- Angie (10/5): Felt like royalty staying in this beautiful castle! Definitely recommend it! - Breakfast was delicious! Lots of great choices and the dining room was beautiful. We loved everything about it.
- Benjamin (10/5): -
- NATHALIE (9/5): - Le domaine, la chambre confortable, le petit déjeuner somptueux. Un merci à Catriona qui à ensoleillé notre journée par son sourire et sa bienveillance Rien
- Shell (10/5): - lovely breakfast
- GeoAnne (10/5): -
- Jenna (10/5): We had a fantastic night in the castle. - We loved staying in a real castle. It was a gift for my daughter’s 10th birthday. They have so many activities to entertain tweens that she was entertained from the moment we arrived until we left. Nothing.
- Russi (10/5): -
- Mary (9/5): A truly magical place, we will be back for sure - A stunning setting and a beautiful castle. The staff were very friendly and efficient Nothing
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Anna (9/5): Great - Really nice place and staff were so nice and helpful Room was a bit small
- Darragh (10/5): - Food was excellent, staff very friendly Having to pay 30euro per person for a small pool in thermal suite
- Christina (10/5): We loved everything about this stay. - We loved spending the night in a "castle!" Room was beautful, quiet and quaint. We were able to go into the gardens and enjoy the sunset with a drink from the bar. It was a magical stay.
- Anthony (9/5): -
- Chloé (8/5): - Lieu très beau Dyson non fonctionnel dans la chambre
- Kristine (10/5): If you’re looking for a castle experience in Ireland this is the place. - Best food we’ve had anywhere. Nothing.
- Mary (10/5): - The entire place was magical but, honestly, the staff were the crowning glory. So pleasant and friendly and helpful, in every area of the hotel. My stay was too short!
- Paul (8/5): -
- Seda (9/5): -
- Kim (10/5): Look no further…add this castle stay to your bucket list! - Wonderful stay at a beautiful castle! We only had one night here, but it was exactly what we were hoping for. Super friendly staff. We had dinner reservations and the prix fixe tasting menu was fabulous. With four people traveling and four options for each course, we were able to try everything which was great! Breakfast was lovely with an assortment of pastries, hot coffee and plenty of additional menu options. Our room was clean and spacious, bed was comfy and the bathroom was updated. The common areas in the castle offer plenty of lovely seating options for small groups and are a great place to wind down with a drink from the bar. The golf course and grounds are perfectly kept. Would absolutely stay here again! Our room was very comfortable, but the carpet in the living area of the room we stayed in could probably be replaced. That is the ONLY thing I would suggest and is certainly not a deal breaker. Otherwise, we absolutely loved this experience!
- Catherine (10/5): Girls night away - Everything it was perfect
- Aisling (5/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): - The whole experience was amazing Beautiful location
- Berkin (10/5): -
- Paul (10/5): - Location was beautiful, and felt special place to be Nothing
- Joan (7/5): Very relaxing - Staff very helpful and friendly Lacking facilities for tea/coffee light bites in the main areas
- Denise (8/5): Beautiful stay, will be back - We loved the location , the castle was stunning and the beautiful gardens were very well kept ,
We loved the activities centre and how friendly natacha was the lady looking after us, she was so friendly, breakfast was delicious and so were the cocktails The bathroom was a little bit small and not much room to put my creams and make up near the mirror , the service in hermoines restaurant the first night was very poor , we has to go up to the bar and get our own drink because none of the waiting staff came over. The second night service was brilliant , but this restaurant may not be run by the hotel as its part of the golf course, staff in the hotel at breakfast were exceptional
- Kelli (10/5): Lovely experience, fantastic staff and food was fabulous. - Had a lot of amenities on site and food was fantastic
- Mary (10/5): -

- conlon (6/5): - Everything Paying for the pool
- Sean (1/5): Beautiful place, badly let down by a room partying all night and required me to ring reception at 4.30 in the morning. R - Room partying all night above me, clearly no night staff walking around checking for noise or any sort of porter keeping an eye on everything. Ruined a trip away.
- Dean (10/5): -
- Hayde (7/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Perfect end to our Ireland trip! - Gorgeous property! We did the falcon experience, escape room, and ate dinner on the property. Watch the sunset from the rear patio bar. Everyone was wonderful we would definitely stay again.!

- Peter (10/5): -
- Rj (7/5): Lovely place for a spa and walk - Spa and internal heat room was lovely TV kettle and coffee machine didn't work. The food in 1860 was not great. Portions were too small for price quoted.
- Sean TURNER (10/5): The perfect stay - The staff throughout the hotel couldn't do enough to ensure my stay was comfortable and attention to detail was as expected and more. Well done team Kilkea Castle.....take a bow.
- Ciaran (10/5): -
- Hazel (10/5): Stunning castle hotel 1 hour from Dublin. - Everything! Gorgeous hotel in a proper Irish castle but with all your modern amenities. Beds very comfy. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast and food options. Spa was lovely. Bar was good fun. Open fire. Proximity to Dublin. N/a
- Zaffiri (8/5): - Colazione buona, servizio ottimo, staff molto cordiale Piccole cose riguardo la pulizia della stanza.
No lettini relax e tisane nella piscina spa
- Naolinda (10/5): - The location and the food Using The Thelmal suite shouldn't incur a different charge for residents of the castle
- Shane (10/5): -
- Jankauskas (1/5): - Don't like at all Order room in castle, got room like b&b i was very disapointment
- Eugene (8/5): -
- Michael (10/5): -
- Quirke (9/5): -
- Annamaria (2/5): Unfortunate - The night porter Frank who is Hungarian, it was a lovely surprise as I am also Hungarian and found that an amazing coincidence, he was very attentive and helpful! Our server for dinner was also very funny and a good laugh to have around i dont remember his name but he was over all very pleasant to be around ! The bed was comfortable. But unfortunately our stay was soured due a few things...... First the activities center was unaccompanied we went in and stood at the desk for 15 minutes and finally when someone arrived, even though she was very friendly she just ushered us into the games room without asking us what we would like to do as we were extremely excited to try the escape room and other activities and as soon as we came out from the activities room there was no-one there AGAIN so we left. Then the spa i had paid to get a massage which was absolutely delightful but unfortunately due to unforeseen reasons the spa was shut down and I was still charged full price which I thought wasn't the best...... then lastly I had called up a week earlier to VIP the room for my parter as it was surprise for our anniversary and me and my partner both work in hospitality and know when you VIP a room maybe something nice is going to be done with it as its a special occasion but no on arrival nothing was done ..... overall staff yes are attentive and lovely but overall I don't think I will return for a beautiful place it left a sour taste.
- Siobhan (9/5): - It was perfect
- Sheila (9/5): A cracking trip! - Very plush hotel situated in beautiful grounds with a choice of eateries. Enjoyed relaxing in the thermal suite before having a great facial and body massage. The staff were exceptional - friendly, efficient and very helpful. The food and ambience were fabulous. Its now my no.1 favourite place to stay and I will be back. Well

- Valerie (10/5): Comfy, homely am friendly. - It was so beautiful. The rooms were clean and so comfy. Food excellent. The breakfast on the second morning was so slow. There was a big party of women and the staff didn’t seem prepared
- Lisa (8/5): - The scenery was beautiful and the food was exceptional I have never tasted food as good. I would go back to the hotel for food alone. A lot of confusion around my booking. Communication could be better. We had booked late check out 1pm and a bottle of wine on arrival. When we arrived there was no bottle of wine and on the day of checkout reception rang the room at 12.10 asking if we needed help with our bags as it was past checkout time but we had paid till 1pm.

- Avril (9/5): - The food was really good, cocktails were tasty and the comfortable vibe. Bar man wasnt very friendly.
Was a wet weekend but still ventured out to walk the grounds but the loop around was too mucky to walk.
- Brenda (8/5): - Everything about the place was fantastic r We had lunch in the hotel
the turkey and ham sandwich has to be thr worst I’ve ever had .
The charge was €18.50. It was filled with one slice of plastic processed ham and a slice of plastic processed turkey. The rest of the fillings were also all processed .
For a 5 star establishment of this standard you’d expect more
Shame on you n tho kitchen feeding that to your guests

- Kevin (8/5): -

- Gary (10/5): -
- David (10/5): I felt like we was the owners of this beautiful castle the way we were treated. - The drive to the Castle itself creates this anticipation as you meander through the beautiful countryside. You get this sense that you are travelling back in time.
Easy access from Dublin via the motorway, about an hour and straight forward to navigate.
The entrance speaks for itself. You will know what I mean when you arrive.
The interior could not be presented in a manner more keeping with the castle and the atmosphere.
Our room 105 has the best views of the entrance and the garden. I felt like a king for a weekend.
The grounds are wonderful and a pleasure to experience with the river passing through the grounds.
We enjoyed drinks at the bar, and in front of the roaring fire, a great selection of whiskeys and more.
But the one top moment was when the head chief Pavol created what was the most delicious beef dish that I have ever had. Pavol mentioned how excellent Irish beef is but his skills turned it into a moment that my tastebuds probably will never know again.
Great selection of wines for every taste.
We enjoyed the thermal suite as a nice addition to the experience.
The standard of care given by the staff was impeccable and left us with a delight that we had stayed for two nights. One would just not cut it.
Enjoy.
