Club (4/5): Clean hotel, No breakfast because no one had a key to get into the kitchen. Disappointing. - The room was pretty clean, the shower pressure was good, and the room was spacious. The parking lot was full upon arrival because of the shared parking lot with the restaurant. We didn't feel safe parking way up away from the hotel as there were random men standing around in the lot and we arrived after dark. We had to wait in our car parked up above to drive down to the hotel parking lot once we saw a spot open up. Being 2 women this was concerning. The front desk woman was nice, but she didn't look very professional in a tank top with undergarments hanging out. She was having issues checking us in because of a computer issue and we had to wait a while for her to figure it out while she was on the phone with someone helping her. Breakfast didn't happen in the morning. The door to the kitchen was locked and no one seemed to have a key to open it. This was VERY disappointing because we had a team of volleyball players in there who NEEDED breakfast before their first match at 8am. We had to be there by 7:00am and breakfast would have been nice to have. We purposely choose hotels with free breakfasts for that reason so this was very disappointing. We had to rush everyone out of the hotel and tell them they had to buy breakfast somewhere along the way and where we were headed there wasn't much around for them to get. I am not sure the breakfast would have even been ready by 6:30 when the breakfast attendant didn't even arrive until 6:04am. We were down there at 5:50am waiting for breakfast, and we beat the attendant there. Then the door wouldn't open and by 6:20 we were telling our players and families to rush out and grab breakfast somewhere else.
Angela (8/5): - Loved the location and the pool was very nice ,the breakfast was really good and the staff were very friendly We arrived late and someone with the same last name as me had the king room I had reserved so we had to settle for a double bed room only downfall was I wanted a bath and had to settle for a shower in which the shower pressure was horrible. Other than that everything was nice

It appeared that there was a couple of large groups on Saturday morning and only one person seem to be handling replenishing of food. For one a sweet in my experience means a separation of spaces. This was not the case. There was no linen or pillows for the pull out sofa.

No one refilled the empty breakfast items despite many customers that were waiting on it—during peak breakfast time 7:30-8:30am. Bathroom seemed only partially clean. No staff at front desk most of the time.

Only one bag was one morning the no one monitored the breakfast foods and it ran out long before time. There were many unhappy customers. The morning before was perfect.

BarbDarlington_SC (2/5): Bad experience! - The room that I recently stayed in had no remote to the TV. I called the front desk and the girl that was working brought me a LG REMOTE. The TV was a Samsung. It did not work and she could not get the TV to work either. I told her to forget it! Also the water in the shower was so strong that it shot out like a fire hose! I did not enjoy my stay!

Photos on Expedia indicated this type room had a walk-in shower. It did not. While we don’t need an accessible room, it helps to have a walk-in shower. The ice maker on this floor was broken which required this senior to go to the lobby to get ice.

Donley (4/5): - It's fairly unacceptable to stay on a site like this, walking in and seeing the shower is not clean. They clearly hadn't cleaned it in months. Perhaps they expect that "magic" spray to clean it, but sorry, it doesn't. Pink fungus/mold and black mold all around the shower. It was absolutely nasty. As far as the bedding, clearly not a washed comforter as it had black spots in a few areas, sheets looked washed. As far as cleaning the room during my stay? No.. never once did they enter. I guess that's a Covid thing? I don't know. Never got clean towels or a made bed in the 5 days I was there. Would have been nice if they would have told me this policy. I haven't travelled in a long while, so didn't know that was a thing. 1st night, the keys worked.. but expired, so couldn't get in the 4th floor room when I returned to the room on the 2nd day. Seems like a basic thing to program a key to open the door for an entire stay. Overall a disappointing stay due to the quality of cleaning.. it's like they don't even try. Oh.. one more thing.. Room 415.. apparently the room at 515 has a leak in the shower pipes, as whenever they shower up there.. it pours into the shower in 415.. and you can tell it's been leaking for a LONG time.. tell me the cleaning crew hasn't noticed that.. really. Moldy and old. Pay a little more and find a better place..
michaelmK4101HW (10/5): Great stay!!! - Checked in for 2 nights because it was reasonably close to Furman for the Scottish games. Was able to do an early check in. I'm assuming it was the manager who checked us in. Very nice, and like us, talkers. The room (513) was good size. Big walk in shower. Double sinks. Very quiet. Breakfast area was roomy. Great breakfast options. Especially the biscuits and gravy. Auriel wade sure it was well stocked. The property is walking distance to a few restaurants. The pool was great. We were the only ones in there for 2 hours. Totally loved the card to fill out for housekeeping needs. Nice touch. Now the downsides. Shower door would not stay close. The blackening shades didn't completely cover the windows. Lack of towel rods or hooks. USB ports at desk weren't working. I've machine on our floor was broke. Most of that is nit picking. Will definitely stay here next time we're in town.
Suheil (4/5): - Some of the staff were nice, the lobby looks good but the room was very dirty. The bathroom was stained and dirty, the room carpet wasn't even vacuumed. There were trash, cigarettes buds and food behind the couch and the bed sheets and cover were dirty with makeup, dirt and some stains that looked like feces.
Robert (6/5): - The property is clean overall and we only interacted with one desk clerk a couple of times. Our issues are with the room and the overall accomodations. There was no bedding in the room for the pull-out sofa bed, so we sent our teen son to the front desk to get some. They were out of pillows. How? No resolution there. In addition, the luggage carts were almost impossible to find and the one we did find was falling apart. The caulking in the shower was very moldy so there's that. Not a great place but we were only there for one night, thankfully.

Passport18762802213 (2/5): Stay away! - Wish I could give a review of the hotel’s accommodations. Unfortunately we never made it through the front door. Our reservations for visiting family was abundantly canceled one week before the reserved nights stay. Was informed by hotel staff the hotel is overbooked? My question, why misled the public by saying you have vacantly when you do not. This is not just an oversight. What makes matters worse the reservations were made and paid for six weeks prior. But the choice hotel staff chose to wait only a week before check in to drop this last minute information on us. Choice Hotels and the Comfort Suits in Piedmont will never be my Choice in the future.

Tom (9/5): It was great, we have family in Easley. This will be our go to place. - It was very nice, more than we expected. I do want to mention the staff was really friendly and very helpful. Nothing, we were very happy with the breakfast.

Jeremy (10/5): Good enough and service was friendly - The stay was wonderful and although it seemed clean. It is definitely showing its age. There are stains here and there the couch and box springs and curtains, and things just need a revamp. That being said it filled all of our needs as far as comfort and amenities.
Melissa (10/5): - We had a comfortable stay. It was convenient to where we would be spending time during our visit. My only issue is the bathroom/shower was a little bit rundown so it appeared kind of dirty. Otherwise the stay was great.
Meredith (6/5): - Convenient to I85 and Crackle Barrel is walkable. Further from Clemson University than I expected. Bathroom shower not clean, shower door rusted, couch was stained and had holes in it. Piece of PVC pipe on dress drawers. Curtains stained. Bed comfortable.

Kristi (10/5): Our weekend getaway!! - We had a great weekend getaway!! We will definitely be coming back soon. It’s not far away from home maybe a hour but it’s a gray place to getaway from the normal life at home!! The only thing is the indoor pool was way too cold!! We could not get in it all weekend, the inside pool room it’s self was hot but the pool water was cold!!
