Guest Reviews
- Stephen (6/5): - Pull out couch was quite poor. That guy had a bad sleep
- Mark (10/5): - My wife and I just spent 3 nights at Austria House and we couldn't be more pleased. The cabin was very comfortable, fully equipped with everything you need, just bring food. Eclectic and charming decor throughout. The hosts Angelica and Martin went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a relaxing one.
- Tracey (10/5): - Amazing place! Beds were so comfortable!
- Emery (6/5): - Unique: Design, materials used in reconstruction of the cabin. Comfort: Very good, except for a musty odor in the cabin likely due to the wood floors and rainy/humid climate........... otherwise we were quite comfortable.
- Axel (8/5): - convenient stop in town
- Kristin (6/5): - No hot tub as advertised and no information about breakfast which was also advertised. Cozy cabin though.
- jon (10/5): - Photos do not do it justice. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay again. My hat is off to the carpenter who built this place. You're going to see finish work that is unbelievable!
- Vanuza (10/5): - Cozy, clean and comfortable! We will be back for sure!
- Jason (10/5): - Great place to stay . Wonderful host . Will stay again
- Racylin (10/5): - Comfy and cozy
- Christa (8/5): - Quaint cottage with antique Austrian furniture. Ok for one night. Would have preferred the house.
- Andreas (10/5): - Very nice and helpful Host. We enjoyed our stay. Extremely quite and clean place. Thank you.
- Mary b (4/5): Not as advertised. - Its not a chalet. Its a shed. You walk into the bathroom first but the dark shower is in the kitchen! Very rustic and im not good at rustic. Others might just love it. For me it was scary from the start . Lots of plywood.
- Mary b (4/5): Not as advertised. - Its not a chalet. Its a shed. You walk into the bathroom first but the dark shower is in the kitchen! Very rustic and some arent good at rustic. Others might just love it. For some it was scary from the start . Lots of plywood. We were not offered breakfast...
- Richard (2/5): - Do not recommend this stay. It was a fire waiting to happen. Electrical was a bunch of extension cords. It is an old shed. There was a shower in the the kitchenette. There was a table and chair that touched a pellet stove. Better than sleeping in a tent I suppose.
- Sergio (10/5): - Characteristic
- Daniel (10/5): A little treasure - Very accomodating and friendly host. Stayed in the cabin. Very old building was cute and comfortable. Would certainly consider it for a multi night stay.
- Douglas (6/5): Basic - Shared bathroom, WiFi wasn't functioning, breakfast not furnished.
- Janice (4/5): - I booked 2 nights at House Austria. The owner contacted me through Expedia to say that the room I had chosen was not really available for both nights, but she had a queen that was en-suite. I said fine. When we arrived, she told us the reservation was not actually at the b&b and said Expedia had told me that. Well, not so. She had us booked at an historic hotel in “town” that she also owned. It was old and relatively decrepit, not unlike most places Stewart. Two, tall, steep staircases to the room. We had to schlepp are luggage up and use them all the time. It certainly was better located than House Austria, but not what we expected. We did get half of our money back.
- ed (10/5): - The place was simple but nice! We had a room with a shared bathroom but it was right outside of our room! Free use of bikes. Would definitely stay there again!!!
- Gordon (8/5): - The building is a older historic hotel with lots of character room was clean and quiet there's a common area with fridge and coffee maker a very unique stay
- Austin (4/5): - The hostess was extremely nice and welcoming. The room was very small. There was no shelf in bathroom to set out your toiletries.
- Claire (10/5): - Great place to stay, close to everything in Stewart.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This property was surrounded by beautiful mountains. You could see the mountain sheep on the side of the mountain from the yard of the inn. The room was clean, and it was extremely comfortable. I didn’t miss not having a TV to watch, either!! Wish I had time to stay longer, but I will be back. Thanks again!!
- Dawn (8/5): Clean and safe - Clean and safe. This was my second stay at House Austria and both stays were good.
- melissa (10/5): Charming - Quiet and delightful
- Josie (8/5): Quiet town - Nice clean place friendly people.
- Gary (8/5): - Great accommodations but no breakfast
