The staff was incredible and went above and beyond the lady put us in #10 it was the best room we had our own little apt it was adorable very comfy the boardwalk was also close to get there all in all we would stay there again.
opiesnook (6/5): - Great location The whole entire room/cottage was crooked uneven floors and it needed serious work to fix. What can I do though, I needed a place to stay and that was it. Nice people run the cottages, nice coffee/restaurant too. But that unit needs to be fixed asap. The bathroom slopes down at least 8 inches from the rest of the cottage. It was most as well and people hanging out at our window in the bedroom running around. Thank God from curtains though. They had those. Bed was comfortable.
TODD (8/5): Perfect and private for the night! - 3rd stay at Boardwalk. Very simple and quaint. Cozy. Perfect for a night in Longbeach. Provides access to nearby pool too. In my room the curtain rod for the shower sprung off and went to the floor in pieces! Maybe they should use a mounted rod instead of spring loaded!!

Kira (10/5): Our favorite Long Beach spot! Great location, great service, great amenities. - Boardwalk Cottages is our favorite place to stay in Long Beach. Front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. There is a cute cafe located on the ground floor of the main building, serving food, coffee, and cocktails. The cottages are lovely; clean, well-stocked and spacious. This time we stayed in a deluxe king suite, an appropriate description. It had a nice little kitchen, big bathroom, roomy living area with fireplace, dining area, small balcony, and a large bedroom. They even provide ear plugs and a white noise machine (which I kind of wanted to take home)! Also, the location is great - right next to one of the beach approaches, restaurants, downtown shops, and more. There wasn't anything we didn't like about it!

Fireplace was a bonus and the spa tub was exactly what we needed. Such a cute little gem! Will definitely be back. Nothing. Everything was lovely.

The bathroom was very small along with the shower. Outdated toilet and bathroom. Would be better if there were more TV channels. I believe that we got basic channels, so there was not much to watch.

Cary (4/5): - They parked a large diesel trailer generator right outside my door on a Saturday. Tried to enjoy cooler weather with the windows and door open. The exhaust smoke came into my room setting off the fire alarm. Let the manager know he took the fire alarm and said he’ll bring it back later. Because of the fumes had to leave till they shut the generator off which was the full day Saturday. Had to air the room out after the work was done next door. They never brought the fire alarm back. Never said it’s clear, never offered money off knew that it was a major event weekend and there would be no other places to go.
Jason (8/5): - Good- The unit was clean. The two bedrooms worked great for us with kids on the bunk bed. Close to the beach and downtown Long Beach. Not Good - Definitely shows some pet wear. The TV didn't work in the 2 bedroom suite, but that wasn't why we were there.

The room was clean and prefect in every way as well as quiet. Other guest were friendly. The stay was exactly what I was looking for and affordable. I will return to this property in the future.

Everyone seemed in a huge rush like they were overwhelmed. The kitchen countertop was really sticky like the finish hadn’t dried completely and made it really uncomfortable to use. The window could use a blind didn’t want to take a shower at night. Bedroom could use a little more decor or coziness seemed a little white and echoey
Lisette (4/5): - Cute cottages, but in poor condition. Dirty walls, scummy floors and generally run down in appearance. We aren't super picky, but the cottage needs some TLC.
Glenn (10/5): Great Stay! - It was a last minute added date and they were able to accommodate us. We have stayed here in the past and had been very happy with the accommodations and again a pleasant stay. The new Current cafe on site now was amazing, great food and full bar and would highly recommend even if not staying at the cottages. All the staff very friendly and welcoming so keep that up and will be booking again!!!! The only thing would be maybe have a fan in the rooms just for air movement but that is it.
Verified traveler (6/5): - I was very disappointed with the extra "incidental fees" i was had to pay. This was the reason for the low scoring in certain categories. The property blamed Travelocity for the miscommunication. When a customer shops for a vacation rental, they should get an "out the door" quote. No one like surprise charges for unexplained services. I am not recommending this property.

jessica (10/5): - Our beach cottage was one of about 10 right off the main road through Long Beach. The larger building where we checked in had a gift shop,bar and a restaurant with delicious breakfast offerings. We were also given pool privileges at the adrift hotel which was a 10 minute walk towards the beach. We didn’t end up going there but it was nice that it was an option. The staff was amazing, friendly and flexible. We were delayed getting back to our cottage for check out but they were understanding! We had a nice little kitchenette, a pull out twin bed, a TV with enabled screen casting, robes, a fireplace and parking spot right outside the front door or the cottage. Would recommend!

james (6/5): - Stayed: August 10 – August 13 Room: Small unit, Room No. 3, with mini refrigerator Overall, our stay was pleasant. The accommodation was clean, quiet, and conveniently located near souvenir shops, which made it very comfortable for us. However, I would like to share one point of disappointment. On the day after check-in, we inquired at the front desk about the possibility of moving to a larger room for greater comfort. The staff informed us that a larger room would be available, and that we could move on August 12. Unfortunately, when we approached the front desk on August 12 to confirm the move, we were told that the room was no longer available. This left us feeling quite disappointed, as we had been given assurance earlier that the room would be held for us. That being said, we still appreciate the overall service, cleanliness, and housekeeping provided throughout our stay.
Kevin (2/5): - This place is nothing like the pictures. I paid two nights but only stayed one.
Kimberly (8/5): - Overall, great place to stay. The staff were very friendly and cool. The beach was really close by which was convenient and fun for the kids. We would def get the bigger cottage if staying for a longer period of time just because it was a little cramped but did well for one night. Only negative I have is the shwr curtain didn't really protect the floors well from water damage and you would flood the bathroom everytime a shower was taken, especially with kids.
Jason (4/5): - Don't assume air conditioning in this town. Understandably, it was an exceptional hot day, but a mini split or at least ceiling fans would be nice. Most of the town was shut down by 7pm, maybe because it was Sunday. Bed is overly soft. Shower stall is tiny. Walkable to the beach for some, but we needed to drive. Floors, door frames, furniture are pretty dirty. Some loud pets in other cottages. Overall, funky old cottage smell. Staff were super friendly. The restaurant area at check in seemed nice. Town has some charm but not for all. An actual boardwalk is non existent for the time being. Quite surprised at the high ranking reviews that we based our stay upon.
Penelipe (8/5): - The space of the room was nice, bathroom separate from the bedroom. Easy check in and out, nice staff. We were in the kitchenette room and it was right next to the busy road.

Robert (4/5): - Bed too tall, parking awkward, tv in room, but only accessible if you have the right phone and lots of apps. No mention of this anywhere, except on the tv. Fees for using soap and shampoo. Fees after departure, again, not mentioned anywhere. Very limited seating, not designed for comfort. If you're an older person, don't expect to fit in at the cafe. Checkout was offered online. Checkout process denied online. Checked out at cafe, staff said I didn't have to come in. Website said I did. No concern, no apology, just walk away. Cottages are cute, bathrooms designed for skinny people. Lessons learned.
Verified traveler (6/5): Run down and noisy - At check in, the staff were not welcoming and the front desk was blocked by boxes of paper towels. We had to climb over the boxes to reach the counter with the credit card machine. The property is worn down and unkempt. The building's exterior and interior had chipped paint, damaged walls, and visible dirt. The walls were very thin, and all noise from the exterior (people's conversations, cars driving in the parking lot, and dogs barking) could be heard from inside the building. The amenities were lacking (bikes but no helmets, games missing pieces, and the pool was an 8-minute walk away). The bed was very uncomfortable, and the rooms were stuffy. Opening the windows resulting in insects coming in through the holes in the screens. There was visible mold in the bathroom from lack of ventilation.
Christi (6/5): Not worth the price I paid. - Beds were comfortable- close to town The cabin bathroom was very tiny with no countertop or hooks. Shower was very small. Smelled musty, dog hair was found in clumps on the floor.
Natasza (10/5): - The cottages were adorable, easy parking, and short walk to the beach. The cafe was our breakfast spot every morning.
Billie (8/5): - Great area for the dogs. Loved the goses to clean them after the beach. Needed more hooks inside the cottage! Without a closet or dresser, it needed someplace to put clothing, jackets, hats, etc. 3 hooks was not nearly enough.
Shannon (8/5): Good place to stay. - Description didn’t mention stairs, which would have been important to know about. Gravel lot and hard to close doors ensures we heard everyone coming and going. Staff were friendly. Place was clean enough (although a previous guest left a coin near the bath tub that didn’t get cleaned up). Bed was comfortable. Would have liked a coffee maker instead of the bags. It was a good stay. Central and easy to walk places.
Marita (10/5): - We had such a wonderful stay at Boardwalk Cottages in Long Beach! The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed — from kitchen essentials to extra towels. It had that perfect blend of charm and modern touches that made it feel both homey and special. The location is unbeatable — just a short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. We loved being able to explore the boardwalk and then come back to such a peaceful, relaxing space. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We truly felt welcomed and cared for. Whether you're looking for a quiet weekend getaway or a fun family trip, Boardwalk Cottages is a fantastic choice. We’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to friends and family!

Michael (10/5): Above and Beyond! - If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I was already going to give 5 (loved the set up, separate bedrooms, very comfortable beds, great amenities either on-site or nearby at The Adrift), but then I got home and couldn't find my (fairly expensive) headphones. We're 2 and a half hours away, so I called and Hannah not only checked and found them (the ONE time I didn't check under the bed), she wrapped them up and mailed them to me! We will definitely be staying there any time we go to Long Beach.
Sabrina D (2/5): - The room was covered in dust. The ceiling fan had a thick layer of dust on it, as well as every single light fixture. There were cracks in every single corner. It smelled musty. There is complete false advertisement when they are posting photos about the property.
Hannah (6/5): - Room was pretty dirty, shades were filthy, mold in the bathroom. The whole room feels like its sinking and tilted. Bed was comfy though. Probably wouldnt stay here again.
Herb (6/5): - Very clean. $50 dirty dishes charge. Makes me wonder who may have used them with less than sanitary washing to avoud $.
Melanie (8/5): We love staying at the cottages and rhe amenities it provides. - We love the location and that it is dog friendly. The staff was very helpful. The cottages need a thorough cleaning. The baseboards were dirty, the top of the fridge was dirty, in the bathroom on the floor by the sink was dirty. The couch was dirty. It just seems it needs to be thoroughly cleaned.

Katherine (10/5): - We got one of the renovated rooms and it was beautiful and comfortable. The living room furntiure was definitely more for style than comfort but luckily we weren't there much. They need longer shower curtains. The curtain didn't cover the edge of the bath so we had to mop up tons of water after each shower.
