked in the door. Everything was old, dirty, and decrepit. Did not reflect the photos posted on the Booking.com site at all. In addition, there was a loud air conditioner and this room is located right on the road, so much noise!

- Wendy (6/5): This was an enjoyable stay, we had a great sleep and very much enjoyed the sunset and property. Looking forward to tryi - This is our second time staying at this motel. There is an amazing beach area. A lot has been done since our last visit. Beach area upgraded and fire pits and chairs have been added. Our room had some work done but still needs work. Room was clean but had a musty smell. Great water pressure in the shower. Room was quiet and easy to get a great sleep. We will continue to visit this motel and look forward to seeing the upgrades as they continue to work on it. Rooms need more work, it’s obviously a work in progress. Could use a table in room for eating or working. This is a pet friendly motel but there are no garbage containers outside for disposal of doggie bags.

We arrived after the office was closed and the nice lady waited up for us to be sure we were all set. The room was large and comfortable. I will definitely return.

It was a very warm day and we totally enjoyed the beach and your new muskoka . We were very well relaxed on your clean beach Your price was very reasonable for our 1 night stay. A must again for the next time. THANK YOU 😊 I understand this is under new ownership, and we can tell there putting work and renovation into the place . The only thing that caught our attention was the musky smell in the room, but with future renovation, I'm sure this could be corrected . Besides this it was clean and did the job for our needs.
