The hotel and rooms were very cold, there was air con heat available but the whole hotel was cold. The toilet bins were not emptied the whole of our 3 night stay and the cleanliness of the bar area could have been alot better as the tables were still dirty from the night before as we were served breakfast.

The room was a little small for that length of stay. Would have suited 1 or 2 nights though. Next time we would try and book a 1 bed apartment.

There is a main road to front of building where some rooms are - so would ask for room overlooking pool/garden if available - which are quieter when you are booking....

• Susan (10/5): - Lovely hotel in a great location, central, but like a little oasis at the back. Room was a good size with a large shower room and a huge balcony/ terrace. The bed was super comfy and I slept well every night. The little cafe at the front on the street is cozy and has a resident street cat is cared for. Gorkem and Eva are welcoming and helpful. I will look forward to staying again when the weather is a bit warmer ! Nothing, all good

• Rozel (9/5): Excellent hosts in a well thought through and comfortable pension. - Excellent location near the turtles’ fountain roundabout on the main road into Dalyan, with a narrow entrance and bar onto this street and a larger entrance straight into the garden and bar at the back via the town main car park. (Car park charges a small fee but parking on the surrounding streets is free and a spot is always available.) The garden and rooms facing that way are very quiet despite the proximity to the town centre. Lale and her son Gorkam spoke good English, were always on site, cheerful and endlessly helpful and friendly. Like virtually all the previous reviewers, we found it very clean and comfortable, lovely wide comfortable beds, great a/c, en suite bathroom and generous balcony overlooking the pool and garden, the latter with substantial shade at any time. Rooms were cleaned whenever requested. Free wifi throughout the pension. Turkish breakfast was served in a room in the garden. The property is open all year but they do not serve breakfast during the winter months. We will stat here next time we cone to Dalyan.

Despite its central location we found it peaceful at night. Rooms are basically furnished, but we knew this beforehand so were not disappointed.

There is a convivial bar at the front Ren’s bar)As we were late in the season we didn’t use the pool but can imagine it would be very refreshing on a hot summers day. The landlady also kindly allowed us to charge overnight the electric bikes we hired locally for the weekend. Be aware that you do need to ask if you need the room to be serviced or the bins to be emptied

I cannot emphasise enough how delightful, accommodating and just just the loveliest people the owners are. Nothing was too much trouble. I was travelling on my own and they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and I had the best stay. The hotel is boutique in nature and has everything you could possibly want on hand. I loved the pool area and the bar. The hotel is so central in Dalyan that everything you need is in walking distance. Nothing - All was perfect.

Large well decorated apartment and immaculately clean. Fantastic pool area with a great bar and plenty of shade. Location could not be better, right in town a stones throw from our favorite bars, restaurants and the river boats, and yet quiet and peaceful. Lale and the rest of the staff could not do enough for us, a warm welcome on arrival, attentive service at the bar, arranging sun beds for us, providing an excellent breakfast, even when I got up at noon on one day! ... nothing was too much trouble. This is the first time we've booked our next stay before we even left ... can't wait to return in October!

The staff were lovely and incredibly friendly. The downside was the quilt was too small for the bed. There was a single electric stove, but no cooking pots/plus sharp knives/etc. Although it was a kitchenette, you couldn’t really prepare your own food ie. Salad.

It is a real little oasis in the middle of Dalyan. The pool area is shady and cool, and the accommodation is very comfortable and clean. We really appreciate having a fridge and a washing machine. The breakfasts are delicious and the cafe serves food and drinks throughout the day (very reasonably priced). The staff are all fabulous! :-) Hard to think of anything.

• Sonja (9/5): Amazing gem in Dalyan - This was an amazing find. We had apartment no 3, which has 2 good-sized bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living space with a kitchen. It's spacious, good beds, and basic furniture. The family who owns the property are fabulous. They go out of their way to help with any questions you have. They arranged airport transfer and a hammam visit for us. The garden is so lovely and peaceful, we sat there quite a lot playing games, enjoying milkshakes and cocktails. The pool is nice, mostly quiet, and guests do use it, but often, we had sole use. , enough sunbeds even if it's busy. It's close to everything, great restaurants and bakery on your doorstep as well as choice of supermarkets. Breakfast was Turkish breakfast, with little changes every day, so it never got boring, and we were told if there was anything we wanted differently, we could ask. No need, we liked what was offered. And did I mention the milkshakes? Yum Nothing not to like!!!

You can reach turtle beach by cooperative operated boats paying 100 Lira per person return. Dalyan Mosque/Cami is 2 minutes walk. Restaurants around are quite expensive but Kaunos Çay Bahçesi eating place (short walk along the river) operated by municipality is very good and affordable. The owner lady is very friendly and really helpful, she made nice breakfast and helped us in arranging taxi etc., Nothing

• Melissa (10/5): A hidden oasis in the heart of Dalyan - Just returned from two weeks at Grandmas Garden and what can I say, it's absolutely perfect. From Lales amazing breakfast to the incredible location. Couldn't be any closer to town, literally next to the Turtle Roundabout. But once you're in the beautiful garden, it's like a little oasis. Lale make you immediately feel like part of the family and the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool and lots of lovely shaded areas with comfortable seating if that's needed. You can get snacks through the day at the pool bar, which I would also highly recommend as Lale is a fantastic cook. All in all a stay I could not fault at all and can't wait to return. This was our first visit but it was clear many travelers come back year after year and it was easy to see why. The breakfast and pool area was so comfortable and inviting. Our room was very spacious and it was wonderful to have a dishwasher and washing machine in the room. you can’t beat the location, it is easy walking distance to everything in Dalyan. There was a unpleasant odor that came from the bathroom drain after a day or two post-cleaning.

• Shaheen (10/5): Quiet and Relaxing - Amazing local boat trips - The apartment is in a quiet and scenic area which is a minutes away from the river. There are buses nearby that will take you to Iztuzu Beach, Marmaris and other locations. Grandma known as Lale was very hospitable and went above and beyond to help you. Nothing. The area in terms of food is quite expensive, no big food or coffee chains in Dalyan but these are not a deterrent of the property, just putting it out there for anyone who needs to know.

• Wanda (8/5): Very good - The garden area was charming with lots of lovely cats. We loved the beautiful hostess and her son. The huge apartment was amazing with excellent facilities. The lovely varied breakfasts, including delicious home made jams and vegetarian offerings made especially for me. The pool.was small.and didn't get the sun all day . Sadly although the balcony had a mountain view, right in front of us was a petrol station so was.not inviting.

'Grandma' was just so welcoming and kind, and her breakfasts are wonderful (we were so sad to miss our last one for an early flight!). The location is great, 5 minutes from the river front and round the corner from the mini bus and centre of the town. Relaxing by the pool on sunbeds in the beautiful garden was idyllic, and we were very happy with our room, balcony and bathroom- was great to have a kettle so we could make ourselves tea. Pillow wasn't great for me (but I always struggle with hotel pillows as they're too high, so this is not specifically to this hotel), and would always be good to have more than one. Otherwise we loved everything and would definitely here again!

• Harriet (10/5): One of our best holidays ever - certainly the most relaxed! - Breakfast was a great selection of fruit, bread, cold meats, cheese, freshly made Turkish pastries, yoghurt, honey, homemade jam ... Tables are set out around the pool, under the orange, lemon and pomegranate trees. The food served from the bar during the day is also delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff are all friendly and helpful, and there is a very relaxed, hospitable atmosphere. Nothing is any trouble and all requests responded to quickly and with a smile. Our flight was delayed so we arrived early in the morning, but we were greeted at the door with a smile! The location is fabulous - right in the centre and only a couple of minutes from the river, yet quiet and relaxed. Our rooms were spotlessly clean. You need to request to have bed linen/ towels changed and the rooms cleaned, which we did every couple of days. We had a kitchen so could keep drinks cold, buy ice-creams etc and there was a washing machine in our bathroom (and drying racks) so we could clean clothes easily. The air-conditioning worked well; it was very hot during our stay. There is a supermarket opposite, and a pharmacist just down the street, so everything you could need is on your doorstep. Many of our fellow residents were regular visitors and were able to give us lots of useful recommendations. We will definitely be returning! We can't think of anything that we didn't like!
• Colin (10/5): Just home from 12 days,at Grandmas Garden - Fabulous welcome from Tulip. Very home frm home. Everything you need for your stay at hand. Breakfast was very good great selection, which had slight variation everyday. Home--made jam especially apricot were great. Snacks and drinks were high standard and very reasonably priced. Family cats friendly and coothy especially miracle was my husbands favourite, (from someone who apparently doesn't like cats much. ) Swimming pool clean and sunbeds set up as needed. Would I recommend Grandmas Garden- absolutely

Great location near all the shops/bars/river but yet so tranquil. Clean ...lovely breakfast...and we felt well looked after during our 2 week stay.
