- Michele (10/5): - Amazing staff. Beautiful property. Love the location and setting. Love Mogi the Cat! Am looking forward to staying again SOON!!
- Elmarie (10/5): - Beautiful location with good service for my business trip
- Elmarie (10/5): - Lovely place to stay while I was on business. Clean with very helpful staff and good food.
- Tony (6/5): - Rooms and property was ok breakfast was very bad.
- jmR1995YM (10/5): A little Oasis in Eswatini - Really lovely hotel set in the mountainside with a jungle like atmosphere with the beautiful gardens overlooking a great Mountain landscape view. We stayed here for one night on our way from Kruger to St. Lucia and had a wonderful time. The staff were very friendly and the food was also very good. The gardens are absolutely beautiful to wake up to with a cup of coffee and the sunrise. Would stay here again. Rooms are also nice. We had two rooms which have some nice privacy with a private section of a patio overlooking the gardens. Thanks so much for a nice stay!
- Florian (8/5): - Schönes Zimmer
Freundliches Personal
- Paige (10/5): - Fantastic!!! We only spend one night here and wished we had stayed longer. Room was wonderful. The setting was lush and tropical. Food was delicious. I highly recommend staying here!
- Fantajan (10/5): A Gem in Ezulwini - Mogi is under relatively new ownership/management and is now run by two delightful sisters under whom the property is thriving. It's hard to think of something I didn't love - ok, maybe have a few pillow options including something a bit firmer. The internet connection wasn't great but I think that is typical of the area. And the road up to the lodge is only paved for the initial ascent so can be tricky for smaller cars, particularly in the rain. That said, it is definitely worth the drive. We arrived in the early evening and check in was quick and efficient. I had a deluxe room on the top floor of the lodge facing the road. It was HUGE with a partial kitchen (fridge, microwave, kettle, etc.) with nice coffee and a French press (and not Nescafe), rusks, and an assortment of tea. There was also milk in the fridge for coffee. There was a comfy couch and a huge bed. There is a ton of storage space which would be great for those doing a longer-term stay and a massive bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub. The provided toiletries are of high quality. The shower is interesting as it is open on two sides which does mean that you tend to splash water about. My shower wasn't draining properly the first morning but they fixed it while I was out during the day. I appreciated how attentive staff were to details like this. For a relatively small lodge, the food is really very good. Breakfast is included and there were a range of options. They also serve dinner for a reasonable price and some interesting options including good choices for vegetarians. I was more impressed with my meal there than I was with the one I had at the Velvet Monkey just down the street. Everything is of high quality here from the food and ingredients to the sheets and toiletries. The rates are very reasonable and very good value considering the quality of the rooms and service. The location is very central to the attractions in Ezulwini and Malkerns. Did I mention the views from the hotel are stunning? I've also stayed at Mantenga Lodge which is similarly priced and in a lovely location but I would opt for Mogi as the rooms are much nicer.
- Ginette (10/5): - Excellent.
- Siobhan (10/5): - A lovely boutique hotel with very clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly efficient staff & good service and well priced. Perfect location quiet in the hills with all the amenities of the Ezulwini valley minutes below
- RafD110 (8/5): Ideal sleepover in Eswatini - We stayed for only 1 night on our way from St Lucia (ZA) towards Hazyview (AZ). Except from the entrance road, everything was very fine. Spacious rooms, excellent bath-rooms. We also enjoyed a nice diner and breakfast. Or maybe one more remark; the WIFI is quite poor, which was mainly an issue for our teenagers.
- Francisco (8/5): - It was a really nice experience! Amazing place!
- markhZ6934AR (8/5): Comfortable and intimate small hotel - Charming boutique hotel with an intimate terrace (room 8) overlooking the surrounding greenery and the wide valley. The hotel is owned and managed by the two sisters Kate and Kelly. After a puncture just after arrival, we were completely immobilized during Christmas and Boxing Day. Kate and Kelly did everything possible to assist us so that we could still enjoy the beautiful surroundings including a visit to the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary and the beautiful Ezulwini Golf Course. The two sisters did their utmost to find a solution for our flat tyre. A new tyre was delivered and fitted by Michael (thanks again Mike) at the earliest opportunity, so that after our three days stay, we could get back on the road as planned. The internet (WiFi) at Mogi is pretty good. The restaurant has a small but varied menu and is not expensive for the good quality delivered. Thanks again to Kate and Kelly for saving our holiday in Eswatini. We really enjoyed it.
- ccardim (10/5): precious - ALL 100%. very accomodating with the requests of a family of seven. no dinner available but immediately taken care by ordering from a restaurant near by during a huge thunder storm. great bathrooms, great beds and linnens, happy staff, amazing scenario.
thank you.
- Martin_Sch_88 (10/5): Beautiful Place - Nice hotel in Ezulwini,
we had room number 4 with one big bath, sleeping room and one extra room with a small kitchen an TV. Everything was working fine, also the Wifi. The Rooms are very clean and a nice view. The Pool has a great view and also a beautiful garden with a small place to make BBQ by yourself. The staff is very friendly (Ndumiso, very nice person)
I would book it again to stay here.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hübsche kleine gepflegte Anlage, inmitten des tollen Gartens liegt der kleine Pool.
Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.
Das Frühstück war exzellent
- mstegmeyer (10/5): Beautiful rooms & nice service - The room was really beautiful (I think, we got an upgrade), breakfast was really good, everyone around us was really friendly. The hotel lies on a hillside, which is really beautiful, but makes the drive up (only partly paved) a bit of struggle with a smaller car in rain season.
- mikeyoost (10/5): Simply the best in Ezulweni - I have stayed at MOGI many times in my own whilst in the country for business as well as with Family. I have always been received well, the rooms have always been neat and clean. I have recommended MOGI many people an have always received a very good report!
The breakfast is a highlight, fresh, delicious. Deliciously freshly prepared dinner is also available on request.
I could not recommend MOGI highly enough.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Stunning view! Sadly no dinner available during our stay though. Overall, very nice stay
- TofuTorben (10/5): Wonderful place - Our stay at Mogi Boutique Hotel was awesome. The staff was very friendly, the compound and our room nice and the breakfast took a very good beeakfast to the next level. If we'd plan our holidays again, we'd stay longer.
- Getaway123457 (10/5): Perfect - Wonderful place to relax with great staff .the rooms are very clean and have everything you need after a day exploring the area . The gardens and views are amazing .we also had a very nice breakfast .
- LaurentD536 (10/5): Great Hotel and staff - Unfortunately we only stayed two nights at the Mogi Boutique Hotel. The location is very nice with a breath catching view over the Valley. The rooms are very nicely decorated and come with a full set of amenities from courtesy tray to a fridge or a microwave oven. Unfortunately it was not warm enough so we could not test the pool nested in a lush garden between the rocks.
But best of all is the staff who is really present to make your stay as enjoyable as possible with a special mention to Mike.
So I definitely recommend the Mogi Boutique Hotel is you are passing by.
- Jenni10h (10/5): Super find in a very unusual location - We had problems finding the hotel as ‘main road’ doesnt Help in the dark ! You can’t find it on goggle (hotel please note!) a very nice black sign doesn’t help. We thought we were going to sleep in the car ! Luckily found someone a few miles down the road who could direct us ! Had a great welcome from ‘welcome’ who couldn’t do enough! Great meal breakfast on a hillside location . Lovely tropical gardens too . The room, shower well furnished and clean . V good value for money
- ernse (10/5): Best place in Eswatini - Stayed here whilst doing a business trip. Service was excellent, setting is great with nature all around and a superb view. The room however took the first price with very modern furniture and all amneties supplied. The bathroom is huge! Breakfast was fresh and delicious! Price is realy good for what you get and trust me I stayed in lots of places. See you again soon!
- Quest41310760425 (10/5): Calm Stay - When we arrived, a member of the staff immediately took our heavy luggage and placed it in our room. The staff at Mogi is very friendly and very helpful.Breakfast was good, so was dinner. The place is very quiet and has a fantastic garden.
- Sarah (10/5): Lovely place to stay - We were made to feel very welcome on our arrival. Rooms spotlessly clean and well appointed with comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms, tea, coffee and fresh milk. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and varied. The staff were lovely and the grounds beautifully kept. Highly recommend.
- Cloggy (10/5): - Great nice little hotel with vey friendly and helpfull staff.
- Erika (10/5): Great find! - I typically stay at a larger hotel in Mbabane but it was full for my most recent stay. I am glad it was as I can’t express how brilliant my stay at Mogi was. The room was large and clean and the grounds were delightful. Breakfast was top notch as was the service.
- ziningi (10/5): Spectacular Boutique hotel. - The staff was wonderful, friendly and efficient.
We were also checked up on, to ensure we are still comfertable. The beds were very clean and comfertable. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The food was marvelous and the landscaping ensured we could get fantastic pics in the hotel. Wif made sure i could communicate with my family back home. The TV had all the channels to catchup on my fav shows, unlike typical hotel channels.
- Yvette (10/5): - Mogi Boutique was a great choice. We stayed here for one night and would have stayed longer. The view from our room was wonderful and the room was very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! We highly recommend.
- Artem (10/5): Great stay - Beautiful small place with all comfort you need.
- Donna (10/5): Beautiful. Stay here if you are visiting Mbabane - The Mogi Boutique Hotel is a little piece of paradise. My daughter and I stayed one night on our travel through Swaziland, and would have liked to linger longer. The property is beautiful, the rooms have clean, contemporary design, and the service is friendly (thank you Jonathan
!) Wonderful breakfast included. Beautiful garden on the grounds.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great little find - Overnight stop-in on a quick trip into Swaziland. Positively surprised with the quality of accommodation, and a nice breakfast too!
- Erik (10/5): We really recomend Mogi. It's a great place! - A great place to stay. The view was amazing and the garden too. Good breakfast and very friendly staff. Small but sufficient poo nested away in the garden. Good wifi and lots of TV channels. Comfortable beds. If you have a car it is close to places to eat and shop. We didn't try the food at the hotel but it looked good. If eating out the really good chinese food at Luxy Garden. I would love to come back to Swaziland and I would most definately stay at Mogi again.
- Wendy (8/5): Great location for Mbabane - Mogi is in a great location for attractions in and around Mbabane as well as other areas of Swaziland. The hotel is stylish, clean and comfortable; the staff are friendly, helpful and professional; the breakfast is very fresh and tasty, and offers good variety. We didn't need towels washing every day but we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
