• Hannah (10/5): 5* service and support from staff, excellent facilities - Absolutely superb hostel. Our hostess Nice went above and beyond to help us arrange tours of Khao Yai National Park. The room was very clean and comfortable, with the amazing bonus of a flat screen TV connected to Netflix! This allowed us a much needed relaxing evening after the chaos of Bangkok and before a tiring few days camping in the National Park. Would recommend this hostel to any weary traveller who needs expert advice and a comfortable stay before heading to Khao Yai.

Accommodations were comfortable and it was a nice little luxury to watch Netflix at night. Nice was a wonderful host.

De tour die Nice ons voorstelde was ongelooflijk! Prijs kwaliteit van de tour was heel goed! We hadden op een gegeven moment last van mieren in de kamer. Wanneer we dit tegen Nice zeiden, kwam ze meteen om het op te lossen.

• Carlotta (10/5): The name (at home hostel) speaks for itself :) - The staff was so incredible friendly, available for every question and had an open ear for every concern. They even offered free breakfast.

We saw her for a couple of minutes, but she did everything we needed at that moment and more. She really understands how to help guests, we were so thankful! Rooms are basic, but neat and good value for money. Very close to the mini vans, that was handy for us. Room can be a little bit noisy, but not too much I would say.
• Alistair (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Pak Chong - Very comfortable, conveniently located right by the minibus stops and night market, great wifi and television if you need a chilled night in with some snacks from the night market. The host is very lovely and speaks great English. Nothing - it’s great.
• K (7/5): Good - The location here is good, the owners were helpful about what to do in the area, and the accommodation was very simple/ homey, but no complaints about the facilities. I had no complaints and thought the owners were friendly and warm- until the end of my stay here. I was actually going to extend another night until I walked to my room after breakfast and my door had been unlocked and was left open 🫨 I asked the owner if and why she had gone into my room, without even mentioning or asking?! She said she wanted to check on the trash..?! However, it was still before check out time and even more strange- there was no trash can in that room?! My purse, passport and wallet were on my bed…and she just left the door open?! When I told her that she had left the door open, she laughed?! 🫨 And when I told her I didn’t appreciate that, she laughed again?! It was really disturbing, strange, and I did not extend my stay because of it. It was Incredibly inappropriate and made me feel unsafe there.
• Celia (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious and clean room, Nice helped us to organise our trip to the national park and showed us different options, it’s possible to do the laundry directly in the hostel and there is an included self service breakfast
• Joon (10/5): A home away from home - Felt more like a homestay than a hostel: incredibly homely, with a lovely little dining area, individual rooms, and common bathrooms that belong in a house. Checking in and out was a breeze, and the WiFi and Netflix were excellent! Location is fantastic, too, being a short walk away from the night market, and withing walking distance from the train station. It's also quite quiet, being a little away from the main road. p.s. As I was catching the night train to Bangkok, the owner allowed me to leave my bags and use the washroom and dining area. They also allowed me to extend my stay at short notice, giving me some much-needed rest before departure!

• Vojtěch (10/5): Exceptional - First-really clean and cozy hostel, nice atmosphere, balcony to chill and chat with others. Self service breakfast with a decent choice included. Just around the corner from the main road with the night market. Secondly and most importantly-Nice and Cho are the best hosts, who really put their heart into their business. They really care, help you with everything, give you advices, tips for your travel....and especially help you with your trip to the Khao Yai NP, which is the main reason people usually come here for. They give you a map, all necessary informations and can book for you a group tour with professional guides, that's really worth it in terms of seeing various animals and learning sth about their habits. Also they speak very good english. Absolutelly recommended!

• Sciacca (10/5): Amazing hostel! Recommended if visiting Khao Yai - Highly recommend this hostel if you’re planning to visit Khao Yai National Park. Nice (the host) laid out everything I need to know about getting to and camping in Khao Yai, drew a map, provided all the prices of entry/hikes/etc. She has scooters she rents to guests and also booked a return van back to Bangkok for me. The hostel itself has Wifi, Netflix and is very clean, a very cozy stay before camping in the park.
• Javier (10/5): Exceptional - I only stayed one night before entering Khao Yai and it turned to be a great idea! Nice is trully welcoming and thoroughly explained all of the options that I had in the park and all the logistics, whilst answering any questions I had. I really appreciated her helping attitude. The place is super clean, has a nice terrace to chill and breakfast is pretty complete! It also offers motorbike rental.

• Burgerring (8/5): Enjoyable Stay - Unusual layout, but very clean room in a quiet location, hot shower and good WIFI. Nice the owner was friendly and helpful but ran a tight ship. English is spoken at the hotel and tours can also be arranged. Nice arranged an excellent tour for us to the national park. Supermarkets, night market, ATM are nearby but there is only a limited choice of restaurants in the area. Beef and Burger served excellent food and is within walking distance, around 1km from the hotel. Breakfast was extremely basic, corn flakes, toast with jam and coffee. Other items displayed eg cakes were extra. Eggs were also extra at 10 bar each. We feel breakfast should have included the eggs and perhaps a piece of fruit or some fruit juice. There are basically 2 walking routes to the hotel from the main road, one is excellent while the other passes many properties with very mean looking / acting large dogs which show their teeth, growl / bark nastily and charge their enclosures as you walk past. We did not feel safe using this route and it should be avoided.

• Michelle (9/5): Nice family but small rooms - Lovely family and hostel is a short walk to the night market, shops and restaurants which is great. They also supply free tea, coffee, toast and Cereal in the morning which was a nice bonus. Rooms aren't that big so felt a bit cramped with 4 people sharing and 3 of the lockers had padlocks on them and couldn't get them open so luggage was on the floor leaving very little space to move around. Beds were a bit hard and bathroom layout meant that floor got soaked and had to walk through shower bit to get to toilet so then had wet feet. We ended up using the one outside the room in communal area.

Easy organization o - The owner, Nice, is very kind, she helped us booking the tour at Khao Yai National Park and also the transport back to Bangkok. Nice and Cho who run the hostel provided every information about tour and transportation through SNS before I booked the hostel. They both speak fluent English, and they always try to help guests here. I wish I could have stayed longer if I have more time. None

The family owning it are really nice and will help you to book a tour for Khao yai national park with an excellent tour operator and excellent guide (if you book a tour also with Greenleaf ask for Tina!!) The hotel was super clean in a calm neighborhood. 2 min away you also have the Pak Chong night market. The owners have excellent English so everything is much easier. Everything was perfect.
