• Jessica (9/5): - The location was really wonderful and not far from the great spots. Would come here again and do more hiking. The owners were very helpful and friendly. It was a perfect little reset in the forest. The drive was a bit tricky with a bigger vehicle to get to the location. Smaller vehicles would be a better idea for the location.

• JodieW52 (9/5): If you like the country side - We loved the area, and there was plenty of room. The balcony was great and I loved the black and white cat. The beds were a little too firm for me. The first night we were worried about the kids upstairs jumping and yelling I'm not sure who was the loudest the kids or the Dad. The road was a little spooky at night but it was a beautiful view in the sun light

• Marion (5/5): Tolle Lage, einfache Ausstattung, man kann mehr draus machen - Die Lage ist super, mitten im Wald und ein Pizzaofen mit toller Einweisung. Hat super geschmeckt, gemütlich zu sitzen. Sehr in die Jahre gekommen Keine Spülmaschine, Matratzen definitv zu erneuern, man könnte mehr draus machen. Waren vor 6 Jahren schon mal da und es ist nichts erneuert worden.

• Bruno (8/5): Hospedagem interessante - Chalés charmosos de madeira, com vista linda. Ótima oportunidade para vivenciar uma casa típica dessa região da Alemanha. Chalé bem equipado e anfitriã solícita. Apesar do acesso difícil, entregam pizza delivery. Achamos a roupa de cama ruim. No quarto em que fiquei o colchão só tinha um protetor de colchão (não tinha lençol) e as cobertas e fronhas tem aspecto velho, não são confortáveis. O acesso para os chalés é bem estreito e íngrime, sugiro chegar durante o dia.

• Alícia (9/5): Apartament amb vistes espectaculars a la Selva Negra. - La ubicació de l'apartament és fantàstica. Llevar-se al matí enmig de la Selva Negra, amb aquelles vistes tan espectaculars, no té preu. L'apartament ens va resultar molt còmode, ja que els tres fills van poder dormir a la mateixa habitació, en una llitera on el llit de sota és doble. La seva habitació tenia una cuineta i diferents jocs que van fer servir encantats. També hi havia llibres de lectura (en alemany). La sala d'estar, menjador i cuina estan en un mateix espai. Hi ha un balcó ampli on en arribar de les excursions vam poder fer un te (detall de la propietat) tot gaudint de les fantàstiques vistes de la zona, mentre la canalla s'ho passava la mar de bé pel jardí, amb els ases, gall i gats. Per posar un però, el llit de matrimoni el vam trobar un pèl estret, si bé és cert que pels tres dies que hi vam estar tampoc ens va resultar un problema.

• Nidi Gaal (7/5): Hoog gelegen rustige en sfeervolle accommodatie met wat voor- en nadelen - De accommodatie is rustig gelegen met mooi uitzicht en nabijheid wandelpaden. Het is mooi en netjes gebouwd, sfeervol landelijk ingericht met veel hout en aandacht. Ruim appartement met een entresol (hoofdslaapkamer). Het ligt op enkele autominuten van het aardige Triberg met een super leuk zwembad (glijbaan, duikplanken, speelartikelen, ligweides enz.) waar de gastheer ons attent kosteloos van gebruik kon laten maken dankzij de ZwarteWoud-gastenkaart. De accommodatie heeft twee grazende ezeltjes staan en kippen plus jeu de boules-sets en een basketbal-korf, dus leuk voor jonge kinderen. Inchecken, info en communicatie is allemaal erg goed verzorgd. Veel koekoeksklokken-winkels in de omgeving. Als je wilt mountainbiken, wandelen en/of wielrennen prima omgeving met veel mogelijkheden. Het was uitzonderlijk warm in het Zwarte Woud tijdens ons verblijf. Daar was ons appartement ('Manuela') niet op berekend. Het klimaat in het bovenste appartement en met name de slaapkamer op de entresol onder het schuine dak was helaas niet regelbaar en benauwd, met slechts 1 ventilator voor 2 slaapkamers en geen horren maar wel nachtinsecten. Houd rekening met steile smalle wegen naar accommodatie als je denkt een gewone fiets te kunnen gebruiken. We hadden ook niet goed gekeken dus het bovenste appartement Manuela zonder balkon en terras was onze eigen fout. Al met al bezien voor ons een 7. Let wel: andere appartementen met (groot) balkon kunnen een aanzienlijke betere ervaring bieden!

• Tobias (8/5): Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt auf dem Hof - Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich und alles war sauber und ordentlich. Die Lage war sehr schön und es gab einen wirklich fantastischen Blick vom Balkon aus. Die untere Etage vom Etagenbett war etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig - Achtung: Nicht den Kopf stoßen ;-)

• Belinda (10/5): These hills sing! - This is a gem away from the crowds but close enough to be back in town in 10min. The hiking trails just outside your door are amazing. We had plenty of space for our family of 5. Nice small kitchen to cook when we wanted. A neat little "Extra" cabinet in case you needed sugar or coffee.etc. There is not a thing I would change, it truly was wonderful.

• Niva (9/5): a cabin in the middle of nowhere, but not really... - the location was perfect. it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere but only 3 minutes away from Triberg. the room had so much charm. the trampoline and sand box where a favourite. my kids loved everything. we took beautiful hikes around the area. not the best sound insultaion.

• Alfred (9/5): In touch with nature, yet clean and comfortable - The apartment is in the middle of the forest, having breathtaking views. Nobody else around except for nature. The place can only be reached by car. The owner does not speak English but his lady wife is very friendly, speaks English and very helpful. There is a playing field and animals for the kids. The apartment is clean and comfortable. There is an outdoor bbq area and a fire-pit which are very enjoyable. One really experiences the black forest here. Nothing much to complain about our stay. 2 small issues to note are: 1) during a week stay, we were not offered a change of towels, however whenever we asked, they replaced our towels immediately. It would have been nicer if we did not need to ask. 2) always make sure that you are supplied with food and drink, because the road to the apt is quite long on a narrow and dark road.. but overall it is a clean, nice, comfortable and safe place to really enjoy the black forest.

• Frans (8/5): Relaxing week in Gibbesbachhof - Nice location, quiet and with a great view. Practically everything we needed was present. Friendly hosts, good info beforehand, smooth arrangements. Nice walks possible from the house. The apartment feels a bit cramped because of the stairway in the middle of the room. The property is high on a hill and far from shops etc, so we needed our car daily to descend and ascend the narrow roads

• Lynne (10/5): Perfect Escape - My family of 4, dog, and friends stayed with us; so 10 of us in all in two of the rooms. It was absolutely amazing and I will definitely consider booking here again! The best views, awesome dinning spaces, great for kids, and pets. Just a short drive from the train station and from the center of town. Perfect! I didn't like that we didn't buy the whole place out! I wish we bought every room.

• John (9/5): Wonderful, we just wished that the apartment below us had been unoccupied - Fabulous location, excellent facilities and good quality equipment, everything seemed to be provided, wonderful views. Opportunity to enjoy a traditional wooden Black Forest home. We did walk to Triberg 4.3 km because we like hiking but we think most people would feel that their own transport was important for this location. The only thing we would have wished for was better ‘ sound proofing’. …..The other guests below us were noisy, but only laughing and talking with their friends ….never early morning and never late at night , just normal holiday fun. Unlike normal housing the noise carried up through the floor. For such an ultra quiet location in the middle of remote country side, their noise made us feel a bit disappointed.
