- Claire (2/5): Left Stranded! - We booked this apartment for 2 nights over the Labour Day weekend whilst we explored the city. After receiving confirmation of our booking from expedia, we arrived to check in where there was no indication of where to check in or who to report to. After trying to find a number to call, we eventually got through to someone who then informed us there was no booking listed and they had no space for us for either night, leaving us stranded in LA on a very busy weekend and nowhere to stay. Needless to stay the only available places left to fit 5 travelling girls without having to split into two rooms were either booked up or ridiculously expensive. This messed up our entire weekend which we had planned out, meaning we lost out on a lot of activities and sights within the city. The man on the phone was apologetic but made no effort whatsoever to try and help us out, only informing us that we would not be charged for the booking. I definitely advise against booking this apartment unless you want to risk being stranded!
