- Ceri (10/5): A great place to stay - Old Edam Haven is a lovely little house, very elegant and with everything a visitor could need. The large, but private, terrace garden is beautiful, well appointed with tables and benches to catch the sun and it provides extra living space in good weather. Over and above was the friendly welcome from Petra and Joop. They respected my privacy but were also very generous in their hospitality. And the location on the Nieuw Haven is excellent - just a few minutes from the centre of the city and the bars and restaurants - plus parking on the canal side was easy. I liked everything about my stay.
